After a day at the beach this restaurant was a perfect ending to a wonderful day. The food here so absolutely to die for! The flavor and preparation were superb! We had a group of 14 and we were kindly accompanied and given amazing service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We did arrive still a little wet from the beach so the outdoor setting was a little chilly, but our waiter brought some outdoor heaters for us![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]So it does get a little cold, so bring a light jacket.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the ribeye special that came with some type of mashed potato and broccolini, and this gravy peppercorn sauce that tasted like a vinaigrette but not too sure what it was but I loved it. My steak was a little over cooked but the taste was tender and juicy! My husband had the seafood pasta, not my preference so I didn't taste it but he cleared off his plate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall we lived our visit and atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is a bit pricey however well worth it!

Seafood pasta and Hong Kong style catch! This spot is a great place to visit in Malibu if you love seafood. The Hong Kong style catch is a steamed fish with ginger and scallions, served with a side of broccolini -- simple, fresh, and delicious.

Soup of the day - tomato bisque

We came here last night for a family birthday dinner and had a great time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even though it was a bit chilly, we decided to sit outside and enjoy the Christmas decor (they have a huge Christmas tree that's all lit up in the grassy area). They had heat lamps so we were all able to stay warm enough.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was great - he checked in on us the right amount of times- responsive but not constantly checking in. We ordered a round of cocktails, then a couple appetizers to start. I got the soup of the day, which was a tomato bisque. It was so creamy and delicious - it really hit the spot on a chilly winter evening! We also got the mushroom flatbread and an antipasto/charcuterie platter to share with the whole table. We had 6 adults and 1 toddler so those were the perfect size appetizers for all of us. For our main course, I got the chicken breast. My husband ordered the lobster linguini, and we got the shrimp mac n cheese side dish for our daughter. The chicken breast was really good. It came with the skin on, and the skin was nice and crispy and flavored with lots of herbs. It sat atop delicious creamy polenta. I tried a bite of the lobster linguini and that was also really good. It came in a tomato-based sauce. I also stole a few bites of my daughter's mac n cheese. The cheese on this mac n cheese was so extremely stretchy that we kept getting tangled up in the long cheese strands as we tried to take bites with our forks, but the flavor was outstanding! I would have enjoyed the mac n cheese as my own dish, that's how good it was. Finally, we ordered dessert. My husband and I ordered the chocolate mousse cake and the cheesecake and we shared. They were both delicious. The cheesecake had a hint of some kind of tropical sauce - maybe guava? And the chocolate cake was rich, decadent, and everything that chocolate lovers could want.

Always a perfect lunch! Terrific veggie burger...sweet potato fries. And best service! Cheers!

Chicken albondiga soup was very tasty! Perfect for this 55° degree weather.

Tried this place for the 1st time my family and I will definitely be back! Service was great - heads up, they cook their food in peanut oil BUT unlike many places, they can make certain food with olive oil YAY!!! NOTE: The regular fries with the tri-tip 'wich were also seasoned with garlic & rosemary. I ran out of allowed characters rolling so I couldn't include that on the pic.

They have a nice interior build-out with a huge wine bar, but it was a nice evening and we elected to sit on their spacious patio. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Sarah, who is the bartender and also manages a couple of nights a week for the owner. Sarah is super friendly, explained the menu and provided great table service. They have a large wine selection. My wife ordered a chardonnay and I stuck with an Arnold Palmer. We ordered their bruschetta appetizer, served as six pieces of toasted bread and the expected toppings. It was a perfect start to our meal. We were not super hungry, and selected a three-cheese charcuterie board. You are able to select your cheeses, and Sarah again helped us make our decision. It was perfect for a summer-weather afternoon (although in March) and we chatted, had our drinks and picked at the board until it was gone. During our meal, Sarah was very attentive to our needs. My wife tried another chard, and we ordered their banana dessert, which had great flavor and was a nice end to the meal. This is a great place to quietly enjoy some wine, beer and food. They have a good sized menu and offer a brunch menu on Sundays. (Diane, Sarah needs a bonus, she made the evening much fun).

Waiter Manuel. This…read moreis a review reflected on you, solely. Being kind is the moral of the story, from the beginning you were passive agressive with your comments and tone. Being in a party of 4 girls coming from high tea, we were dressed in elegant dresses, first comment was asking if we were coming from church, followed by eye flutters, short "okay" with an upward inflation to a joke about the day, an impatient comment about hurrying up and trying the wine while we were talking, asked for water when we were out, were left to pour the rest of our wine, didn't ask how the food was all the while was attentive to the table behind us, the cherry on top comment was when we were discussing the bill at the end, he was hovering at the table behind ours, then when we were ready, we asked to split the bill into 2, my portion on mine and the rest on another card, he then said "this isn't like a drive through, we can't do it that way" so I asked him to explain his comment, cause it was passive agressive and rude. After he wasnt able to becuase he wasnt expecting me to call out his rude comment, I had to then break it down and specify what I had ordered, he then sold "okayyyy....so how much, cause we don't itemize?" I had to again express for him to specify how they do it cause he has still yet to explain where his attitude is coming from and explain how they do their check splits, from my understanding it just felt like he wanted to play dumb and make me to the math, one I did he was like "ohh, okay" should have asked for the manager but we paid and left, I hasnt had this experience before being a returning customer, but he needs an attitude adjustment as his attitude was completely out of pocket. Do better Manuel, you alone got your place of work a 1 star. The rest of the staff was kind, facility beautiful and food and wine was good. This restaurant is not reflected in the 1 star.

We brought our puppy so got to sit outside at a shared table. That was a nice setting and people are friendly. I had a taster of beer and tried to get some of their more award-winning brews. I would say there was nothing substantially great or substantially bad about them, kind of run-of-the-mill beers. For food, we got the Southwest salad, which I would say was big enough to serve the entire shared table of about six people. We also got the seared Ahi tuna sandwich, which I would say was delicious but I suspect it may have been the culprit of about three days of stomach issues. I also had the sweet potato fries with a couple of different dipping sauces. So either the tuna or the dipping sauces definitely carried some bacteria that caused issues for a couple of days. I sincerely hope it wasn't the ahi tuna sandwich because it was tasty. Overall, I have some mixed emotions on this place, but it was pretty good so I am willing to give it another chance.
