I was in the mood for some Indian comfort food and a quick search resulted in Brij Mohan so I decided to check it out. Here's my take on the experience: Quality of food: Good. I started out with Bhel Poori that comes with salty rice crispy mix with onions, tomatoes, green peppers topped with some tangy tamarind sauce. The Bhel Poori was perfectly crispy and enough to share with two people. For the entree, I got the Choley Bhature that came with chickpea curry served with two sourdough deep-fried breads with a side of onion salad. The chickpea curry was nice and hot and full of flavor. The Bhature were beautifully puffed and crispy. For drink I tried their mango lassi which was fresh and very satisfying. I didn't get to try any of the sweets as I was too full but they looked amazing. Décor: kinda meh. There isn't much decoration here but I think the food here makes up for it. Cleanliness: good. The tables were being kept clean. Service: good. You order at the counter and are given a buzzer that goes off when the food is ready. Price: reasonable. The Bhel Poori was around $5 and the Choley Bhature was around $10. If you're up for some authentic Indian food and sweets then checkout Brij Mohan.

Ordered the chole bhatura and enjoyed. Just felt like something was missing in the chole and the bhatura got hard kind of quick. The restaurant was nice and clean inside.

Friends of ours recommended this place so we stopped in for lunch. It's not a fancy place, especially from the outside. However, it's really good Indian food. And they are known for their sweet deserts. You order at the counter and you'll get a buzzer. When it buzzes it's time to go back to the counter & get your meal. We started with vegetable pakora. It came with 2 sauces, we both liked the red sweet sauce best. It was really good! Next I had Matar mushroom, and I asked for heat level 4 (out of 6.) it was served with rice on paper plates (with plastic tableware.) Now, given that, really enjoyed the meal and the heat was certainly up there. My son had the Matar paneer. Also served with rice on paper plates. He enjoyed it as well. We shared a garlic naan - 1 was large enough for us to share.

Delhi food represented here! I grew up in Delhi and miss the true Delhi/Punjab taste of food in United States as most Indian restaurants in US have a South Indian alignment or Gujarati alignment. The sooji puris used in paani puri took me down a memory lane! The samosa also is made very Delhi style. The spices and flaky crust reminds me of the samosa I ate growing up made by a local halwai. Special mention for the sweets! They have a great rasmalai, ladoo, cham cham etc. Definitely would recommend the food. From a service perspective, it's a self serve restaurant. You stand in line and place your order, pay at the counter and they give you a buzzer which goes off when your food is ready. You go grab your food, find a table and dispose off the dishes once you are done eating. Don't really look for a 'dining experience' in here. The down side of this format is even though the food is amazing, I will not bring my non-Indian friends here, or if I am looking to go out with friends, this will not be my place of choice.

My girlfriend told me to try this when I told her I'd be in the Cincy area for work assignment. Nestled in a dumpy looking strip mall in Sharonville, Brij Mohan doesn't look much from the outside. It's when you see the parking lot full that you realize that it's popular. It's kind of interesting. Full vegetarian menu with prices like $10.99 for Malai Kofta, which is like 7-8 dollars cheaper than the Malai Kofta in Columbus. And good, if not better quality. Service is not there. You have to order, get a pager, and then pick your order. Water, napkins, plates, bowls are self serve. Oh yeah, all paper plates and plastic silverware. I hate, hate this. Seriously, just hire a couple dishwashers and get proper plates and silverware. Now to the food-- it's worth coming here. The food, nicely spiced, and plentiful. It's just quality Punjabi food by Punjabi food. You can't beat the price. And the samosas? Bomb. Don't go home without taking some samosas to go. Come here... weep inside for the paper and plastic but enjoy this food. Ambiance? Bare bones. I think it was "to go" for a while before dining in was back. But, they're into catering and take out more, I think.

Very reasonable pricing. The dahi poori and pani poori was fantastic and had great flavor. The chai was ok, nothing special. Will definitely need to come back and try the other stuff!

