It is a very hearty meal and comes with your choice of toast. The last time we were there, we opted for the same omelette, but with grits. They didn't have to accommodate a small cup of cajun grits, but they did. We will continue to come back because the food is fresh, delicious, and very well portioned. We ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and the salad with added blackened chicken. While the sandwich was truly great with tons of flavor and awesomely seasoned fries, the salad left a lot to be desired. For $25, I expected it to be large and filled with toppings. What I got instead was a sad bowl of mixed greens with a tiny portion of cheese, nuts, and dressing. The chicken portion on top was ok, but certainly a disappointing portion otherwise. At least the bread pudding was a saving grace. Absolutely scrumptious way to end the meal. The sauce was incredible! There was, of course, an upcharge for the cup of vanilla ice cream. Overall, the food was good, but I was disappointed in the value of Toulouse. While I understand the price point in SLT is a bit higher than in the valley, I felt kinda ripped off with the salad. I believe the guy who checked on us a lot, I want to say his name was Lieness. Super nice guy, hard worker. The other ladies too. Food was good, for sure it's marked up, but I thought quality of the seafood, and the way it was cooked was good. I've got a high standard for the sauce, this one was for sure spicy, stayed on the seafood and corn pretty well. To me that's how you can separate these boil spots from each other. When you pull the shrimp out of the bag and de-shell it does the sauce drip right off? The biggest issue was when we ordered 3 lunch shrimp boils and added 1/2 lb of extra sausage. Each lunch is supposed to come with 1 corn, 2pcs sausage, 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 boiled egg. Naturally, we assumed ordering 3 lunches would mean three orders of all of that, and one of the bags would have the extra sausage. Instead, they put all the shrimp into one bag. Ok fine but then we noticed we only had 1 corn when we should've had 3 in there. Once we noticed we were short on corn, we realized we were short on everything else too, with 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 egg in the entire bag. We also noticed their lunch pricing varies depending on shrimp head-on or head-off, which is different from the other location (they charge the same for either) and the Stockton location is slightly more expensive for lunch too..maybe b/c they add an egg? The egg was also over boiled and almost grey inside (you know what I'm talking about!) The yolk just crumbled. The sauce though was consistent and that's what we love about Cajun Crackin. Same great flavor.
