Later he changed his story and said it was because I didn't leave a deposit, which I was completely fine with, but that was never mentioned in any of our conversations before. We will not be needing your services. I found the Thin Shade on Amazon in less than 2 minuets but was waiting to see if your company would have one in stock before I ordered it. 6 days it took for your final response and that was shaky at best by not really knowing what my Wolf Pup came with, needed or even basic functions of it. Here is a brief recap of a few notable issues we encountered with Krenek RV... -MANY questions left unanswered at our "Orientation" that your staff did not have answers for. I had to contact Forest River directly to find out what options did, like solar prep and Juice Pack. -Unit was a mess inside, not swept, damaged door, metal shavings and sawdust everywhere. We had to clean it completely before using it. Battery box 3/4 full of water, yet Bruce told us a new battery was just installed before we got there. -The extremely slow response time from your dealership is unimaginable. You can learn a lot from The Outpost RV and how customer service is handled. They earned my business with their knowledgeable and quick responses, also to mention better pricing including a $79.99 winterize vs your $180. I would not trust that your company would do a complete job based on my experience. So, I will be driving 1.5 hours each way to have The Outpost RV install the additional solar panel, winterize, and complete a warranty repair on the leaky faucet that was missed by your company at preparation for my delivery (WHICH I PAID $390 for an unclean, under inspected unit). We would appreciate a refund of the $390 we were mandated to pay. read more

We are first time buyers and after years of renting decided to make the move to owners. Ordered an oil filter for my generator. I specifically requested a filter made by Onan, the brand of my generator. Went to pick it up, got it home and opened it. The box said Onan, but inside the box was a knock-off filter from Mexico. NOT a happy camper! Called them and they did not offer any refund or reduction in price and said they did not know that their Onan boxes had knockoffs inside them... read more

Don't recommend. We called about what seemed to be an easy issue. They walked me thru checking this over the phone with no luck. We talked to the manufacturer of the part, with written instructions which also didn't work. Set an appointment a few weeks out. We took the camper in when time - and was told they were behind schedule and wouldn't be able to uphold our appointment day. (Not the first time this has happened) They called the next day and said something was tripped, and it was not under warranty, and it is $165. We arrived to pick up - after trying to talk to the service schedule lady (not people-friendly) without any luck the mechanic had to talk to us and then shows us where the button is to push - which we did over the phone and multiple times trying to correct. The mechanic says he did basically nothing but push the button. WTF!?! And then we get the $165 bill for a mechanic who tells us to our face he just pushed the button. How unethical, how can you charge so much for so little. I understand it was a dumb fix (tho we pushed the button a 100 times) and you had to have a mechanic look at it for 15 minutes but come on - really? Not impressed - we have had multiple issues over the past few years and are stuck here essentially since we bought here, but not again. Please do yourself a favor and try somewhere else. read more

Went there to check out their inventory. Looked at a used motor home that had a beautiful interior but a bit of a rough exterior. When I asked about the cracking he gave me a lecture and told me that if I'm gonna worry about that kind of thing, I have no business buying used. I then asked him to show me a travel trailer and he refused. Said I came there asking about motor homes and I better figure out what I want. He said there's no comparing a motor home with a travel trailer. Believe me, I've owned both and I know what I want to see. We purchased a slightly-used Class C from CJ at Krenek, and the entire transaction was so easy. No pressure (unlike some other dealerships I visited) - the employees are all so nice and helpful! We're looking forward to some great adventures! (OK - the fact that they saved us a LOT of money was a bonus....LOL!) We've had a variety of RVs through the decades - our 2023 Thor is pretty amazing. I had gone there with some questions about how different parts of the RV worked (never had solar before - so glad to hear it simply handles itself!), and every one of them was answered clearly for me. It was nice to see the little add-ons that Thor includes, like a pick-up hose to make winterizing easy and fast. I will definitely be recommending Krenek to anyone we meet who's in the market for an RV! read more

