I've been searching for a Korean eatery in South County and now we have one in Krazy Fusion. Complete with Kpop poster and Korean Dramas playing. They have specialty bowls but the best things to get here is the Kim chi jjigae stew, and the stone pot bibimbap. The also have a classic wide selection of Boba Teas. Probably the best place to grab one in South County. This is no frills. Order at the counter and pickup your food. It is also self-bus went finished eating. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent bubble teas - which is what elevates Krazy Fusion to 3 stars imo. Nice clean flavors, not too sweet, no artificiality in taste. My 3 daughters love these libations - I sampled their respective mango, watermelon, and peach teas and found them very refreshing. However, not so impressed with the food. It's a 2-star place. Unhappily, the fried mandu (dumplings) are deep-fried instead of pan-fried (heck, when will I learn to ask first?), a dismal practice that sucks all the flavor and juice out of a mandu and makes it merely a bland dry vehicle for the sauce. The korean spicy ramen actually had a decent broth flavor, but its presentation is a bit of a mess, not the appetizing arrangement that ramen should have. The noodles themselves were limp and soggy, no springiness. Plus, the pork pieces are sad little sparse chunks, instead of slices. And why is the egg scrambled? A nicely poached or whole egg (like in jigaes) would have been so much tastier and attractive. My wife said her salad bowl was overall good, but again a bit of a messy presentation. Other entrees: the bulgogi gui was not bad, though the beef tended to be little chunks again instead of slices; the pork katsu was also deemed okay. Maybe a little less "Krazy" and a little more care is needed.

The bubble tea is amazing and the food is great! The food might come out messy but they're trying to do a Chipotle-style food bar way. This is a casual dining cafe and a good place to study if music doesn't disturb you. Would come here again.

I really don't understand why this place isn't busier at lunch - the ramen is so good. They make it fresh, and it's a lot of food for the price. I come here because it's a good vegetarian option on campus

I just came here a couple of days ago for a Yelp event (please check that review for my thoughts on…read morethe pork bun and Sapporo-style ramen on their menu). I liked it so much that I decided to come back and dragged my co-worker with me. The interior is sort of a long narrow-ish setup, with seating on one side, and the ordering counter on the other side. Edison-style bulbs lined the area, providing a warm, orange-ish light. Cozy. You walk up to the counter and order. They'll give you a number and bring your order to your table. I ordered the blackened tuna bun and O.G. Miso ramen (with an addition of pork and egg), with a Yuki Tora sake. The tuna bun was tasty. I believe the tuna was aburi torched, and it was topped with carrots, scallions, wakame, and sesame seeds. It also had eel sauce and wasabi, which created a great flavor combination between the piercing spice of wasabi and the sweetness of eel sauce. The O.G. Miso ramen used a miso broth, with carrots, cabbage, shiitake, topped with scallions, sesame seeds, and a piece of nori. And of course, I added pork and an egg to it. I love shiitake in my ramen broth, as it adds a bit of savoriness, and also provides a bit of meaty texture. The miso flavor in this broth is much more prominent compared to the Sapporo-style ramen, however, I found Sapporo-style broth much more complex and balanced. I think what I was missing in this would be a drizzle of sesame oil. I also got a Yuki Tora nigori sake with my meal, which I found I loved from the Yelp event a couple of days ago. One with the meal, and another one as just dessert after the meal. Also convinced my co-worker to try it, and he also liked it. This place is definitely worth the visit. In general, you won't find ramen this good unless you're willing to go into the city and pay as much for an hour's worth of parking as your meal costs.

