First time and definitely will not go back. First the place is messy, not organized well, they have random stuff just out not put away properly, just looks messy. Second, Since when did manicures become waterless? I have never had a soak-less manicure and i don't care for it. The Gel manicure was nice but not satisfied with the use of just nail drill and no actual tools. I asked for deep cuticle cut and My honest opinion about just using the file drill over the classic tools and water bowl , is that's laziness and not proper nail care. Now for the pedicure, i asked specifically for a deep cuticle cut, all the nails cut on the sides and expressed pain on one particular nail. Definitely did not listen to my request, she seemed to just pass over each toe nail quickly doing the bare minimum. I had to stop her before the color and asked to go over some obvious areas. Would not recommend I had been going to this salon for Gel-X extensions regularly for 5 months, spending over $100 each visit (my most expensive set was $180). Eight days after that $180 set, one nail completely fell off with no pain. Anna said she didn't know why it happened, booked me three days later to fix it, and charged me $20. Four days after the repair (about two weeks after the original set), 9 out of 10 nails were lifting from the sides. Again, Anna said she didn't know why and initially told me to come back in three days. I explained I was concerned about moisture and possible fungus, and suddenly she had availability the same day. That was frustrating. When I arrived, Anna didn't examine my nails or apologize. Another tech removed and reapplied a new set, and I was charged $80. Within two weeks, I had spent $280 total. I was only given a $20 gift card. Eleven days later, my thumb nail fell off again. When I reached out, Anna once more said she didn't know why. After spending hundreds of dollars here, I'm very disappointed with how this was handled. The customer service was poor, and I would not recommend this salon. read more

I would highly recommend going somewhere else that is upfront and honest and isn't trying to upsell you. The nail technician Lia her colleague were trying to charge me more than what already comes with the pedicure... Telling me that callus removal would be extra when it was already included in the $60 that they had displayed on their menu & when I pointed it out to them multiple times that it was already included in the menu they had displayed. She tried to tell me that she wouldn't charge me for the callus treatment... & of course I pointed out yet again that it was ALREADY included in the pedicure which they have listed on their menu's Not to mention, not getting all the services that come with the pedicure service. I have been coming here for a couple of years already and Anna and her team all provided the same great quality of work. I always love the way my gel manicure comes out. One thing for sure I do want to point out after all the years I've been coming here the cleanliness of the place has gone down and is something I'm disappointed in. It doesn't seem like they sanitize the tools properly or have dusted off all the nail dust in along time. I have been coming here for the last 4 times and don't plan on switching any time soon. I have always been satisfied with and impressed by the quality of service & work received. My nails were always well taken care of and they felt really protected even when I was concerned they are getting too thin. Yes, quality does come with a price so be prepared. Yesterday, there was an incident with a transient that escalated into us having to call the cops. Luckily the owner, Anna, was able to lock the door in time and nothing happened to any of us. It was during closing hour and despite all of this, I was still provided quality service. I was impressed by how Anna handled the situation so professionally. Most of the nail techs speak Chinese and very little English but don't worry, you can always use google translate and Anna will also do her best to communicate with you in English (regardless of who is doing your nails) so you will leave with perfect nails. I think they did a really good job with the nails that I wanted. I came by, called before to see if they had availability that day and I was able to be accommodated. I ended up getting regular polish for my pedi and gel x extensions for my hands. The girl who did my nails did a phenomenal job- they were GORGEOUS. They ended up staying solidly for 2.5 weeks, and 2 of those weeks I was trekking across Italy, hiking through forests, digging for truffles and schlepping my MASSIVE bag from city to city down the coast, including lifting bags into trains, in overhead bins, and up many many stairs. I even lifted in them, so considering that, the 2.5 weeks is pretty good. I do want to say that they hurt a little in the beginning. They gel x extension they used was really narrow, and she had to push them on my nail to cure. My nail beds were wider and less curved, and she still pushed them on, so when she let go, my natural nail felt like it was being squeezed on the sides. I'm not a fan of that at all. I was able to get used to it, but that wasn't comfortable. I also have a high pain tolerance. keep this in mind. When I was getting the pedicure, another girl was digging at the edges of my toe nail bed really deep and it was actually hurting. I've gotten my pedicure numerous times and I've never had it hurt like that. She said because I have an ingrown toenail. I do not have an ingrown, nor did I ever. So because of that, both of my big toes and one of my small ones were sore for a few days. She was also overall kind of rough. Besides this issue the resulting end was gorgeous. I think next time I would tell them not to use those gel x or see if they have anything else as well as tell them to be gentle with my feet. read more

I used to do Japanese gelX or a hard gel overlay all the way in Pasadena but I live in Torrance. It became too expensive as my nail artist became IG famous and started increasing her rates to be $90 or higher so I have been meaning to find someone else who does JUST as wonderful of job with precision and designs. This nail salon I believe is not Japanese but Chinese. I had Eva do my nails today and although she can't speak English very well she was extremely gentle and patient as I couldn't settle on a nail color. She also just did such a beautiful job.
