I guess I should have read reviews before coming. The first time I came here was 3 weeks ago for a fill, great job. But not so much of a great job on my pedicure. I came back again for another fill, she told me my nails were too thick and needed to be removed for a fresh set. Didn't understand why they were so old when I barely got the fresh set less than two months ago? Anyways, I told her I only had $60 cash and forgot my wallet at home. She said it was going to be $57 total which was fine with me because the first time I came it was only $47. She proceeded to remove the set I had on with clippers and her finger nails as another person mentioned. I told her it hurt me and she just said to look for a color because if I keep looking, it makes me "scared" and that's why it hurts. She finally applies a new set and the shape is okay but they're really thin. I had picked out a light baby pink gel color. During my pedicure I seen the color when she had applied it to ONE toe and told her it was a lot darker than I thought because it was so light on the sample. She told me to remove it they would charge me extra so I told her to leave it. I also asked her to pick another color for my nails because I didn't like the one on my feet so she agreed and let me pick another one. I chose a completely different color, it was a glittery light pink with like hints of gold. When she applied it on my acrylics it was just GOLD. No pink. I told her again this is not the color I wanted. I wanted anything light pink. She told me again they would charge extra to remove it from ONE nail that she had not even cured yet. I just settled because I was already upset, in the end she told me my total was $62. I reminded her that I told her earlier I only brought $60 and she said it was $57. She told me to call a friend or someone to bring the other $2. My friend came and brought me $10 so I paid her and she only gave me $5 back. I told her that I was supposed to get $8 back and she told me "no tip huh?" Would not go back. Would not recommend it. Horrible. read more

I wanted to get my earrings pierced for the first time and my brother recommended me this place because you didn't need an adult and plus it was cheap. I was kinda iffy about this place at first because it was only $5 a piercing and I didn't want any infection for my fist time. I pierced it in December and it's been about a month and I did not clean it and I also touched it a lot (not intentionally) and it has not been infected, tybg. Kim overcharged me unfairly. I came in for a mani/pedi, and she said it could be done in an hour. When it got to the pedi, I had 5 minutes left before I had to leave so I said I would come back next time. She insisted that I stayed, run a little late to dinner with my BOSS so that she could get it done. She started clipping my nails and I said, "Okay, clipping but that's it. I absolutely can't be late." When it came time to charge, she charged me for a full spa pedi! I said I won't pay for something I didn't get. She glared at me, nodded, took my card and charged it anyway. I was running late so I let it go, but I'll never be a customer here again. I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt because it super close to my house and it's reasonably priced but I'm done! This is the 2nd Time I've had to go back and fix something they messed up. I got french tip done the day before engagement pics and by morning they were chipped beyond belief. I go to see if they can fix real quick and they gave me attitude and said they were busy and come back 2 hours later. Needless to say I couldn't take a close up of my engagement ring cuz of them! Now today what cause me to write this review was because yesterday I got a gel nail manicure which was pressured by them in the first place to get and no less than 24 hours the gel is lifting from all the spots they poorly painted a my cuticles. I used to love this place. They did a decent job and the prices were very good. I was a loyal customer for 4 years. However, getting a manicure is so hard to do nowadays here.They barely have anyone there that can do hands. My last experience here was horrible and I felt like I was treated badly. I got tired of getting rude service and just nodding and smiling. I still haven't found a nail place that I'd like to call "my spot" however... every single place I've gone to has made me realize the poor quality of service I was receiving for a long time. They need to hire more people who know how to do hands and they need to speak English. There has been times they try to talk to me in whatever language they speak. I can't even tell them when they are hurting me or making me feel uncomfortable because sometimes if the owner is not there, I can't communicate with them. This place is good, but definitely not great. My first visit was almost two weeks ago. I asked for a full set "coffin" shaped. My nails came out beautiful aside from one ring finger being shaped a bit crooked and the HORRIFIC paint job. Seriously! Brush strokes in every direction. I would rate my first experience here 3 stars only because my set came out nice and polish is easy to remove and change. My attempt at a second visit was the reason why I had to give it one star. I do understand that weekends are very busy for salons but to be told to come back twice at different times is frustrating. I came in around 4 only to be told to come back at 6 I didn't mind because I believe that's when they had a opening. So I come back around 6 and the woman in the first table asked me "what do you want?" Not even a greeting, but whatever. I again say I'm in for a fill only for her to say "you have to come back tomorrow". Very confused I stood there a moment before she added "or come back at 8". Not even wanting to argue I said okay and walked out. I went home for the second time still without my nails done. A bit before 8 I decided to call instead of driving all the way down there the woman who answered said they were closed and I need to come another time. I can deal with workers being rude, but I really wish this place had better time management and organization to at least write down who they asked to come back I pretty much wasted my entire day waiting only to be turned away! Don't come here, they start adding extra charges for every little thing.. I couldn't believe she charged $5 for nail shape? What shape is included in the full set then? So i live 1 minute from this shop. They are quick. I recently called 20 minutes before closing time and they were able to squeeze me in. They still get 4 stars because I ALWAYS have to ask for a base coat. Great service, free Wi-Fi. I haven't gotten a pedicure in over a year.
