One of the best meals I've had in quite some time. I had a small seafood platter. Ordered extra Hush Puppies instead of French Fries. Cook put fries on my plate by mistake. Server brought me the extra Hush Puppies right away. She didn't want me to wait so she brought me the dish the way it was made. I got the fries and extra Hush Puppies. Great food, great service, great selection!!! We've ate here a couple of times and every time it was fantastic. The only thing that to me was a little bit off-kilter was anesthetic-wise I felt a bit too open sitting in this restaurant. The ceiling was just way up too high and it made me feel like I was dining in a high school gym in the middle of the basketball court. I like this place. The environment is neat. The scallops were not good at all, everything else I've ever eaten there has been quite good. We've brought our small children and nephew and my husband and I were impressed that they automatically brought out some crackers to keep them from getting hangry. Kravers really wasn't what I expected it to be. Maybe that's why I think it was just okay. Most of the items are fried on the menu and its much more casual the outside presents itself to be. Good spot for lunch. But maybe try the causeway for dinner and live music, if that is what you are after. read more

I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in a restaurant. From the outside I thought this would be a great place; looks can be deceiving. The food was terrible! Only reason I knew it was Snapper and Crab Claws was that was what I ordered. Highly seasoned (read hot not flavorful) fish still had a fishy flavor as in not cooked well. No taste to the crab claws other than seasoning. "Fries" were definitely frozen ---the ones looking like an accordion; no taste at all. Slaw mediocre. Server only so-so. The ONLY reason I ate the food and didn't complain there was that a friend took me out to celebrate my Birthday! Not only will I not eat there again I will spread the word. read more

Excellent seafood restaurant serving fresh, local caught seafood. They are usually busy, but never a long wait and their servers are friendly and attentive. Their prices are great and their portions are more than expected. The gumbo is awesome and available to purchase as a to go item which makes gumbo for dinner at the house easy and inexpensive. read more

After having the place recommended by family I figured it would be better than shrimp basket. Sadly disappointed. Food was frozen not fresh (fried oysters, fried crab claws & fried shrimp). Was warm but not hot. Side of fried okra was hot but since they were sams club bulk fried okra it would have been impossible to screw it up... had they seasoned them! Not clean at all. Crab claws, fried green tomatoes, crawfish tails, fried pickles. These were the apps we started with and I cannot tell you which one was better. They were all extremely tasty and fresh. For my main dish I had then seafood platter. Which was you typical fish, shrimp, oysters, crab cake, and crab claws with fries. The biggest difference was it was not heavy and the sauce they give you. It was phenomenal. The portions are huge and I think just about everyone took some home or just didn't finish it all. We had a party of 18 and the service was on point and very efficient. I will go back here without a doubt and recommend you make the trip to try it out soon. read more

Oh my heaven. The food here is amazing. The service was fantastic. I have no complaints. We had fried green tomatoes with the special sauce, man I could have that as a soup. For delish. We had their famous gumbo and I know why it's famous. I was outstanding. Then my husband and I shared a 2 meat platter and the catfish flaked apart. So good. We both left beyond stuffed.
