I am shocked at the amount of top reviews this place has! It absolutely must come from the day shift, because words cannot describe what a dumpster fire of a night shift I walked into. First things first. By law if you serve food you must have a working bathroom and if you think 3 garbage cans blocking the bathroom because you don't want to have to clean it again for the night is going to stop me from taking a shit in your toilet. Think again. Second the staff working the counter was doing everything and anything that wasn't work related and honestly didn't look like he reached the minimum requirement in the hygiene department either. The rudeness in his voice speaking to my wife because he didn't want to work anymore is so unacceptable. It's that work ethic that will have him peeked in his life time. Third after we left, we were directed to leave through a different door. Turns out they locked the one we entered so no one else could come in. It was 8:45. The hours are marked open till 10pm. The store went pitch black right after we reached the door. What idiot is running this place and how do they have a job? Wow Krispy Kreme surpasses the hype!! I'm visiting Seattle and tried my first Krispy Kreme cream filled donut a few days ago. It was beyond good x 100!!! Their chocolate glaze is also great!!! Service sucked. Communicating is key to taking orders. Why so afraid to speak and be friendly. It's bizarre.

First of all let me start by saying the Doughnuts here are amazing as we all know. But the customer service here at the 1st avenue location is beyond horrible! After placing what I thought was my order at the window they tried to charge me for something that was not my order. Calmly I told the lady that I did not order that and she continued to insist I pay for something I did not order. After asking her to read to me what was on her screen she became upset and started making remarks in Spanish to another Spanish lady and shaking her head. finally she read it to me and when I told her what I actually ordered and that the person taking my order made an mistake she became very embarrassed. If you're in the PNW, why would you go to Krispy Kreme? For me, it was for the nostalgia. I remember coming here as a kid, and getting a box of donuts before heading on vacation with family, or bringing them in to school on my birthday. I loved watching the conveyor belt and waiting in line to sample a hot Original Glazed donut. Maybe it's because I grew up, or maybe because times have changed, but the magic is gone in this franchise. I remember Krispy Kreme as being sparkly, clean, and new, but this particular one was run down and the tables needed cleaning. I remember the donuts as being fresh and melting in my mouth, but the donut I received was stale and lacked quality control. For reference, this was supposed to be a heart. I used to love Krispy Kreme so much, but visiting recently just made me sad. The only high point is the price--only $3 for a chocolate milk and a donut--but it's not worth it if the experience is negative. I'd recommend going to Top Pot or Mighty-O instead. read more

I come here occasionally with my family since it's a bit of a drive and I honestly don't like the Seattle roads and it's chaos during certain hours lol. The parking is usually open and it's great they also have a drive thru! Downfall: I believe every time we go here there are people at the entrance area asking for a buck or change while their drinking? There's also beer cans all around the garbage can which is a bit uncomfortable since I have my children there with me... but once we get inside, It is kept neat and smells yummy! We usually order Maple bars, Boston cream, blueberry (my fave), glazed, strawberry filled and jelly doughnuts. Sometimes they even have different themes on special holidays which I think is pretty creative! For the quality of the doughnuts, let me just start by saying that we have never been disappointed or disliked any of the doughnuts we tried. The melt in your mouth truly does exist within these doughnuts, and not to be be dramatic, but I can really lose myself in the flavor and quality of each and every single doughnut I've tasted. Blueberry are my all time favorites. The texture is fluffy yet there's a crunch that explodes with so much flavor. It's one of those experiences where you take one bite and BAMMM, you lose count of how many doughnuts you eat, lol! But seriously, they are the best compared to any other doughnut shop I've been to... hands down!!! Customer service is usually a hit or miss. This is one of the closest Krispy Kreme I know in Seattle and luckily it's on the way of my morning commute! It's fairly easy to get to with plenty of parking spaces. Krispy Kreme is my favorite doughnuts here in Seattle so far with their light and airy doughnuts! And typically they're freshly made several times throughout the day and night. You can never go wrong with the Original Glazed doughnuts, I would start with that if you never had Krispy Kreme before. Time to time they have limited seasonal flavors which is a treat! This keeps me coming back throughout the year. Currently they have the summer seasonal flavors which are Key Lime, Pineapple and Strawberry filled doughnuts which all look cute! There's really nothing to this, it's KK. They are consistently good. The dough will always be soft and pillowy, the glaze is always going to be soft with that crunch factor and make your teeth feel a little greasy. I like that there are always new flavors and the whole rewards program is definitely a perk for me. I love that I can always stop in to get a donut, at anytime in the day (after a show, before a show, etc). The only downside? Update: I visited here to redeem my survey coupon (buy 1 dozen get 1 dozen original glazed donuts) after my first visit. Staff named Alex sighed when I was picking donuts and I swear I didn't take that long because I was here like a week ago and tried most of flavors. Kiddos and the wife loved going to this Krispy Kreme whenever we go to a mariners game or just out and about around Seattle, but today gotta be the worse experience ever. We were in line to get some donuts and I get that they don't do dine in as of right now but the question is how can a food establishment not offer or have a bathroom?!???
