I noticed the high calorie / low calorie selections. Ok KK, people don't go to a doughnut shop to count calories or eat anything healthy. Ordered a dozen donuts and a coffee, got to the window and the guy offered me a paper hat. I declined and he said "are you sure it is a collector's item?" Again I decline. He then informs me that it is tradition to wear the hat if you are eating the donuts outside of the building. Well now, I don't want to ruin tradition, so I guess I'm wearing the hat now! Wanted to go to a donut shop in town. You cannot use the front entrance because the door is covered in wasps. I was wise not to get donuts here. So I'm thankful we even have a KK, but you're also stuck with this one being your only choice and it's on a busy section of Wickham. The hot and fresh sign is on fairly often, they're usually fast even when busy, and most of the staff are friendly. However, there's this one miserly and testy older lady who can be utterly unfriendly. When I asked if they had a certain doughnut, she could've just politely said no but instead had to elucidate in a sarcastic manner that they haven't had that for umpteen years, as if it was ludicrous I even asked. I am personally not a huge fan of Krispy Kreme or hot donuts. I will say this location is nice to go to. The wait time is hardly ever needed, and the employees are always friendly and patient when I cannot make my mind up on specialty donuts. I am very pleased with the cleanliness inside as well as the bathroom. I also like the fact that I can use the KK donut app that will send me a notification when their donuts are hot and fresh. The only reason I don't this a full 5 star is because I feel they are a little too pricey and the easiness of leaving the parking lot. This location is hard to get out of when it's rush hour...especially if you need to head north bound. read more

I have made a positive review before on this location however, in the past few months, their service has been super disappointing. I give this place plenty of my money, especially on holidays (when they have themed donuts). The last time I came here (St. Patrick's Day) was extremely busy -to be expected!- There was a customer next to me who had been waiting before me when an employee behind the counter (a man not dressed like the others) had come up. I gestured for the other customer to go but they declined..the man behind the counter seemed annoyed and impatient by this. As I started to make my order (I told him I wanted the St. Patty Dozen), he went to grab a box, came back and asked me again. I told him "the specialty donuts". This time he tells me, which ones? We have plenty specialty donuts..do you want the st Patrick's day ones? THE WAY he said this was condescending! I laughed in disbelief and told his YES THATS FINE, and didn't say much else to him..he must have felt how disrespectful he was because he tried to be a bit more friendlier at the register when telling me to do a "survey". Ok lesson learned. Holidays are hectic and getting a box before the themed donuts are out is like the hunger games! When the Mars donut came out, they messed up online orders so bad. Then told me and another lady to call back at three. By then, they were sold out! Today, I went to get an "oreo dozen" and tried to use my military discount. They told me I couldn't use it for no other reason than "I don't know why". This isn't the first time they've hit me with that either.