The vibe was very laid back on a 2-3ish afternoon. Parking was street parking, but I believe there's public parking around the corner. The restaurant is pretty spacious. You order first and then sit with a number and the server comes with the food/drinks. The tablet does ask for a tip before you even get served. As my personal rule, I never tip before finishing my meal. I ordered the house ramen and a mapo mushroom omusubi. I like how the ramen uses local veggies. The pork was fine, but I didn't like its somewhat dry texture. The broth was a bit too strong and/or salty for my liking, but I don't hold that against it--it reminds me of ramen I've had in Japan, which is a positive if you're looking for something more authentic. (However, I am finding that a lot of ramen just isn't for me!) I got the mapo mushroom onigiri for takeout. I liked it! It's a little spicy and quite flavorful, pairing with the rice well. All-in-all it was a very laidback experience and I would want coming back here again if I'm in the area.

They have some pretty simple rolls, and they have some pretty out there kind of rolls. I've never had one that I outright disliked, though? I tend to look for the blackship roll, tempura roll, signature roll #2, or spicy sake (I still think spicy salmon is better than spicy tuna). Oh, their seaweed salad is pretty good too. It's in the corner of Belmont Market...has a small case in the front and then you can also order there or call ahead. You're only allowed to take 2 items from the to-go case at a time. My husband didn't realize this, and got snapped at by the owner for trying to buy more. We're a family of four so of course that doesn't work for us. So we ordered ahead the next time. 4 rolls took over an hour for them to make. Ridiculous. So my husband and I would tag-team...he'd go in for 2 boxes from the case and I'd go in after for 2 more. The second time we needed to order ahead, it also took an hour, but we were prepared that time and waited the full hour before going to the store to pick it up. But today? My husband went in an hour after he placed our order (4 rolls and a container of edamame) and not only wasn't it ready yet, it took an additional half hour to finish the order! My husband was standing there with our 4-year-old, waiting, and the woman making the rolls was not only making our order, but when she said "I just have to make your Philadelphia roll" she made 3 of them at once and packaged them all up and put the 2 extra in the case rather than fill our order so we could get out of there and feed our kids lunch. Come ON. Completely unacceptable. And the owner is rude. I don't know how they get away with it all. Kabuki, here we come with all our future sushi business! It had a sort of fast-food type of feel to it, but it was clean and bright. Never been to a Pokemoto before, so I didn't know what their menu was. It's very customizable, but since it was my first time here, I just asked for their miso salmon bowl (I was tied between the Hawaiian bowl and the miso salmon, and the girl making it said she preferred the miso salmon). Along with it, I got a seaweed salad and a mango boba tea. The miso salmon bowl was pretty good. The rice was definitely a calrose variety. It's the closest we come to a Japanese short grain for a US variety...otherwise, more commonly referred to as "sushi rice" in the US. The salmon had good texture and flavor. The miso was pretty good. Enough to give it flavor, but not so much that it overpowers it (I think it was made with a shiro miso, but I could be wrong). The garlic and onion chips gave the flavor some depth and provided texture. I was worried the cilantro could overpower the flavor of the salmon, but it didn't. The mango pieces in it....I'm up in the air about that. It was a more sour mango, and poke bowls definitely need a bit of acid or sour to cut the fattiness, but I found the mango a bit distracting. That said, I'm not sure what I'd use in place of it. The seaweed salad... it was.............okay. I mean, I liked it, but I found it very, very sweet. I feel like a bit less sugar, and a bit more sesame oil. Oh, and some sesame seeds. The mango boba tea... After looking more closely at the menu, I may have just ordered wrong, but, in contrast to the seaweed salad being too sweet, the mango boba tea was not sweet enough. Look, mango is a super sweet fruit, and when you get a dry mango sweetness, it's............weird. It's like this...imagine if you got a cup of watermelon juice, and when you drink it, you get a dry watermelon sweetness to it; like you get with a dry wine. Odd. Additionally, the boba pearls didn't have much flavor, but I didn't request it with the brown sugar pearls, so that's actually probably my fault. The boba tended to clump together, though, which was a bit odd (they don't do that when I make it at home). Overall, I liked it. I'll be honest, it's not the cheapest, but dining out hasn't been cheap since 2019. Was it worth it? Will I dine there again? Definitely. If I still lived in the apartments at the Commons, I'd probably find myself there once a week.
