Today was so weird! I had to get a small surgery and…read morecouldn't eat and felt all loopy and starving. The second I got the green light to eat I told my Dad to drive me right up the block from my Dr and straight here. I must have drove past this place hundreds of times and had never gone inside but as a foodie I will tell you right now- the only way to elevate the already perfect Peruvian cuisine- is to eat it while starving lol. They did NOT disappoint. Quarter chicken with rice and beans and a salad on the side (for $5 extra). No maduros. Im not sure if I'm ok with that but they had great sauces. They put a half an avocado on the salad that I had to skip bc of my allergy. And AND the chicken was PERFECT. Rice and beans is easy and they got it RIGHT! I wish they had some fresh juices or something to wash it all down but maybe they will read this and think about it. I didn't see a place to sit down and I parked right out from. Simple, easy good food in Elmont. 4/5 I would lightly recommend.

This place not so good - chicken had no taste at all needs seasonings I was better off getting a chicken at shop and stop. Beans no flavor either. Green sauce was vinegary and clumpy ordered yellow rice for the extra price and was given white rice..when i called the person on the phone knew they have me white rice instead of fixing it.

Glad that finally visited their new location in Long Island. It may not be the same location…read morevibes we get used in Queens but it has a different Long Island feels. Loving it as finding a parking spot is way easier aside from the fact that it has its own parking lot. Yay to that! When we walked in, sat down and served... I would say it still same Rincon vibes we get used to. Our wait staff even mentioned that they same all people working here both in management and staff. They kept all their original decorations , picture frames, table sets and was nice feeling to see it all here. Food still good, music is pleasant to the ears , service is impeccable. Will come back again. Would even recommend to family and friends living near the area.

What they offer include the slow-roasted pernil, rich Ropa Vieja, and the Cuban sandwich. Portions are generous, the cocktails (like mojitos and sangria) are excellent, and the lively atmosphere makes it a great spot for both casual dining and celebrations. They offer rich, comforting, and authentic Cuban flavors. Diners love the slow-roasted pork (pernil) and Ropa Vieja, which melt in your mouth. If you want something lighter, the Cubano sandwich on Long Island is frequently cited as a destination-worthy staple. The space feels warm and family-run, as what I may describe as stepping into an "abuela's house". The staff is highly attentive and offers great menu recommendations. It tends to get packed--especially on weekend evenings--but the lively vibe (including staff-led birthday songs) adds to the charm. I note that the pricing is moderate and reasonable for the high quality and generous portion sizes, frequently allowing diners to take home leftovers.