Terrible, Terrible experience with Krenek!! Would HIGHLY NOT recommend. For start, 4 night minimum required. Made it 2 hours from Coloma and RV breaks down. Waited 6 hours for second RV to meet up with us, (which was a different style than we ordered) the second RV drop off immediately crashed into a sign and ripped off the AC unit. (This was the drivers doing, not ours) Had 2 wait an additional 6 hours for the 3RD!!!!!!! RV to be delivered at midnight. Ruined our entire weekend. No response to emails, no returned phone calls. Never purchased anything from these folks but was impressed with their hospitality. During COVID, two other businesses were quasi shutdown. I was impressed w/ how this business accommodated my request regardless of zero financial benefit for them. I would do business with these folks if I lived in this area. This will be my 4th year renting from them. My experience has been amazing every time. Kathy is the nicest Person you'll ever meet she handles all of rental details. She emails and keep you updated with any changes. I drive 2 hours just to get the RV from them. Their prices and reasonable and fair. Will always come back and rent from Kernek Rv. read more

Avoid this place! The owner's son and the service manager both don't know the first thing about CUSTOMER service! They said they would repair our 2020 RV floor where it was cut about 4" (they supposedly inspected it before selling it?!?!), but instead, did a crappy patch job that is extremely noticeable and lousy workmanship! The owner's son mocked me when I asked when his dad would be out of a meeting. His response - "tomorrow", and then he and the so-called service manager laughed. Worst experience my wife and I have ever had from any business ever. The owner is very rude and obnoxious to his employees . Customers are second class . And he will tell you that. With in five minutes he seceded in losing a sale on a new winnebago rv and over 1000.00 spent on aftermarket goods. Spent three hours in the dealership waiting to do the walk thru on the rv. After finding out there was a issue with the hitch that was recommended by them . Don't ask any questions, take what he says to do , don't worry that his solutions will void the warranty. Just take it or you will get yelled at and experience belittling. Stay away from that place. read more

Worst experience ever. I couldn't get anyone to help me. When I finally did I asked some questions about the rv I was interested in that he had to go find out the answers for. i waited a 1/2 hour and he never returned. I finally went to find someone else and when I left the rv I was interested in the salesperson I was waiting for showed up with another customer to look at the unit and sold it to them. I know this because I was waiting outside their office building as I was again waiting for someone one to help me. I can't even say how furious I am. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. Stay away!!! The owner has the worst customer service. We were renting a class A had a pick up time set for 11 and waited 3 hours to get it because they were fixing something on it. A call ahead would have been greatly appreciated to let us know the delay. Finally, get to do the walk through and the back up camera wasn't working then driving down the highway the door was rattling and the wiper came off in the middle of rain storm. We were close to Krenek we went back to get these fixed and talk to them. The rental department was very helpful but when talking to the owner he lied to me at first and told me he was a supervisor and then I was explaining the situation and he walked way from me and was very rude. I have never encountered a business owner be so rude before especially when the situation was the fault of the business. This RV should have been checked over before letting it off the lot. The rental department refunded our money after a long discussion and being insulted by the owner. Unfortunately, that didn't help our 13 hour drive to reach our destination. We quickly had to find a back up plan. This is worst experience ever and definitely not a good start to a vacation. read more

We brought our motorhome to Krenek RV for de-winterization and clean up, and we're charged $200 up front by the young kid at the counter before looking at it. We left a long detailed list of instructions we wanted done, per their instructions, and agreed upon getting it back by end of July for a trip. They held onto our Motorhome for 4 weeks, never gave us a call, status update, or even an estimate. We called them, but every time we called they were "very busy with rentals" and would claim to get back to us but never did. We were then suggested to schedule an outside company to come in a clean our RV. Which we did, using their recommended vendor, who never showed up to do the work either. At week 5/6, we decided to pull our motorhome out of there to find another service center to do the work. They said they understand, and gave us our keys back but would let me know on the $200. When we inspected our RV, all our quarters for toll change were missing and the glove box was rifled thru. Obviously, they are not a service center, and only appear to be in business for money with doing as little amount of work as possible. read more
