Crave Cookies is essentially a copy and paste of Crumbl Cookies. There are currently only three locations in Washington; Puyallup, Renton, and Spokane. My sister really wanted to try Crave Cookies because they had a Dubai Chocolate Cookie. She's obsessed with Dubai chocolate anything. Unfortunately, the closest location to us is in Puyallup, but they were sold out of the Dubai Chocolate Cookie. Instead, my sister submitted an online order at the Renton location since they still had the cookie flavors she wanted! The Crave Cookies store front was in a plaza with a shared parking lot with other businesses. So, lots of parking to choose from. It is located in a busy intersection though. Potentially tricky to get in and out of depending on the direction you're going in. Also, it surprised me that there was a drive-thru! Besides the Dubai Chocolate Cookie, we also got a Banana Cream Pie and Crave Cannoli Cookie. The Dubai Chocolate Cookie has a chocolate dough, kunafa pistachio filling with milk and white chocolate, topped with crispy toasted kataifi. The Banana Cream Pie Cookie is a pastry sugar dough, layered with banana cream spread, graham cracker crust, and topped with fresh whipped cream. The Crave Cannoli Cookie is a vanilla dough filled with rich cannoli cream, loaded with mini semi-sweet chocolate chips. Honestly, these cookies were amazing. Way better than Crumbl Cookies. The Dubai Chocolate and Banana Cream Pie were the best cookies I've had in a long time. I hope these flavors return soon! read more

Having been a prior Crumbl customer, I was glad to see that this business had opened up nearby. I'm the kind of person that loves novelty and fascinating combinations together, so while browsing their menu, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that a lot of these cookies were up my alley. I ordered a box of six and was nothing short of elated to discover that I could schedule the cookies for pickup, prepay for them, AND THEY HAD A DRIVE THRU. When I pulled into the parking lot, there was a bit of user error because you can only go into the drive-thru from the driveway that's closest to the actual drive thru window due to the narrowness of the roadway in that part of the parking lot. I was able to turn around, enter the right way, pick up my order from a friendly cashier, and be on my way. It was probably the most seamless food related experience I've ever had. The store is small but cute from the outside. We will definitely be back. read more

- delicious cookies, comparable to crumbl cookies - I ate the chocolate chip cookie, chocolate caramel cookie and the blueberry cookies. They were all good but I prefer the first one. They are also a bit sweet, but that's not an issue in the US. The size is comparable to crumbl cookies, but I saw the news online about how crumbl sues someone for trying to figure out their cookie recipes, while crave cookies willingly shares theirs with her. I'm not sure if it's true but it says a lot about the two businesses .. It's impossible for us to eat all of the cookies in a short amount of time, so I first freeze them for 2 hours, individually wrap them, then put them in the Ziploc bag in the freezer. I use a wet paper towel trick to reheat it and it's still good. I'd go back to try other flavors. read more

BETTER THAN CRUMBL!! Similar price point (overpriced), but the cookies are far better and feel much less mass produced and sugary. I couldn't get enough of these cookies. Their dirty sodas are refreshing and fun, but nothing overly special. read more

I stopped by after work to pick up a couple of cookies and had my puppy with me. I made sure to check online beforehand to see if dogs were allowed -- Yelp listed the location as "dog-friendly," and I didn't see any signs on the door indicating otherwise. Since I was carrying him and not letting him roam, I figured it would be okay. However, as soon as I walked in, an employee immediately said, "nope, no dogs allowed." I completely understand if that's the store policy, but it was a bit embarrassing, especially since I had done my due diligence beforehand. I also didn't feel comfortable leaving my puppy in the car, but I did anyway to respect their rules. That said, it would be helpful if the policy were communicated more clearly online or posted at the entrance to avoid confusion in the future. A kinder tone in the moment would have gone a long way, too. Aside from that experience, the cookies were excellent -- way better than Crumbl, in my opinion. I'll probably be back (without the pup next time), but I do recommend updating the information online for other dog owners. read more