I had seen some pictures indicating that the place was running takeout-only at some point, but was surprised that this was still the case even when I visited over two years after the first COVID lockdowns. I'm not sure why; it's not like any of the people here were wearing masks (nor would they need to), but I don't get why this place hasn't reopened. And it wasn't just that; they also didn't have any breads, which I would have hoped would be a highlight. The chickpeas I did end up getting were richly spiced and definitely worthwhile even without bread. The chai I got was not overly sweet and had a nice spice blend. I eyed the desserts, but for whatever reason I have not found many Indian desserts that I really like and I didn't get any here. Hard for me to say what's going on and a lot of businesses are struggling, but they didn't fulfill quite as many of my needs as I'd hoped. At least the food I was able to get was good, but I wondered if I should have gone somewhere else, sat down, and ordered off a full menu.

I visited Brij Mohan for the second time. I was surprised to see that their dine-in was still closed. Anyway, what I bought and how it tasted is rated below: Dahi vada: 5/5 Gol gappay: 3/5... the Chana/potato mix was quite little and the water was way over spicy... though I'd asked for medium. Mixed mithai: 5/5 for gulabjamun, kal Akins and chamcham. 3/5 for Doda halwa.. too hard n dry Jalebi: 5/5.. best I've had in USA!

I LOVE this place…read more They may single-handedly have the best margaritas in town. Tasty and strong -- just how I like them. Every time I go, the drinks are consistent and well-balanced, and they don't skimp. I usually pop in for a quick happy hour with friends or former coworkers, and it's perfect for that. So far I've had the deviled eggs and the potato latkes, and both were really good -- great little bites to pair with a margarita. The vibes are super cute, cozy, and welcoming. I cannot wait until the weather warms up so I can sit out on the patio -- it's going to be such a whole mood. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. Pro tip: if you get there around 4:30-5:00 PM, you typically won't have much of a wait. If you're in Blue Ash and want strong margaritas, cute vibes, and easy happy hour energy -- this is your spot.

Our server brought all three food dishes out at the same time, which we could not even fit on the small table without taking off some things to put on the bench next to me. The soup was tasty, but mostly large cubes of bread with practically no cheese at all. The Croque Madame had no discernible cheese on it at all. The worst part: we each requested a coffee refill (one was never offered), and our server poured half of my friend's topped up coffee directly from her cup into my cup! I was so shocked that I was speechless. To top off this incredible faux pas, she split the check into two without asking, and I was treating my friend. Instead of bringing a new check as I requested, she had me sign her tablet that just showed the total, with no breakout, had me fill in her tip, and then walked away with neither asking me if I wanted a receipt, which of course I did, nor providing me with one. The coffee thing was so gross and unsanitary that I never shall return.

The food comes out as it is ready which is so nice. They have a huge menu, something for anyone who loves dumplings, buns, and traditional dishes. We shared the pork soup dumplings (so so delicious) the broth was flavorful and the filling was plentiful. We also had the fried pork buns which are little fluffy packages of heaven. The best lunch I have ever had and it was incredibly inexpensive. In today's world to find food you can watch being prepared from scratch and it's a very good bang for your buck is rare! We left around 1:30 and the restaurant was pretty full. It's popular and I know why. First, our server. Jennie was fantastic. She helped us with the menu, making sure we knew what the favorites were. This assistance was fantastic because there were about a gazillion options on the menu. We shared some Scallion Pancakes, which were quite tasty. Then the dumplings started to arrive. Here is where Corner Dumpling House lost their fifth star. Three bamboo boxes and one dish of dumplings were dropped off at the table. The gentleman who dropped them off didn't explain what anything was. As a result, we ate each other's food for a minute before we figured it all out. It didn't help that one serving of dumplings came out much later. We tried our best to identify which ones were what ended up being the missing dumplings. It would have gone a long way to have someone taken a minute to help us understand what was what. All that said, the food was outstanding. The Pork Wontons in Chili Oil were a standout and the Steamed Pork and Shrimp Soup Dumplings were also fantastic. The Triple Delight was just okay, but given how delicious the dumplings were, I couldn't subtract an another star for the mediocre Triple Delight. The restaurant is quite beautiful, which was a huge surprise given the restaurant is in a strip mall. Overall, our dining experience was relaxed and wonderful. If you like dumplings (house made/hand made dumplings) then get to Corner Dumpling House right away!
