Ordered here for the first time & we weren't impressed. The chicken tenders & fries were $15. The fries weren't salted. Tenders were good.. Just not $15 good. The Hawaiian pizza was fine, but definitely not as good as Cuginis down the street. The chicken cheesesteak hardly had any filling - just a lot of bread. We were in Poolesville for a get-together. This is not the first time for our host/hostess, but it is the first time for the rest of us. We ordered online and opted for pick-up. The online ordering process was easy, and the website was easy to navigate. Everyone ordered something different and loved what we got. Portion was huge. Kristopher's is a local pizza place in Poolesville that also serves sandwiches, salads, and wings. I've had their pizza before and it's pretty standard "take out pizza". I recently ordered their Caesar salad and cheesesteak. I was a little disappointed in their Caesar because the cheese was just processed string mozzarella a their dressing wasn't the typical Caesar dressing. The croutons, however, were perfect chrunches of garlic and Italian seasoning. The cheesesteak was also just fine~. It was a little dry and bland, unfortunately. read more

All the food is decent. It is good for a weeknight when I do not feel like cooking. I most often get the gyro sandwich and order extra sauce. No real reason to get the platter unless you want fries. I like the pizza, my husband- not so much. Most times orders are correctly put together, but we have had errors so best to check before leaving. read more

Well... I hate to downscale my original review, but this place seriously dropped off over the past few years. First, as another reviewer pointed out, if you walk in to place an order, there's a bit of an attitude. Not sure why because it's not like I go in ten minutes before closing. I'm talking between 6 and 7 PM. It appears that they prefer you to call in an order, either for pick up or delivery. If you walk in and order, there are audible groans and sighs from the staff behind the counter. Again, I don't know why because it's hours before closing and it's not like I'm demanding my order take priority over everyone else's. So I stopped going. No offense to the owners of this establishment, but the food isn't so great that I need to put up with eye rolling from staff. Tonight, my son got done with soccer practice and was hungry. I decided to try a different tactic: I'd call ahead and place my order. I mean, that's what they want. Right? Call ahead? I figured I'd split a cheesesteak with my son and some mozzarella sticks. I placed the order and went to pick it up: 12 inch cheesesteak and large order of mozzarella sticks cost 29 bucks! What the hell? I don't know if it's inflation or if they're suddenly using filet mignon in their cheesesteaks, but 29 dollars? For a sandwich that was, quite frankly, more bread than meat? And a dozen cheese sticks? Sorry, Kristopher's. I can get around your attitude, but I can't afford you. read more

I would love for this shop to step up to the plate as there are so few options for pizza in Poolesville. The food here is really expensive, unimaginative and they use cheap ingredients. I've tried it a few times and have ordered the cheesesteak, pizza and salads. Every time I say "never again"...the food is just bland. The pizza has zero flavor. The chef salad is all iceberg lettuce and flavorless meats and veggies. I lived outside of Philadelphia for years, so I won't even comment on the cheesesteak. I threw it right in the trash. I gave them two stars because the delivery lady is so kind. I'd try this place again if I knew that the owner(s) learned to care about what they're feeding people. read more

I was working at the power plant down the road and noticed there wasn't a lot of food options close.. but I seen this pizzeria! The reviews were great so I decided to try a cheese pizza and some cheese fries. I love pizza! The pizza was delicious and I had to give half of it away so I didn't eat it myself. The fries on the other hand were only average. The next day I decided to try their falafel sandwiches. It was so good and packed with so much flavor I ate 2 of them. I couldn't believe a pizza place would have such good middle eastern food. Highly recommended and I will return when I come back to town. read more

Although the staff was friendly I have to give this restaurant a 3 star review due to the quality of the of the meal and the overall price of the order. I ordered a BBQ chicken cheesesteak, a drink and a bag of chips. My order was just over $16. The main reason for the review is because the chicken cheesesteak was terrible, mainly because the BBQ sauce used didn't seem like BBQ sauce at all. My whole chicken cheesesteak was stained pink from the sauce and had a weird taste to it. The meat to bread ratio on the cheesesteak was way off and the cheese looked like a afterthought. I felt skimped based off the cost of the order. I didn't finish the meal and ended up throwing it out. If I had more time I would have spoke to a manager and asked for a refund. My recommendation to this restaurant is to reassess their cheesesteaks or purchase higher quality sauces and ingredients. I would try this place again for their pizza but not for their sandwiches. read more

