We discovered this little dive after spending a few hours at the beach. My kids love sushi and poke bowls. I have one kid that prefers non-seafood so they have a grilled chicken option for a protein along with avocado and egg so it was perfect for everyone to create their own bowls. For about $13, they are very modest size bowls. If you're hungry, you may not be satisfied with the portion size. The first time I went salmon was crossed off the menu and I asked if it was forever thing and she responded with "it didn't look good today". that's all you need to know. As fresh as it can get! Gansett poke was good, and i had intentions on taking a picture but the way my bowl was assembled was precarious.. the avocado smushed to the lid, which took a decent amount of toppings with it when it fell to the ground.. maybe better assembly practices? This little place is real close to getting 5 stars from me and my girlfriend. I'll start with what they did wrong to get it out of the way; $1.50 for avacado and it was a very very small amount. Was hoping for a bit more but not a terrible thing, could just avoid. As we were leaving after a very VERY easy and quick curbside pickup we noticed 1 employee remove his mask and another wasn't wearing one to begin with. This is by far the biggest problem with this place for me so please be aware. Now on to the great stuff! $11.50 starting price for these bowls is good, you get a lot of stuff for the price and it fills you up for sure. The Salmon was flavorful and I got double to amount for $3.00 and it was maybe a little bit too much protein so I'll probably skip that next time and be happy! The build-it-yourself bowls are really easy to order via the website menu and you can't really go wrong because all of the ingredients seem to work together great. We were really impressed by their overall presentation with their menu, website, and physical storefront (although we did only see it from the outside, but it looked super cute and comfy). Everything felt very welcoming and easy to use. The aoli was a perfect amount of spicy and flavor for me but was a little bit too spicy for my girlfriend. I love spice so if you're not a huge fan it may be too a bit too much, not overwhelming though. Great poke bowls! Ordered 2 build-your-owns through their website and opted for curbside pickup because I had my 2 toddlers with me. She was bringing my order out before I even let them know I'd arrived! My bowl was delicious and spicy, with super fresh tuna and lots of crunchy veggies. I build a kid-friendly bowl with chicken, pineapple, kale, edamame, cucumbers, and crispy wonton pieces and my little girls loved it! This is the best eatery that has opened in over ten years in Narragansett. The poke bowls are full, the ingredients are fresh, and the flavor of the sauces makes the whole bowl come together. Today was my first visit. I live one town over from Narragansett, but I will be visiting this town, now a ghost town because of winter, every few days. I now want my regular fix of tuna poke, and I intend to get it, especially before the tourists come back to town. Let me also add that the price for a poke bowl is very affordable. Even more fun is that one can create his or own poke bowl by choosing the salad, the rice, the protein, the sauce, and other additions. From the second we walked in everyone was genuinely friendly and Very helpful (my first Poke experience). All those choices can be quite overwhelming to someone with a brain injury. We asked if they could recommend a place, by the ocean, where we could take our food and eat. I have come several times and had a good experience over the time they have been in business but my most recent trip was not enjoyable. After ordering per usual the acai bowls took over 20 minutes to be made. employees were incompetent and had no idea what they were doing. they also were sitting there flirting while we continued to wait for our melting acai bowls to be made. After finally receiving them, we found our orders to be both incorrect and messy due to having honey dripping all over the outside. i have had good experiences in the past here but this one was awful. read more

We tried Gansett poke and it is really disappointing ... minimal ahi and mostly rice fill this expensive bowl. Unfortunately we got it twice in the same week and the first time it was pretty good, still mostly rice and the toppings are sparse but we decided to give it another try. This time there was literally seven chunks (count em) of ahi on about a pound of brown rice and two tiny strips of nori and they forgot the sauce which is an integral part of any poke bowl. So disappointing as we love poke but don't waste your time unless you love rice. read more
