Aside from dirty tables (during busy hours) my experience was very good! Amazing tasting donuts!

Looked at their pricing the day before to plan a going away party for a co-worker at my work place. Came in and double checked the prices because I couldn't see the prices on the board and they would not honor their deal listed on their website. Management said they "weren't ready" for the deal when it specifically lists their location. Manager said sometimes they list deals ahead of time and the store isn't ready for it and she said she called corporate and they refused to honor the deal. The deal was that if you purchased a dozen donuts you can get a 24ct original glaze donuts for an additional $5.99. I showed them the deal listed and she said she can't honor it because their system "isn't updated". This wasn't a case where the date was incorrect. Their computer system just wasn't updated. They wouldn't offer any other deals or any compensation when it was their fault. I ended up going to Hanna's Donut shop a few miles down and it tasted great and everyone loved it. I hear Fluffy's Donut Shop is also real good. I would highly recommend checking out some donut shops around the area. Not only are their donuts amazing but customer service is MUCH better which makes the donuts taste that much better! read more

I will never return to this Krispy Kreme again. My mother-in-law did not have her cell phone on her and needed to make an emergency phone call. She went to this Krispy Kreme, I must add she bought three donuts and a coffee, and they REFUSED to let her use the phone! A paying customer. They'll hand out free donuts to everyone but won't let a paying customer make an emergency phone call. Bad business. read more

Its Krispy Kreme so donuts were great BUT....floor in entry door was wet and they were throwing down napkins to dry it up and leaving them. Ordered a Iced Latte. Machine was broke. Then ordered a Lemonade and out of that too. Only reason getting 3 stars is cuz of donuts. One off of 35 & Metcalf is alot better location. read more

Let me start off by saying I love Krispy Kreme donuts. I came recently and the lady that helped me was nice...at first. When she got my total wrong she ended up making me feel like it was my fault when clearly it was hers. After fixing the problem she never once apologized. I don't get how people can work in these establishments and be so rude and unkind. Just awful customer service. Her coworker was no help either, she was just as rude with an even worse attitude. I couldn't catch her name but she was an older short hair blonde woman. How the heck do these people get hired is beyond me. read more

My mom and I went through the drive thru to get donuts on the morning of August 4. It was my birthday and I was excited to go here. The girl on the speaker asked what we wanted and my mom told her we will have 7 donuts total. Girl is like, "Uh, if you get a dozen it's a better deal." My mom is like "Will it be cheaper?" and she snaps back with "I mean... it COULD be." and then my mom says "Ah, no thank you. We only have two peop-" and the chick immediately cuts my mom off mid-sentence and gets major attitude, replying "Well I'm just letting you know!" Her tone was so rude. We literally paused because we couldn't believe how mean she was being for absolutely no reason at all. She did not introduce herself by name (good strategy) when we pulled up so I do not know who it was. After her little remark, my mom (still polite!) said "Thank you, but we're leaving. Bad service." and drove away. Someday, drive thru girl is going to give a snarky attitude to the wrong person and will get clocked right in the face. Oh well. I didn't let her ruin my day, but I hope a manager gives her a reality check. She needs to learn basic manners and communication skills. read more

Without a doubt Krispy Kreme donuts are the best around, it's just too bad the service does not match their donuts. Donuts are not cheap so getting a coupon sure helps to offset the price. My wife and I stopped by on Sunday with a coupon she received from Survey Mini. They reward you with local coupons for doing surveys for businesses, I guess for marketing purposes to help make businesses better. When we went in to redeem the coupon like we have done on other occasions the staff was not sure how to input the coupon. The coupon was on my wife's phone. We explained that you have to hit redeem to get the code to input in the register. Like I said we have done this before. We even showed the staff an old receipt. The associates had to ask the assistant manager how to handle the coupon. We could see them conversing with her in the back. Because we had used the coupon before we wanted to show her our previous receipt from the last time we used the coupon and expected her to come up front. The associates were aware we wanted to see her but we waited for over five minutes before she decided to come up front. She immediately told us they only accept coupons from their app, and we showed her our receipt from the last visit. It did not matter. She would not accept it and made us feel like we were trying to get away with something. At that point we decided to walk out without donuts and after many years of patronizing KK donuts, decided to go elsewhere. I still think their donuts are great but good customer service is also important if you want to keep customers coming back. I guess their management staff did not care to keep our business after all. read more

Absolutely fantastic donuts. My only complaint is that I can never eat more than two. All the sugar and grease makes me feel like I swallowed a rock. My cousin says the same thing. But we keep coming back because they are so good. read more

The woman working at 9:30 gave us a hard time for having coupons and wanting specific kinds of donuts that go with the coupons. And gave us he wrong donuts the first time and we had to come back to get the right ones. Thank you for making my night a bigger issue. read more

Donuts are awesome but the service is TERRIBLE! We went on a Sunday when it wasn't very busy and just ordered donuts and coffee. When someone finally came to help us, he acted as if it was his first day on the job with no training. A medium hot black coffee really confused him. Then after he gave us our order, he just walked away without ringing us up. We waited again until we could flag someone down and tell them we needed to pay, but she tried explaining how she couldn't use the register because she needed the cashiers fingerprint. I really didn't care at this point, find the cashier. He finally came over and also seemed confused as to why we were waiting to pay. I asked if there was a manager on duty- he said yes, but that was the end of the conversation. We were going to come back for a large order to take out of town with us, but decided the service was so bad it wasn't worth it. You lost a good customer, Krispy Kreme. read more

Very nice and clean Merriam KS location. Good service. Of course the product speaks for itself. Kids love seeing them being made!

they offer free fresh glazed donut samples in the mornings. they are always fast and usually friendly.