Fresh cookies with toppings is all the craze right now! If you are a fan of fun toppings or sweet cookies, then you'll enjoy these cookies. I came for the kitchen Sink cookie based on a friend's recommendation, but missed it by a few days (new flavors every Friday), so I got the S'more and the Biscoff ones to try. The cookies were good especially right after it came out of the oven, but not worth $4.99 each imho. The store is clean, and the people who work there are super friendly. They also sell dirty sodas! read more

These days fancy cookies are all the rage and I'm totally here for it! I've been watching Crave for a couple of months now when I saw an ad listing that week's flavours. They all sounded amazing, so clearly that's the time to go! I opted to go with a 6 pack so I could have all of the flavours that week. The employee was super friendly and efficient! I liked that the cookies came right out of the warmer; if you want to eat your cookies right away you're ready to go, or you can re-warm them with the instructions on the box. This store is a grab and go place, and they have a drive up window if you're in a rush. The Biscoff cookie might have been my fav. I haven't had Biscoff in a very, very long time so I got the feels when I bit into it. I can't eat 6 cookies in a reasonable amount of time so I enlisted in a friend to help me. He was originally not going to eat the Biscoff half because it sounded like something he wouldn't like, but he did, and have very high praises. Next favourite would be the black forest. I personally would serve this cookie cold, like the Biscoff, but they didn't. Icing was melting off a touch, though that didn't affect the flavour. Overall all of the cookies I got were good! The chocolate chip was my least favourite. Nothing wrong with it, just when I compare it to others brands it doesn't really do it for me. Is Crave my top choice for overpriced cookies? No. But I'm going to keep them on my radar and I can see myself going back for select flavours. read more

This review is strictly for the strawberry Dubai cup: I was so excited when I found out that this place has the strawberry Dubai cup. The portion is not bad, but the pistachio and knife mixture is ok. The strawberries are not sweet. The chocolate syrup or ganache tastes so cheap. Taste for my palate was better than the Crumbl chain, baked longer with crisp edges. Presentations were attractive. Service was quick, representative was very friendly (rooting for them to increase their confidence) ; the little darling seemed nervous. Ambiance was nice to include merch/swag. The location seemed kind of sketchy to me and unfortunately the signs from road was not too visible. I've passed through this area before and could easily miss it if not intentional. read more

This review is only for the new "Dubai chocolate strawberry cup". Crave texted me about their new product of a new item dubai chocolate strawberry cup. After seeing the text, I went and got myself one. The product that was given to me was nowhere like the picture they sent me. In the description of the text, this product contains pistachio cream, choco ganache, fresh strawberries, and crispy kataifi. When I got the cup, it did not looked like it had kataifi, but I told myself maybe I won't see it till I eat it. Even when eating it, there was no kataifi. There was only crave cookie crumbs, choco ganache, strawberries, pistachio cream, and crushed pistachios. Literally false advertisement.... So disappointing... this cup cost $14.99+whatever tax there was, and it didn't even come with everything that was advertised. The cup was mostly choco ganache, barely any pistachio cream. read more

I would rate this place closer to 3.5 star but I'm slightly disappointed so it's down to 3 stars for now. I been wanting to try this place when they first opened but today was my only opportunity so I decided to give them a try. There was Definitely a lot of hits and misses with this experience: 1) It would have been better if they didn't have all of these flavors on the same week, they literally all tasted the same with very subtle differences. 2) these cookies are definitely meant to be shared, they are heavy. The chocolate chip weigh 6oz (yes I weighed it :D) Cookies I got: chocolate chip, rockstar, s'mores and Twix. Like I said they all pretty much tasted the same. I was able to tell the Twix apart because of the added caramel and of course the s'mores because of the marshmallows. The two misses for me was the Twix and the rockstar. I was expecting some crunch as Twix is known to have a crunch. The rockstar supposed to have pretzels in them but it was literally just a chocolate chip The only good thing about these cookies is the texture. It had a subtle crunch on the outside and still warm and soft and Gooey on the inside. Overall, I would come back just to try a completely different flavor to see if there are any differences. read more

