This has been one of my favorite restaurants in the oxford area since I was a collegiate. It was a big comfort food for me during finals, and now it just brings back warm memories. The menus seems to have expanded! This is a great place to bring friends and family and a bonding experience. As you can split the dishes/appetizers; you get SO MUCH food! It's a beautiful cultural experience with the music playing, and beautiful artwork in the vicinity.

    Lamb Biryani

Worst Indian food I've ever had. I ordered the lamb biryani, it was basically white rice mixed with a sauce that was obviously made separately and then mixed in and the spices tasted nothing like a lamb biryani. It was more like they mixed white rice with a bad tikka masala and added some tough lamb and vegetables.

Simply the best Indian in Oxford. They have only been open for a few months now and it seems they are getting more fans by the day. The food is so delicious. They have one main chef that cooks everything, he is very kind and loves to get compliments. One big reason that I go here are the prices. During the week they have a fantastic lunch special. If you havent been there, go, you won't regret it.

    Not great malai kofta
    Alice K.

Disappointing. First time as we just moved here and I was pleased to see a good veg menu. I ordered Malai Kofta - one of my favorites - for lunch $13! - and the kofta balls were clearly microwaved and part was hard and the other part tasted like freezer burn. It came with a huge portion of spicy but not tasty Malai sauce. Too bad. My biggest suggestion would be to make a lunch menu! Smaller portions with rice, a few pieces of nana, a little salad and drink and a small halva dessert for $10. Then the kofta could be fresh cause there would be a lot of business!

One of my favorite places to eat in oxford. Try the Chicken Tikka Masala and an order of the Garlic Naan.

Amazing Indian food. This is my favorite restaurant in Oxford. Slightly pricey but worth the price. The garlic naan is incredible.

Good authentic Indian cuisine for a decent price. I recommend getting paneer or samosas as an appetizer and share an entree.

The food is good. I had the chicken curry at a number four. Was more then enough to fill me up. But the price for what I got was very high.

We returned to Little India to celebrate our youngest son Taz turning 16…read more This was not our first visit. We keep coming back because the food is consistently good. My son ordered the chicken tikka masala with a spice rating of 3. It had great flavor and just the right amount of heat. Rich sauce and generous portions. He paired it with regular naan and a mango lassi. The naan came out warm and soft. The mango lassi was cold, smooth, and refreshing. I ordered the chicken tandoori with cheese naan and a Coke. I went with spice level 1, which was mild and still full of flavor. The chicken had a nice grilled taste and stayed juicy. The cheese naan was excellent. We also grabbed two bottles of water. The total bill came to about $60. For a family dinner with good portions, that felt very reasonable. Service was friendly and the food came out hot. The relaxed atmosphere made it easy to enjoy the evening and celebrate a milestone birthday. A solid spot in Oxford when you want good Indian food and a welcoming place to celebrate.

This place is legitimately great Indian food. Now, I've never been to India, but I've eaten a lot…read moreof Indian food, so I'm at least half-eligible to comment. I'm just saying: The flavor is real. The portions are a good size, they'll spice it up for you or keep it chill, and they've got a lot of options on the menu. I do wish they had more bread choices other than just naan, but whatever - it's not like I've got an Indian restaurant, so I've gotta take what I can get. The inside seems decent, and they had cricket on the TV last time I was in there which is a way better sport than baseball, so yeah. And if you just stop in and order and then carry it out, they're really quick, so you don't even have to wait that long. Just go next door to the smoke shop and look at all the weird stuff then come back over 10 minutes later and you've got your food.
