Stopped in to grab the BOGO dozen for 16 cents and pick up some Easter donuts for the little ones. I can probably count on one hand how many times I've been to Krispy Kreme, so I was actually looking forward to this visit. I stood there for at least 5 minutes before being helped--and that was only after another customer pointed out that I had been waiting first. I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted yet, so I was just trying to see what was available. I'm pretty reasonable and could tell they might've been a little overwhelmed--it was around 9pm on a Friday night. But honestly... there were 3 staff inside, maybe 2 cars in the drive-thru, and I was the only person in the store. What was supposed to be a fun little side quest with my niece and nephew--letting them pick out their own donuts--ended up feeling rushed and brushed off. Hello, I placed an order on Friday, February 27th 2025 around 9:40. The order said pick up tomorrow at 6:15. I tried to go in person to cancel my order before they closed and I attempted to call the store 3 times before closing and was ignoring every time. I wasn't able to call till later on the next day around 9am which I had to call 3 times to finally receive an answer. At that point my order had already said completed on the application and I told the worker I did not pick up my order or send anyone to pick it up, at which point the employee basically started yelling at me, saying "that's no our fault, someone picked it up." I am a huge Krispy Kreme Donut fan! Since lots of them have been closed down, I was lucky enough to be driving pass one and had to stop in on a non busy weekday at 11AM. This Krispy Kreme is located in the same plaza as Menards, Meijer and Ross. Lots of parking available. There wasn't any customers when I got there and the employees were chit chatting but when I walked in, someone came up to me and asked what I wanted to order. There were lots of fresh donuts available still and the store was clean and employees were wearing masks. I got their limited edition Lemonade Donut and it was really good. Highly recommend it if you haven't gotten a chance to try it yet. Not overly sweet like some of the other limited flavor ones they roll out throughout the year. It has a hint of lemon flavor that wasnt over powering and their signature glaze just makes it even more delicious! I didn't have a bad experience at this location like some of the other yelpers have mentioned on there. read more

As I was riding down Western coming from the Cakewalk Event I looked over to my left and what did I see Krispy Kreme. It was like the Sweetness Of Heaven. I haven't been to a actual Krispy Kreme store in years. Nothing compares to it. No matter if Jewel, The Local Gas Station or Walmart sell these donuts. You must get the full experience of coming inside and allowing your eyes to indulge on these goodies. There is a glass display of different flavors of these Famous Donuts. My eyes were overloading my stomach. I was so undecided on which one I wanted to purchase. Jelan was so patient and nice. He didn't rush me. He allowed me to soak up all the sweetness inside this place. He also walked me through on how to sign up and get a free donut. Thanks so much Jelan..... This location is awesome. They have some amazing and fresh donuts and the customer service is Excellent. The prices are just right not overly expensive. Good selection of donuts, freshly baked, so soft and warm with every bite. My experience was brief I arrives after 700 am on Monday looking for a pick me It was raining out, that being said I was the only customer inside the store. The customer's, were in drive thru mostly. I was promtly greeted . I saw the original Krispy on the cover belt . I asked for two, I order plain coffee and was give a free lemonade frozen drink ,so believe it was made and a customer in the drive thru changed their mind about . The manager asked my cashier to offer it to me. That was awesome the lemonade I saved and drank later that nite and was still very enjoyable I just places in the freezer. The store's hours are 6am to 10pm as posted, I arrived at 9:35 and the entrance doors were locked and the workers inside said to go through the drive through as they were fixing up the chairs ready to close.. ok. So I proceed to go to the drive through and ask for a dozen original glazed donuts, and apparently they were out for the night. My friend and I came here together to support our student organization from our college days. They have a Krispy Kreme fundraiser, where you buy the dozen online, and they give you a unique code to give the store to redeem the dozen and it's any Krispy Kreme location. For some reason, my code didn't work, and the staff at the drive thru was very patient and courteous, she tried the code twice and ended up just giving it to me which I appreciate. I had no clue why it wasn't working. My friend in the passenger seat was getting an error about her card not going through but turns out she paid for 2 dozens. Both of her codes worked but mine didn't. Overall, it was still a good experience despite my code not working, we were in and out, and the donuts were still fresh surprisingly especially when it's close to closing time. They close at 10 and we arrived at 9:15. I also haven't had a Krispy Kreme original glaze donut in so long, and there's something special about this plain Jane donut. I love how soft and fluffy it is to bite into. The sugar glaze is a perfect touch to the already amazing donut. I could only imagine how much better it'll be if I picked it up when they have their hot and ready sign on. I do recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for the Krispy Kreme brand donuts. Definitely donuts are delicious any Krispy Kreme but Saturday night we google the hours of service and clearly was stated that it was open till 10pm! When we got there as we parked this worker that was mopping runs to lock the door, and lifts his finger doing circle movements on the air, and we could see the counter and there was tons of donuts on the display, we went thru the drive thru and it was open and I asked why was it close and she said " we are open the lobby is open " we got to the door and the same guy opens up with a snotty attitude we told him the lady o. This is not an indictment of this location but an overall review of KK. The big draw was their signaling of "Hot Donuts". Now in the interest of speed, the donuts are fried and stored for use later. If I'm driving for 10+ miles for donuts, I'll stick with Old Fashioned Donuts. This Halloween promotion is also less than clear. The implication is you are buying the specialty donuts and getting a dozen glazed for $1. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. All it means is that you buy a dozen you get a second dozen for $1. read more

I am not usually a review writer, but my experience at the Evergreen Park Krispy Kreme was above and beyond because of Tammy, the manager. I was in charge of the favors at my niece's backyard wedding. It turned out to be a glamorous event and the donut favors that Tammy made happen were the biggest hit. I wanted the 2 pack, X and O, that I found on pinterest. Corporate KK told me they were only available in the UK, not US. Needless to say, I was very bummed. I still went into the E.G. location wanting a regular 2 pack because donuts are a big hit right now at weddings. When I got there and discussed the situation with Tammy, she said," Hang on I can get you yhe X and O. She came back and told me that she could get me exactly what I wanted here in E.G. I ordered them on her verbal guarantee and she delivered. This manager, Tammy, this kind of employee, rose to the level of excellence, that any company should hope for. I was let down with the dead end from corporate, but this employee saved a customer, made money for KK and knocked it out of the park. Please take my eternal thanks and recommendation that this lady, Tammy is your way to go for any event. For starters, I absolutely love Krispy Kreme. Probably one of favorite desserts to have, and if I happen to see a KK whenever I travel I get some donuts. That being said, this Krispy Kreme has HORRENDOUS customers service. I've gone in several times and it's like everyone just hates their job. They talk to you like you're bothering them with a huge attitude and whenever I say "thank you" I just get silence- it's the most bizarre thing.
