One of our favorite places to go every time we travel to Mobile. The food is amazing. We love the crab boil bag with crab, sausage, corn, potato and shrimp. We ordered the fried crab claws for an appetizer and they were SO good! The restaurant has a seafood themed decor. You get bibs and gloves to wear to protect your clothing and so you don't get filthy. Cracking those crabs up can be a little messy! But it's worth it! My only complaint is that our waitress this past time told us that they were too busy to add the sugar to the sweet tea in the kitchen! I thought she was joking but she was not! She said they had made tea but didn't have time to add sugar so she asked him if there was another drink he wanted. Hindsight, we should have just asked for the unsweet and added sweeter ourselves. We spoke to the manager and he tried to rectify the situation. I think he was a little embarrassed by her actions. This situation won't keep me from coming back! read more

This restaurant is in a strip center next to the Dollar tree. Plenty of parking is available. We were greeted within a friendly smile and seated immediately. The Server took our order and I ordered an oyster basket with sweet potato fries. My guest ordered Fried shrimp and fried tilapia with fries. The food was fried to perfection however what I received was fried shrimp and regular fries. Although still good, it was definitely not what I ordered. The music was not great, The alternative music doesn't really fit with the seafood decor. Our drinks were not refilled but the Server did offer us a drink to go. read more

While the service was great my meal was not, the crawfish was not good, and the crabs were over cooked with the meat stock to the shell.

I ate there today for the first time. The waitress was very nice though she never brought the check and I had to go up to the counter to get it. The prices are a bit steep as well. With the 20% top just for myself was almost $50.00 I had the fried crab claws, shrimp and fries. The fries were really bad. They appeared to be reheated and were practically burnt. If anyone has been to Boiling Crab in California and love its flavor then this is the spot for you! This spot is very comparable to Boiling Crab! It was delish! The shrimp basket is delicious as well! It came out fresh and hot! One thing though I felt the batter is a bit too crunchy for me. Oh my goodness. This butter garlic sauce is so legit. If they bottled it, I would purchase it by the case. So freakin delicious. PS - you can ask for a side of the spicier everything sauce to dip the crabmeat in. Trust me, you will want to do it. I would have taken a picture but I couldn't wait to dig in. I absolutely love this place! The crab legs are to die for and I could drink the garlic butter sauce. I've been 3 times already and had excellent food and service each time. The entire staff was helpful and they made a great team checking on our table and taking care of our needs. Management is STELLAR....friendly, attentive, accommodating! This restaurant was much needed in Mobile, Alabama. I just hope they open more locations in the area to make them even more convenient! Also they have a $7.00 off coupon on the back of the Rouses grocery store receipts just down the street from them! gotta love that!!! They also have it in a couple of the Winn Dixie stores nearby. We arrived 7pm on a Friday night. We did wait about 20 minutes because they were short staffed. Another waiter arrived and we were seated. There were 5 of us. Our serves, Alexis, was very nice. She answered all of our questions about the menu. We ordered fried shrimp, hush puppies and potatoes with the boom seasoning. My daughter ordered crab legs, boiled shrimp with potatoes, corn and sausage. Everything was delicious! The only complaint was the gumbo was bland. My favorite restaurant in Mobile crabs are fresh garlic butter sauce. It's delicious and a quiet clean environment.

It was mediocre at best. We had steamed shrimp with potatoes and corn. Then ordered sausage, hush puppies and fries as sides. The shrimp were over cooked and hard to peel, large size, seasoning was okay, potatoes had been reheated, the corn was mushy and seemed old. Terrible management. Didn't even get around to being seated. Went on a Friday night, there were probably 4 parties seated in the whole building and everyone else was in the waiting area or picking up. We were told it was a 30 minute wait. An hour and a half went by, so we decided to leave after a server's friend got seated before us. This is a clean restaurant. The seafood is very tasty and well worth the money. The steamed seafood is what I always purchase.

If I could give them negative stars I would. The place is run horribly and the hostess has a terrible attitude. We arrive, she tells us there's a 20 minute wait, there's only 3 tables seated in the whole restaurant. She claims the owner told her to hold off and not seat anyone. There's now a lobby full of people, no where to sit, no where to wait, people are leaving, the waitresses are asking for tables and finally she decides to start seating. Dinner was fine, the waitress was fine but at the end we were told we couldn't use our discount coupon because there's tiny print that says not valid on specials and pretty much everything on their menu is a special. Asked to speak to the manager but we were told he's busy and can't come out. Then the hostess comes over with an attitude. We told her we won't be back between their ridiculous plan of making people wait when all but 3 tables were open and their coupon,/special policy which is not clear and she responds that we should find her more people to work.