I've lived in Poolesville for 17+ years and Kristopher's has always been our go to place for pizza. We've tried other places in town, but we always found ourselves coming back. Everyone has their own preference for pizza crust and we find theirs to be perfect - not too thin and not too thick....just right (for us). My younger kids always choose cheese and/or pepperoni pizza, but I also highly recommend the Mediterranean, California, and Buffalo chicken pizzas. I've recently started ordering their gyro salad, which has become one of my favorites, especially when I want a more healthy option. The tzaziki dressing they give on the side is DELISH! Their menu is immense and I admit that I haven't tried other dishes, but their pizzas keep us coming back. Very happy they're in my small town! read more

Chicken wings with no meat on them. They seemed freezer burnt, and they were the smallest wings I've ever seen. Terrible product, not worth the money. Which is a shame since I thought it was impossible to screw up wings. But now I know, order the ones with no meat. On the other hand... Great pizza: my favorite is the Kristopher's Special, good crispy crust. Wings, salads, and pasta are good too, but really, pizza is the main point. I've never tried any of the sandwiches, so I can't review those. Ordering can be iffy...maybe iffy isn't fair...how about frazzled? Sometimes when I call in an order it's so loud that I can't hear the person speaking to me - it amazes me that they get my order right. I ate in this place for the first time tonight. On the advice of friends, I got their cheese steak with everything on it, fries and a drink. The 12" sub (which looked shorter) was "ok," nothing special, really. The meat came nowhere near the edges of the sub so the last bite on each end was bread and lettuce. For $13 I expected much more sub, actually. I kind of thought with the way everyone raves about this place it would've been better. I'm going to have to go back and try their pizza to make sure it wasn't just the sandwich. The fries were good, cooked just right, light and crispy. Overall, just average. read more

my friends and i order here from here all the time and we always get the same results. we mainly order a large cheesy bread and mild wings. the bottom of the cheesy bread is always burnt and there is always hardly any chicken on the chicken wings. when my brother orders from them, they nearly get everything perfect. that is called sexism. also, the ranch that comes with the wings is always water down probably with acid. and they are always asking for tips? fucker, it's already 25 dollars i have to pay for burnt cheesy bread and water ranch and you want 5 extra bucks from me? as what mercedes jones from glee would say, "hell to the no". i understand you're nearly going out of business because your company is shit, but i'm a little girl, i don't have money to help you stay in tact. also, one of your workers once stayed in my driveway after delivering our food for almost 20 minutes. stalker much? i am almost convinced they have my phone number written down so they know whenever i call to fuck up my order. if you're ever thinking about ordering from here, do yourself a favor and switch to dominos. read more

My fiancé and I have been ordering takeout from here regularly for at least five years, and never had a bad experience. The pizza is by far the best in town; real brick oven pizza that has a much better taste than chain pizza places. We also love the calzones, hot subs and gyros. The prices are good, especially if you are going to do the 2 large pizza deal - and the leftover pizza reheats really well the next day. Food is cheap an good but the service is rude and inept. I ordered pizza and burgers. They estimated 20 minutes. After 20 minutes I saw the pizza come out of the oven and then watched the cook request my burgers. They clearly forgot part of my order and remembered at the last minute - I watched the whole preparation from the lobby. 10 minutes later after watching everyone who came after me pickup their orders and leave, I asked about my order and the response was rude - no apologies were offered. we came by here after looking at the sunflower fields nearby and were not disappointed! the staff was extremely friendly even though we had a loud toddler and baby with us and took over half their tables for only four adults and two kids. they even got another infant chair from a nearby restaurant since we needed two and they only had one. the seating area is smaller but very clean. the pizza was fabulous!! we are from the northeast and miss good ny pizza. this place was pretty close! plenty of parking. the owners were incredible! they put on cartoon movies for our son, babbled along with my daughter, so friendly. if we are ever in that area again will 100% come back!! read more
