The service and workers are rude and unprofessional. The quality of the food had also decreased. For my money I expect good service. Dine elsewhere if you feel the same. I been to this establishment a couple of times, I always say I'm not going back due to the rudeness, I'm not Haitian so I'm not familiar with all the dishes, but the ones I had are delicious, the two times I went and ask them what something was, the attitude you get from the servers is ridiculous, they really make you feel like your annoying them. you guys really need to do better. This spot is one of the best Haitian restaurants on this side of town. Food is very tasty and the pikliz is made from scratch and it's delicious! Everything is made fresh but make sure you get there before sunset cause they do run out of food quickly. Customer service needs some polishing but if you're hungry that shouldn't matter. read more

This place use to be one of the best Haitian restaurants in LI but now BOTH the food and customer service is terrible. Went on a couple occasions just to not be biased but both times food was dry and didn't taste fresh. To top that off the workers were so impatient & rude. Awful awful awful customer service what happened to this place there so slow and take there time with orders your litterally standing in line for over 10 mins while one lady is putting chicken in a plate for a customer and the other lady is just sitting down staring at her finger nails. And why every time after they make one order they walk in the back and dissapear for 2 minutes then ask you "yeah what do you want it's like they don't care about the business it's like here forced to come here and serve you. I use to come here alot when it was creole buffet and the food was great but now with the new management. The lady is rude. Asked for banan peze and griot, it was cold, the banan was hard. The servers were nice and patient and was really fast. Most Haitian restaurants are slow and make you wait to place your order, and to complete the order, like they were doing you a favor. Im sorry but creole buffet fell off big time since 2015. The shortest young server that is always smiling is the main nicest server they have that's professional and delivers perfect service every single time, but thats it. I went there to buy a couple of plates of food two weeks ago they over charge me. I think the waiter knew that she over charge me. I didn't know that until I see the bill then I remember the way she reacted. Today I went back there to buy a plate of rice with griot.The lady put about 7 pieces of pork fat in the plate and charged me $9.00 for it. I don't know what kind of oil they are using because my stomach got upset after I eat the mais moulu. They need to start giving people enough food for their money. read more

I've been to this place so many times. The food ALWAYS smells like they make it the day before, and the taste is even worse because the food is spoiled. Akasan is the only thing not spoiled.
