Finally ... a good Indian restaurant in Glassboro! Not knowing what to expect, we made a reservation for 6 of us on a Friday night (which we obviously didn't need) and we were pleasantly surprised. Small place more suited for take-out, but a dozen or so cafeteria-style tables to dine in. They had set up a nice table for us with a tablecloth runner ... but were nice enough to move us to a much larger one by pushing 2 tables together when we asked and even went out to buy a wine bottle opener that we needed. Everyone really enjoyed their meals including the Chicken Vindaloo, Goat Saagwala, Egg Dosa, Chicken Saagwala ... along with the Chicken Curry and Baigen Bharta (eggplant) that DH and I shared. All entrees could also be made to be as spicy as you wanted and we found the medium to be just the right amount of heat while still being able to taste our food. The garlic/butter naan came out warm with 4 pieces each that were a perfect accompaniment. Definitely a good find ... despite now having to pay to park on the streets of Glassboro (more a hassle than costly at only $1-2). We'll be back soon and maybe try takeout next time!

Rohan's is PERFECT. EVERYTHING is perfectly spiced and gorgeous. It's elegant, perfect hospitable service and the food as they say in Persian will truly nourish your soul! Can't wait to return again soon! They have north and South Indian food, HALAL, vegetarian. I've been multiple times! Glassboro has the best Indian food I've ever had in a restaurant!

I did not have a good experience here at all. I thought that the paper dosa was really good know when I started eating it. The chutney were horrible, and the Sam bar was horrible. The paper dosa. I asked him to put the potato on the side, but they did not she takes age just to walk up and down. Food was not at all good quality for me. It's a big no no I would not recommend anybody.

The food was really good! I've gone 3 times and gotten different things every time. So far my favorite was the chicken curry and samosas, but I've liked everything I've ordered and the tastes I had of my friends' dishes too

The first thing that hit me when I entered this small, quaint little establishment was I felt like I was transported back to Mayberry of the 50's and 60's. Breakfast is served all day, and my western omelette with home fries, English muffins and crusty scrapple were delicious with my coffee and tomato juice. I guess the atmosphere lends to the friendliness of the patrons, who seem like neighbors you've known forever, especially the young toddler in a high chair I was playing peek a boo with around the partition that separated our booths. The little gem is a very inexpensive treat.

In historic fashion, they only take cash! There were a few booths that were taken so if you want to eat it time it right. Plenty of stools available also. Ordered an egg breakfast and French toast. One of the griddles is in front so you can watch them cook. Service was fast, waitress helped each other. Food didn't have much flavor. Check your order before if you get take out. . .they forgot the cheese I requested for my eggs. Would visit again and try a special.

Out of all of my visits, my favorite is the weekend brunch menu. There are so many yummy things to choose from like the breakfast burrito, the banana Forester French toast, the various of Benedict's including crab, and there were a bunch of various breakfast sandwiches, but the most menu appealing one that I liked is the pork roll. On my last trip I wound getting a chicken brie apples bacon on brioche bread. It was a special of the day. From the moment I bid into it, I knew I would love it for the savoriness, the crisp and sweet tasting bread. There was a side of potatoes... Very nicely seasoned and the perfect crunch to them. On my last visit, it was a total of 10 people in our group and the customer service was great. We were all able to pay with separate checks... Always a perk. The waiter was super super friendly and kept our coffee refills going. Inside it is busy which could lead away from the quiet ambience, but I didn't mind it at all.

Former home vibe, i was one of the earliest weekday diners. Since it a solo dinner, I opted for a few sides: Kimchi rice Cucumber salad Brussel sprouts (no meat or butter) The cucumber salad was so good, I ordered a second portion!! The tofu burnt ends and bbq jack fruit sounded so intriguing that I almost begged the kind server to ask the chef if they could serve a side portion. Otherwise the bbq is served in pound increments. For my lucky tummy, they obliged and wow those are both delicious vegan options! Maybe next time, i will visit here earlier during my trip to be able to take home leftovers. Booth was cozy and love that water bottle to refill my glass is on my table which sounds weird but I drink alot of water! Small place , would recommend reservations for weekend dining. Parking lot was limited too. Enjoy!

The menu had so many options that all sounded great, so making a decision was difficult, but in a good way. We split two of the special apps that night; Boom Boom Shrimp and Crab on Crack. The Shrimp came out in a edible bowl with greens, fried noodles, and of course the sauce. It was really good and the sauce wasn't that spicy for you non-heat people. The Crab was a small crab cake, pineapples, and pepper on a crispy delicate puffed cracker (not sure how it was made). That was my favorite of the night. I jokingly said that next time I'd just order five of them for my dinner. For out main courses, my wife had the Thai Crab Cakes and our friends had the Pad Thai and Chu Chee Salmon. All of them thought their meals were great. I had the Evil Jungle Princess, which I must admit was partly because of the name, with shrimp. It had two pepper icons next to it on the menu which I've found in some places to be very hot. However, the spice level was perfect; just the right amount of heat. The dish itself was delicious and I'd recommend it. The place itself is very nice inside. The service was very good. It's a byob which is a nice option, but they also took the time to refill our water glasses whenever they got low. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back.

Sometimes the simplest places are the ones that end up impressing you the most…read more Steak Out has been around forever, and after finally stopping in, I completely understand why. From the outside it looks like your classic neighborhood cheesesteak shop, but once you walk inside you're greeted by a surprisingly warm, rustic dining room filled with old license plates, wood accents, and just enough local character to make you want to sit down instead of grabbing your food and leaving. I ordered a cheesesteak, and this thing was absolutely loaded. Not one of those sandwiches where half the roll is empty--every bite was packed with tender, finely chopped steak. The meat was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and the cheese was melted throughout instead of just sitting on top. Sometimes cheesesteaks try to get fancy with a hundred toppings. This one proves you don't need any of that when the basics are done right. The surprise of the meal, though, was dessert. I figured I'd finish with a slice of cheesecake, expecting something ordinary. I was wrong. It was rich, creamy, and the perfect way to end the meal. It's the kind of dessert that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. Service was friendly, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere felt comfortable--exactly the kind of place you could bring family, grab lunch with coworkers, or stop by after a long day. South Jersey has no shortage of places claiming to have a great cheesesteak, but Steak Out has earned its reputation. When you combine generous portions, quality ingredients, a welcoming dining room, and a fantastic dessert, it's easy to see why this place has been a local favorite for so many years. This definitely won't be my last visit. There's still plenty left on the menu I want to try, but one thing is certain--the cheesesteak alone is worth the trip.
