I've been looking for a seafood boil in the east bay, and I'm glad I found one. This location is in…read moredowntown San Leandro. They have free parking in their parking lot up to 1.5 hr. On the app when paying, there is a code at their front entrance wall, type it in and it'll be free. This place sits a party of 10 quite comfortably, so everyone can enjoy their seafood boils! Their recommendation sauce was their Louisiana (Mild); they said it's like a "hot Cheeto" level of spicy, but I went with their Garlic Butter (Mild) and it was DELICIOUS. A lot of flavor, not overly salty, and tasted best with their side of rice. I loved how they have COMBOS as well. One of their combo served 1lb of head-on shrimp, your choice of clam/mussel and 2 corn, potato's and sausage for a reasonable price! Their customer service here is really friendly, and your order is served by a robot. Once your item arrives, you grab it and click done! I'm really happy that I don't have to go all the way to San Jose for my seafood boil fix anymore! Boiling Crab was my go to, so if you like there I'm sure you'll like Bag O' Crab too. The only thing I would pass on is their fried chicken sandwich (too dry) and their sweet potato fries (overly coated with sugar).

There was about a 20-minute wait before we were seated. We ordered wings, fries, garlic noodles, and our seafood bags. Some of the food came after our seafood bags, which was frustrating. I ordered Combo 2 with snow crab and 3/4 lb of head-off shrimp, potatoes, and sausage. I specifically chose no-spicy seasoning, but my bag was still spicy. There also wasn't much sauce, and what was there was too thin. The other person who ordered a seafood bag agreed that the sauce wasn't thick enough. I was honestly very disappointed with my seafood bag. The potatoes were served whole in the bag, and I only ate maybe 2 or 3 pieces of sausage and I can tell the corn is frozen prior to cooking. It's very mushy. I spent around $65 total on the bag, fries, steamed rice, and can soda. And I honestly felt like it was a waste of money. For $65, I expected the food and overall experience to be much better. The wings, garlic noodles, and fries were good, so those were definitely the highlights. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not compare to my experience at the Berkeley location. Another downside is that the drinks are bottled or canned, so there are no refills. Service could have been better as well. And honestly, the first red flag was the bathroom. It was horrible and made a bad first impression before we were even seated. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location. I expected much more, especially after having such a great experience at the Berkeley location.

We did get seated right away at a high top table, which we didn't mind too much but it was in an area a bit more secluded. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert and the bill did come out to be on par with a nicer restaurant. However, we didn't appreciate that the tip suggestions were based on the after tax total rather than the subtotal. * Focaccia - 3/5 as it was a bit dry and was plain even though the menu listed rosemary & herb. * Paradiso's Chicken Picatta with Linguini - 3.5/5 Pasta was a tad overcooked and kept breaking which made it hard to eat. Chicken was big and mostly juicy except for one thinner end that got a little dry. I did really like the lemony sauce. * Braised Short Ribs with Mash Potatoes - 4/5 Good portion short ribs, the sauce was great and meat was very tender. Only con was that some of the carrots were on the raw side. * Bananas Foster Bread Pudding with Vanilla Gelato 4/5 Good dessert, but pecans didn't taste candied and would have liked the bread pudding to be warmer than it was. We'd give it a 3.5 overall and would give it another try sometime. However for the price, we thought it fell a bit short of expectations.

We saw a street parking as soon as we turn, and just parked even though it was 1000 ft away. The drink/cocktail list is vast, but we are not much of a cocktail drinker and not usually drink during lunch, but I saw Matcha Sharka being ordered a lot and the other seemingly popular drink was this lavender drink. If you are a cocktail drinker during lunch, do check them out. We ordered 4 shareable items: * Savoy Donuts - 5 stars - fluffy and yummy, not greasy at all * Focaccia w/ Meyer Lemon and Garlic Confit - 4.5 stars - wonderful texture, did not taste the garlic much but the lemon was really good add. * Grilled Beef and Pork Chipolata - 4 stars - I think the star was the dressing. The meat itself was just okay. * Rice Vermicelli Bowl - 4.5 stars - not sure why it is called a bowl when it was served more in a plate. This is the fusion take on the Vietnamese dish with different dressing. We selected the Galangal Pork, which I did not like as much compared to the usual Vietnamese ones with Lemon Grass. There is a choice to select Lemongrass chicken instead, so you might want to try that. The pork tasted "porky" despite it was thinly cut. I was hoping to try dessert, but we were full so we did not do that. Next time. The restaurant is nicely set, and you can select indoor or outdoor seating. We did make a reservation, but when we arrived there were plenty of tables available. Service was fine, we did not get the "is this your first time" greeting as I heard other tables got. But it was our first time.

Servers will not come by your table unless you flag them over so make it obvious if you're ready to order. We ordered the string beans and beef, the famous baked pork chop with a little mild cheese and sweet tomato sauce over white rice, the salt and pepper chicken wings, popcorn chicken and the crispy Hong Kong style noodles with stewed beef and tomato. If we could have had more space in our tummies, we would have go the Haianese Chicken because we saw it served on other tables around us and it looked delicious. ALL the food was comforting and good. The cool surprise was the drink that comes with the pork chop dish, there were several to pick from but I picked the cold honey lemon tea and found it wonderful and highly recommend this. My cousin and I were having a lengthy conversation lasting almost 3 hours, and maybe because it was a slower week night they never pushed us to pay the bill while we were chatting, so we really appreciated they valued our uninterrupted time together.
