If your looking for a good cut then look no further. All their barbers are pretty well rounded and take pride in there work. The place is always kept clean and the their prices are good. The location is right on the main strip in St Helena plenty on street parking. Probably a good idea to play it safe and make a appointment cause they can get busy. After getting an appointment few days earlier for my son, I called the morning of knowing we would be running a little late because it was right after school pickup. On the phone they said that should be fine as long as we were not "too late", after our 20 minute drive up to St. Helena from Napa we walked in their door at 3:15 and were basically told, "We can't fit you in, but come back tomorrow" which is VERY infuriating after that long drive, however I told him we drove all the way from Napa, and did not want to come back tomorrow AND I said I'd called earlier and was told "it should be ok to be a little bit late" (isn't 15 minutes considered a little?). I am never coming back here again. No apology was offered and they literally seemed baffled as to why I was mad. Lost a customer and they have terrible customer service. read more

Avoid if at all possible. I have been here a couple times, and got decent haircuts. But on my most recent visit, I was put with a young guy who obviously had no experience cutting hair. I was given no warning he was in training, until halfway through the cut, a more experienced barber rushed over to tell him he was doing it wrong. Not what you want to hear in the middle of a haircut. He feebly played around with the scissors for another 10 minutes, until I walked out with the worst haircut in my life. I was visiting and I needed a cut on short notice. A teenager started to cut my hair and I knew he didnt have experience cutting hair. So right away I felt like a experiment. The Haircutter: Very nice guy. Personable. The Shave: 7-day growth of whiskers, no hot towel or anything to prep my face, just some foam and he started scraping. I had to clean up the unshaved areas at home. The Cut: About 10 minutes of actual cutting. The phone rang at one point. He answered with one hand and kept cutting the the other. Realized once home that the left side was longer than the right side. The Experience: Wish I could say more. read more
