We dined here with a large family group on a Friday evening. The location is in suburbs north of Salt Lake City. They share a large parking lot with other businesses. It looks like they may have a cafeteria-style lunch buffet, but for dinner it is table service. Our party of 5 adults and 2 children got a large table. The staff was extra attentive and tried to keep the kids satisfied. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, along with naan and rice. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food (various curries, etc.). The only minor negative was the heat - it was quite hot outside and they had to bring in a fan to keep our area cool (which worked). They do not offer beer / wine. If I lived in the area, I'd consider returning here. read more

Right now with construction going on it's a little difficult to get into the parking lot. But once you get in the food makes up or any inconvenience on the road. The surface is amazing. Everything is made fresh when you order. The service is top notch. This is a family ran business and the care and love you get when ordering really shows through. My son and I went for lunch here this week. It is excellent!! My son had the malai kofta and he loved it. I had a lunch combo that consisted of chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, rice, naan and a small dessert. I was blown away by the amount of food for the price ($12). Everything was delicious. The service was so kind. I will say they are making everything fresh for you so it does take a little bit of time to get your food but it is WELL worth it. read more

Me and my son went there tonight for dinner and the food was good. The service was ok. I decided to add a fountain drink and drank the first one, asked for more, then when we were leaving I asked for another refill and then paid my bill. I didn't notice the charge for drinks at that tim, until I started walking out the door. The fountain drink was $4 for a small mug of soda, the charge was for 3 sodas....$8.97. I believe that he should have at least said refills are NOT FREE, you will be charged for each refill. Unbelievable ! Yup, this little cafe works magic with its dishes. The place has changed names a couple of times but the same people seem to be working here and serve up some cracking food. The butter chicken was so fresh and yummy - I could taste the tomatoes. This was not my order of the day but I stole spoonfuls x10 without remorse or shame. I regret not getting one to go but that's because it might be stolen back. I shall go by myself this coming week. Quiet but steady business while we dined so dashers were in and out. Not the best Indian Food in Weber/Davis County! Order a chicken dish and they use Costco's chicken nuggets in their preparation. I didn't care for the spices, like there wasn't any. Mango milk shake consisted of milk and mango.....where was the ice cream. It left a lot to be desired. Over priced for what you get. I would not recommend going back. First visit since they changed the name. Tried one of my standbys, chicken biryani. To their credit, they asked how spicy I wanted it, and upon hearing that I wanted it extra hot, they asked if I wanted it American Extra Hot or Indian Extra Hot. I got the Indian Extra Hot, but I'm not sure they believed that I had had it that way many times before. The host and one other staff member checked on me throughout the meal, not smiling, but looking worried and asking how everything was. The host also made sure I knew about the yogurt they had provided to cut down on the spice. I'm sure they meant well. Maybe they often have guests that get in over their heads. So this was our Doris visit to this establishment. When I told my wife where we were going she just said ok. The place is small with a lot to the typical Indian decorations you would expect. When we arrived we arrived we were told to sit where ever we liked. We were served water immediately and asked if we would like any other drinks. So, we started with the veg samosa filled by garlic naan. I ordered the shrimp vindaloo and my wife ordered the chicken tikka Marsala. I asked if they had mixed pickles as they were not on the menu. Yes they had them. My shrimp were great and the sauce was very good. My wife loved her chicken so much that she brought home the leftovers. Next time I will order mine very spicy. So great service and great food. Will we go back. That is a big YES. One of the best Indian restaurants we have found in the area. Had the #3 combo for lunch. Although the portions were a bit small the food was very tasty. Plating could be better as they are using metal lunch trays but not sure if that's because it just opened. Service was very personable and attentive. Ambience seemed a little like a fast food dining area but was very clean and quiet. Krishna express is a family-run indian cuisine shop. Very authentic flavors! Wife and I have been multiple times and have had nearly everythign on the menu. The Medium spice is actually medium. If you dont like spice get "no spice" and enjoy all the flavors! Butter Chicken is classic but lamb is so tender. Garlic Naan is amazing. The ambiance is always pleasant and the shop is always clean. You will undoubtedly meet the owner and his wife, they are very friendly and will often chat about the food, the local shops, and answer any questions. My only regret is i run out of stomach before i run out of food. Simply delicious! read more

I love Indian food, I love the flavors and spices. So when I found out about this place I had to come try it. A colleague of mines told me to come and try it because she enjoyed it. So, the customer service is amazing; the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable and informative. They actually remember your name and your favorite dish and that's something I really liked about this place. The food; wow! Delicious, flavorful and just down right tasty. So far I have been here 4 times and I can definitely say the food is the best. The naan bread is delicious; I have tried all of their naan breads and you can tell they are fresh and delicious! I definitely love how the food taste and the smells are amazing. I love spicy food so I always get it spicy and they never disappoint. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and calming and welcoming. They definitely know how to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is because they give you small portions, I feel for the amount of money you are spending, we should get more food. That's my opinion, I understand prices and food has gone up, and I don't mind paying for the food, but i should definitely get more food for the amount you have to pay. They happily welcomed and served our family (seven young kids) even though we showed up 30-40 minutes before closing. We had butter chicken, tikka masala, coconut korma and curry. All delicious and the garlic naan is excellent - more dense/moist and chewy than you'll usually find. The prices are a bit lower than other (fancier) restaurants in the area but we care more about the food, which is fantastic. Finally stopped by here after driving by numerous times. Wow! We should have stopped in weeks ago! Fabulous food! We are not Indian food connoisseurs, but the food we had was delicious! I had the curry chicken medium spice, and my spouse had another amazing dish called Korma (sp?). Both dishes were outstanding. The temperature of the dishes was perfect, and everything was fresh. This place is great. I have tried several dishes here and every one was delicious. Serving sizes are plentiful. The garlic naan is soft and warm. Butter chicken and the coconut korma are our favorites. The samosas were also done very well. My wife can't eat anything hotter than ketchup so the mild version is a must for her but you can also kick it up a notch on the spice. The only thing I can suggest is to have a smaller portioned lunch menu. The meal can get a bit pricey but the food delivers. A lighter lunch fare would be an amazing addition. Well, I asked for spicy and it tastes like Campbell's tomato soup with seasoning, and it's very soupy as well. It's pretty bland and they added a couple raw pieces of onion and bell pepper. Barely any meat in the dish, and garlic naan was thin and burnt. I suspect my rice was microwaved by the off texture. Will I return? Nope.