Move aside Crumbl, there's a new franchise that's really competitive and maybe has an edge. If you haven't heard, it's another one of those treat yourself cookie places where it's best not to know the amount of butter or sugar that goes into each giant cookie. Pros: Attractive rotating cookie variety, and I haven't seen anything too repetitive yet. Not over the top sweet, which is a big plus (however I do normally avoid the ones that are overly frosted). Prices are on par with Crumbl. Cons: So incredibly busy being new, and sometimes lines are at the door. The basic chocolate chip cookie is just ok; Crumbl has an edge IMO. Tougher to eat the second day, as they're a bit more dry and crumbly without reheating. read more

Crave cookies have been the talk for weeks! Every time I try to go the line was either too long or they were sold out of everything. My last attempt to pick up some cookies for the family was towards the evening. Store was still pretty busy but not as bad as the other times so I decided to wait. You can tell they were really understaff but everyone patiently waited and staff was really nice despite the chaos. They were taking orders both inside and drive thru. Place itself was really small so they can only fit so many people. This is one of the paces where it's just a grab and go. No seating. They have a nice menu of different kinds of cookies that apparently changes. They also have list of drink options you can choose from or even create your own which I thought was neat. Thankfully by the time it was my turn, cookies were starting to come out of the oven so I got to try most of their cookies. I ordered the Cookie Monster, banana cream pie, cinnamon roll, and biscotti Oreo. The cookies were still warm when I got them so they were soft and the toppings on top were a bonus. They are more oil the sweeter side for me so it's not something I would've all the time. The size of the cookie was also very large so it's definitely sharable. Price is relatively high. I also ordered the summer cravin and southern sunrise. Both tasted really good. I would go back just to try other things off the menu. Prices were decent. I would probably try this place again once the excitement dies down. read more

I never ever leave follow-up reviews this early on (in this case 6 months) but I just had to praise the cookies from Crave. From the get go, they were already better than Crumbl and as someone who frequently eats cookies and pays obscene amounts of money for one cookie at other bakeries/gets them shipped from other states...I know my cookies. That being said, I was out of the country for a month and my partner got some cookies for me because I saw the lineup (strawberry short cake, milk n cookies). The cookies sat in the freezer for a MONTH. When I finally got back, I took them out and let them sit for a few mins, didn't even bother reheating or doing anything and they were still so good. No freezer burn, cookie structure and integrity was all there, great tasting even after a month of just sitting in a zip lock bag. This reinforced how superior Crave is to the other local chain. read more

Yummy cookies! Not overly sweet imo! They have a different cookies every week so I recommend checking out their website or socials to see which cookies they have. They also have loaded sodas which are amazing during the hot summer days. Only downside is the price, it cost me $5.50 for one cookie. read more

I guess the first question will always be... how does this compare to Crumbl? - Crust: the crisp extended throughout the top of cookie. Crumbl's crisp usually stays near the edges. The crisp was not that from a sufficient bake but rather from a crunchy topping added to the top. - Taste: less salty than the standard chocolate chip Crumbl. The inside of the cookie was soft and gooey. - Packaging: the plastic packaging may suffocate cookie but it lasted well for the drive home. - Cost: no difference as of this review ($5) Overall a great first taste of Crave. I split the cookie with my family of 4 and we had three votes for Crave vs one for Crumbl. I'd say the most dangerous part is that they have a drive thru and have a convenient location. These cookies are just way too sweet, unfortunately. I can get concentrated sugar, but this was a lot without anything to balance it out. Like other reviews have said, these cookies are pretty big, maybe the size of an adult palm plus an inch or two. They usually have something inside to look forward to, like a filling or oozing, melting chocolate. The pickup process is quick and the service was nice and to the point. I unfortunately can't give a better review when I can't get past the first bite. read more

