I also got their butter chicken and it didn't really taste like butter chicken, more tomato than butter. I've had better butter chicken. They lost a lot of stars because I ordered a side of naan for two dollars and they gave me this tiny hard dry piece of naan. Great service and will make what you want if you know what you are looking for. I ordered shrimp biryani and it was delicious. Fresh and flavorful. I choose mild but I could definitely have done medium. Also, like the other review I am just happy to see Indian food in Washington township. ***Update*** I could not love this place more!!!! I had dinner with some friends from my women's hiking group. We all had amazing meals and the owner could not have been nicer. He helped my friend feel special for her birthday, were very understanding about the five no shows that they had put out seating for, a few separate checks and orders to go at the end of the meal. The dining room is so cozy and all of the staff are beyond friendly. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal! We've gotten take out a few times and it's always been delicious! Vindaloo, Curry, Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, Samosas, Naan. All great! It's all about the sauces and they are perfect. The new location is so cozy and cute. Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter chicken, Chicken Saagwala were all fantastic (fam liked the Butter Chicken the best). Chicken in the dishes was tender and well cooked. The spicy here isn't too spicy so medium spice was ok if you like a little heat but not too much. We had takeout, but the decor was nice and clean, and people were very friendly. I agree with the other reviewers. The food was excellent. I had a dish with lentils and my husband had a dish with lamb. We also ordered a bread. The servers were very friendly. Understandably they had a lot of third party take out orders, so the servers were divided between trying to serve the dine in customers AND the take outs. That seemed like a lot to manage. The decor is really nice and very clean. If they could dim the lights for evening dining that would be nice. It was very bright! read more

Best chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken we have ever had! The naan was buttery and crisp and absolutely delicious. What a comforting and heartwarming meal, especially during a rainstorm. Located in a shopping center, you'd be remiss to not visit Krish's. Absolutely a "hidden" gem. The decor and ambiance is perfect. My girlfriend and I went here on a whim, and the staff was attentive from the start without being overbearing. They even made us a dessert which we didn't see on the menu! The food was excellent. We started with veggie samosas - absolutely delicious with terrific presentation. We also had garlic naan which was great. She had lamb rogan josh and I had lamb kadai - both insatiable, steaming hot, and presented with care. For dessert they made us kheer! We'll definitely return. Wow! I was so excited to see there is finally an Indian restaurant here in Washington Township and guess what!...IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOD! They operate out of the Pelican's restaurant's space and only do takeout. We tried chicken vindaloo, butter chicken, chana masala and the garlic naan. They ask how spicy you want it and we chose medium for 2 dishes and mild for one. The medium spicy was pretty spicy but we enjoyed every bit. The mild was not too spicy and perfect for the no spice lover. We will definitely be going back and will urge our friends and family to give them a try as well. Delicious!!! read more

Incredible food! Tried for the first time tonight and can't wait to be back. I've never had Indian food until tonight. The gentleman who helped me when picking up my order was so kind and patient with my questions about the food since I've never had it. I got two items: Butter Chicken - Boneless chicken cooked in cream sauce. Aloo aur Papri Chat - Lentil wafers topped with potatoes, chick peas, yogurt, mint & tamarin. AMAZING! This was our first time here, we were looking for a lunch buffet. While I think $15pp is a lot, usually buffets have so much to offer we decided that was acceptable. Of 10 compartments only 7 were filled. We were asked upon being seated, were we getting the buffet and what type of naan we wanted? I was disappointed that we were also then charged for the naan and it wasn't part of the lunch price! The food was good though, just disappointed in the quantity of offerings, variety and the upcharge. We won't return. read more

We tried Krish's when they did just takeout during the pandemic and were so excited to try their dine in location!!! It's clean, modern, and beautiful with thoughtful touches everywhere. The service was attentive and nice too. Food was AMAZING and flavorful, even when ordering it mild. I got the lamb korma and my mom got the paneer masala along with the onion bhaji and garlic naan. Tonight was my second time ordering take out from Krish's in about 4 weeks. I wanted to give them a second try after the first meal. Both times I tried 2 vegetarian entrees, and all of the dishes were extraordinarily salty; almost to the point of being inedible. I really want them to succeed, because there are no other Indian restaurants around, but I can't continue eating their food unless they do something about the sodium content. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from here! We both had Tikka Masala and the vegetable Samosas. Both were excellent, chicken was tender and full of flavor. Will order again! It did take me a minute to find as it is within another restaurant (there is a banner, I just missed it!) but I called and they were very friendly and very personable during pickup. My husband and I found this gem through Yelp and were glad that the glowing reviews did not overstate. We began with the Paneer Pakora appetizer, which came with two dipping sauces ; for entrees, my husband had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and I had one of the vegetarian options (forgetting the name), which were served with a generous pot of basmati rice; and we shared an order of garlic naan. Everything, and I do mean everything, was so delicious that we ordered another entree (butter chicken) to bring home to our daughter who promptly enjoyed that as well. Though we had finished our rice in-restaurant, they offered us a free box of rice to bring home with our leftovers- and we greatly appreciated that as well. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Note to credit card payers: they do charge 3% for paying with any card (including a debit card- we asked). Don't agree with that new custom of most establishments these days, but it is what it is. The food at Krish's was great. We ordered two tiffin box lunch specials. I tried two types of paneer (mutter paneer and paneer makhani), which were both great, and my friend tried chicken korma and mutter paneer. I would definitely recommend the paneer makhani. I also saw a review that was complaining about the amount of naan for a $2 side, but I would say that the naan was big, fresh, and delicious! Overall, I'm very happy that Washington Township has Indian cuisine and I hope this restaurant is very successful. read more
