All of the nail techs are great! I request for Cici when I want to do cat-eye or more simple gel manicures. If I want more artsy designs, I'll usually request for Ella or Karen. Gel manis are still $45, with full cat-eye adding an additional $15. Hand drawn art design nails may add between $4-6 per nail, depending on the design; while if you're okay with stickers, it may be $2-3/each. More intricate nail designs will require more time & cost more depending on what it is -- so I would inform them if this is something you want to do so they can allot the right amount of time for your booking. I typically spend about 1.5-2 hours to get my nails done (including removing the previous months' nails, nail trimming, shaping, cuticles, etc.) As stated before: Easy parking in the First St. structure behind the shop. Restroom available in the back of the store & always clean. They also do have bottled water, if needed.

Because of that, I feel like the nail techs don't have enough time to work carefully, which has led to mistakes. The last time I came in, my nail tech accidentally cut me a little. It wasn't too bad, so I didn't think much of it. Unfortunately, when I came in today, I was cut again, but this time it was much worse. My finger is now swollen and hurts. I've also noticed that the filing and buffing can be pretty rough. Considering my set cost $85, I would expect a little more care and attention during the appointment. I'm including a photo of how my finger was cut for reference. I honestly wish I didn't have to leave this review because I do enjoy coming here, but I hope this feedback helps bring attention to these issues so they can be improved.

crystal nails is the best! I have been coming here for quite a while, somewhere more than 6 times. And each time they have completed each nail design I bring them. There was only once where the specialist was a little hesitant due to the stones needed for the design. But I appreciate the honesty and the quick alternatives they offered and it came out even better. my winning factor is when they are taking off old polishing or prepping the nail THEY ARE SUPER SOFT. My old nail girl would cut me and here at crystal nails they are very meticulous and careful, I cannot emphasize how careful they are with filing. The vibe is super cute with the decor and calm. if you want to watch a certain tv/yt video they are quick to offer you the remote. I came to this location because my original salon was busy. Thanks to yelp, I found this location and decided to give it a try. The employees do not speak English very well, but they are very accommodating by using Google translate and answer every question I have. The service was amazing, she took her time with my nails and feet and made sure each finger and toes were done with perfection. I had regular polish for my feet and I got gel for my nails. I have to say, if you've been getting your nails done at a typical American or Vietnamese salon, you really need to experience Crystal Nails. One of my frustrations before visiting was, "Why can't they shape my nails beautifully? Is it because my nails aren't pretty?" Every single experience I've had with Crystal Nails has been amazing. I came in on a whim one day when I needed to get a gel mani/pedi. I've always gotten regular gel nails, but Kiki and Annie really turned me into a lover of Japanese gel nails. They last wayyy longer, have never chipped, and last until you simply want a new color. While the Japanese nail gels are slightly more expensive they have also lasted much longer, making it well worth the slight splurge. read more

My manicure was a portable footsoaker and I only soaked in between taking my feet out for service. I had to use a small stool to place my feet upon. (I was too embarrassed to take a photo!) I had to ask for a second pillow because it was hard on my, just massaged back from Alibaba Foot Spa &Massage. One young lady was "doing" my feet while thr second one worked on my nails.(‍ use your mind to visualize how awkward that was and how I was sitting. 4. The young lady that was working on my feet did a great job, I must say as far as cleaning up my toes with filing and cutting, etc. 5. The young lady that was working on my fingers, I'm not sure what and how the communication went wrong. We struggled with understanding gel polish for my nails and regular polish for my toes. It also didn't help that she could not understand English very well. I wasn't bothered until she lost all communication about my nails. I was waiting for her to pull out nails, as I asked when called. However when I ask where were the nails to apply with the gel polish, I was told that they would cost $75 contrary to the $50 charge originally given. At the checkout, I pull out my credit card to pay for the "limited services" and was told the charge was $50 ($30 for feet and $20 for cleaning my nail cuticles. But no gel or nails! 7. Lastly, a third young lady informed that they only take cash, Zelle, or Venmo! Mind you when I called and arrived, it was never told to me the form of payments. Probably because when I arrived, the young ladies seemed a bit discombobulated and I pray it wasn't because of my skin!! The service received was NOT close to being fair! And to think that I used Google to find them and they had a 4.6 review and was 3 minutes from my wonderful Massage...remember I was in need of Self-care! I missed one review from Layla 3 years ago, "If you aren't of Asian descent don't come here!" This is troubling if you are in the nail industry and can only do "one" race. Let that be known on the front end and not after unspeakable service and charges!