Tl;dr - live in Renton/Kent and want a cookie? Go here. Made it for the grand opening in 20°F weather waiting outside. Okay the obvious is this is one of the 'ginormous and soft baked and sometimes crazy flavors' cookie places. I only heard this was opening near me due to a successful social media campaign (kudos, heard lots of people find out that way). And heck the grand opening free cookie may have swayed me. As with any grand opening there are some kinks to work out but in this case it was due to success. Got there about noon and the line was to the end of building. The staff was cranking out orders and baking like crazy. One observation: the staff all were working together and had a great attitude. Seriously. It could have been easy to get frustrated and such but they were a team. Not a single person was standing around doing nothing. Bravo When the crowds settle the inside is order and go. No place to sit or anything. Parking should be fine as it is in a pretty big lot. I did not try the sodas but will be back to do so. I'm happy/sad to have this so close by. I've been wanting to go to Crave Cookies for a while and finally got the chance today! The food: I got the Scotcherookie and the Twix. They were both perfectly light - thankfully not rich - and were delicious! Like I've literally never had cookies that were this good before. We've tried their cookies 3 times since they opened at this location. Our last visit, we stopped by as soon as they opened. We waited about 12 mins for our 4 cookies. Not a huge deal, and we did get a chance to try a new drink while we waited. But one cookie we ordered was not available and one of the four we did order was not accurate. We received an oatmeal cookie with icing instead of the caramel cookie was for that week. Also, the lady who is boxing our cookies was moving very slow and seemed confused on what she was doing. Stopped into Crave Cookies for a Tuesday evening treat. The store is bright and inviting with nice size tv screens displaying the cookie flavors and drinks. The line moved quickly and the person taking the order was friendly. I got the Better Than XXX which was labeled as the best seller out of the six flavors available. The chocolate dough was soft with a sweet chocolate flavor. I personally liked that the whipped cream was not too sweet and the caramel drizzle was light. I thought it could have had more heath toffee on top. I look forward to coming back to try more flavors! Hopefully they'll have something featuring a fruit when I do. read more

For it being very wet and rainy, this place feels like a nice relief from all that with the bright lighting and the cafe-like feel of the place. There's a grassy wall near the back for photo ops, and there are some tables, window seating and front couch seating. They don't only sell macarons here; there's also coffee, tea, and macaron ice cream sandwiches. I got a baker's dozen, which comes with 12 randomly assorted regular-sized macarons in a small container. This particular one came with three limited flavors: red velvet, cran-orange and a pear-like flavor. They were marked separately on a card provided with the box that shows all their regular offerings of macaron flavors. This came to $36 compared to $40 for the same number of macarons if you wanted to choose specifically which flavors you wanted instead. I also got myself a Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich; each one is prepackaged and $8. Both people working at the counter were extremely helpful in helping me decide what to get, and explaining the differences between both sets. Flavor wise, I was not disappointed: - My Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich hit the spot! The macarons did not come apart too easily and I could still maintain the shape of the sandwich throughout. Ice cream consistency is great, and the Thai tea flavor is not too strong. The whole thing is not too sweet by itself either, and this goes for all of their macarons in general. From other visits to their stand during conventions, I recommend their Cap'n Crunch berry, lemon, peach and durian flavors for ice cream sandwiches. - One of my friends and I loved the Vietnamese coffee flavored macaron. Taste is strong like phin-brewed coffee and it didn't have much sweet of a taste, something that would not have done well for this flavor. - The cran-orange and blueberry flavors were our other favorites; both had tastes that reminded me a lot of their respective flavors. - The box also had dark chocolate, vanilla, ube, Thai tea, pistachio and salted caramel flavors. All were decent and tasty. What I like about this place is that the taste for all of their macarons is exactly as advertised and never bogged down by the flavor that macaron shells are usually full of. I can't eat too many of these at once since they can be too sweet over time, so I would save these for a group setting where you can share these. By themselves, they are a great way to get your sweet tooth the love it needs!
