One of my most favorite chocolate chip cookies ever and I was told They make them in house. I was so so expecting a mediocre experience and I was wrong!! I had the Italian, and this one really hit the spot! The pickle in the plate were so tasty! The other side is coleslaw and that always makes me roll my eyes cause so few people make good coleslaw- but other than my desire for a bit more salt (call me cray ) I didn't add it due to all the other salt, I finished it up. Service was great. Overall welcoming, quick and efficient. Overall cute shop with many fun things and snacks to look at. Hadn't been in the spit for so long, had low expectations of the new market and was pleasantly surprised.

For THE BEST matcha in Malibu, head to Scott's Malibu Market! The breakfast burritos are pretty stellar too! Scott and the staff are super friendly and always helpful. The market has inside and outside dining areas and is casual.

I love this place so much! I can never find orangina anywhere, so just for having my favorite elusive beverage they get 5 stars! I have also enjoyed a pastry here before and am looking forward to try one of their other food items in the future!

G and I pre kicking off our empty nesters journey on Yelp as we dropped off 2 of our 3 triplets to college.

Spent the week down in Malibu taking two of our three triplets to college at Pepperdine. While there, we saw Scott's and the adjacent Marmalade Cafe were ranked well on Yelp so we figured we'd try both. On our last morning, we stopped into Scott's for a quick bite and a coffee. I gave the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on Brioche a try and my usual latte. Hands down better than Marmalade - sorry Marmalade but the service there was mediocre and so was the food. Not Scott's though - just across the parking lot, Scott's was a clear winner between the two. My breakfast sandwich was next level delicious. The bun tasted like it was just baked - it was so soft that I don't ever recall having a bun actually that fresh and pillowy soft before. The eggs and bacon weren't second fiddle either. All the ingredients were just the right amount and each were put together with precision like it actually mattered, which it did to me. The latte was solid. Def better than Starbucks. The dense and creamy foam was apparent as I removed the lid. I'd have preferred a 'for here' cup though. I should have asked. Next time we visit our kids, I'll try a sandwich.

    The Italian sandwich.

I got the Italian sandwich. So good. Nice and full of meat. 10/10 highly recommended. Doesn't get saugy from sauce and half will definitely fill you up. I get it with fries. The fries are too. We order here at few times a week at work.

Hot Pastrami Sandwich and side salad.

Ordered a pastrami sandwich and a side salad to go. Sandwich was delicious not heavy, greasy or fatty, but it's full of tasty flavor. Side salad was clean light perfect with a sandwich. Ordered online for curbside delivery and service, etc., went beautifully.

The 4.8 stars are absolutely justified--this place is great! Every food option I've tried has been really good. I especially love the breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich, and my friends rave about the salmon lox bagel. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and the Malibu location makes it even better. What I appreciate most is the consistency--the food is always fresh, delicious, and reliable every time I come. Definitely one of my go-to spots!

I have been wanting to try this place out since they opened finally I stopped by today with my family while in the area. This spaced used to be Malibu kitchen and gourmet country market which we liked very much. Now that we ate here today I can tell you that we like this place as much. The sandwiches we ordered were fresh and delicious. I love the tuna salad sandwich on multigrain. My son enjoyed his bagel lox sandwich and my husband said his breakfast burrito was amazing. We also got black iced tea and loved it. After walking around the plaza for an hour we came back and got iced coffee and frozen coffee that was amazing. Like a slushy but coffee slushy. So so good. The customer service was friendly and welcoming. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. They also sell freshly baked pastries, cookies, cakes etc.... You will also find some snacks, ready to go sandwiches, salads and canned drinks. Perfect before heading to the beach for a picnic. Overall a great place with great ambiance. We will be back.

Came here for lunch with the fam. I was sad when Malibu Kitchen went out but happy to see it's a similar concept. They modernized the interior and upscaled it a bit. We got the chicken club sandwich and the brisket sandwich. The chicken club was great. Packed with all the fixings. The brisket was mediocre. The flavor was okay but it was pretty fatty and there wasn't enough meat on the sandwich like a typical brisket sandwich. We were expecting the quality of the pulled pork sandwich when this restaurant was Malibu Kitchen and were disappointed. I would definitely get the chicken club again. The fries were good but make sure you know, the fries are a $5 up charge on top of the sandwich cost.

I was going to visit friends and wanted to take dessert to their house, so I stopped by here yesterday afternoon. Jonah helped me and recommended the cupcakes. I got two red velvet and two chocolate cupcakes. If you buy three pastries, you get one free, which is nice. The cupcakes were a hit and were very good. They're pricey, $6 each. They do have other pastries as well. I will probably come back in the future for dessert or even lunch.

Wow so good!! Greek salad was very filling and delicious. The Italian sandwich was amazing. The Mac and cheese was huge and so so good! Beets and buffalo cauliflower are a must. Will 100% be back. Good ambiance food comes out quick and is casual. If you're looking for a great lunch or breakfast in Malibu come here.

I've been searching high and low for a good Kouign Amann in SoCal. So far Scott's is at the top of my list! They've transformed this space into a bight, open, more modern spot that serves hot breakfast-y brunch-y dishes and a few different sandwiches, a few healthy chia & fruit bowls and a variety of drinks. Scott of Scott's actually welcomes you in himself AND takes your order. Loving this new place!

    Turkey Brie apple sandwich

We found this place when we were visiting Malibu, it's very close to the beach and the locals kept raving about it. When you turn into the small market area, it's on the right. The inside has a cafe/bakery as well as a food counter. The smell of the place permeated from outside, delicious! We ordered two sandwiches and drinks; Turkey Brie and apple sandwich and the hot pastrami sandwich. The prices were very reasonable, and there was not much of a line because of how much help they had pushing thru customers. The sandwiches were delicious, so check this place out if you are in the area!

While we were eating, we saw many people coming in and out. This place definitely does get busy and for good reason. They do have several menu options. There are a few tables to sit at, but they also have additional chairs and tables that you can set up if needed. It's in a little plaza. Though it gets busy, there's a decent amount of parking. They do have a bathroom on the side of the building. For those who are ADA, just be aware that when you go to the bathroom, there is a step down. Not very far but watch your step. I definitely recommend trying this place and we will be back when we're in the area.

We waited for our table despite having a reservation, but it was only a few minutes. The real waiting started once we sat down. We ordered several appetizers but they came out sporadically. I had to flag down the waiter to get more water after everyone was empty. It had probably been 30 minutes since he checked on us. The entrees came out about an hour after we ordered. When it came time for dessert, I asked if it would take awhile and we contemplated stopping at another restaurant for dessert. The hostess said they only had one cook in the kitchen but she would ask them to rush the dessert. They comped the pazooki due to the long wait throughout the meal. That was nice I guess. BUT, they charged us 18% tip included despite the terrible service, thirsty table and long wait times. Luckily for the staff, it was quite slow in the restaurant which was probably because the phone rang unanswered throughout most of our meal. People kept checking their cell phones because the restaurant phone had the same ring tone as a FaceTime call. The management at this restaurant should be embarrassed. If you decide to go here, pack a lunch and bring your water bottle. Maybe they'll let you have a picnic on the patio next to the ocean. Just don't expect them to feed you despite the ridiculous prices on the menu.

This week we hit our limit, and are thinking of canceling our membership. The waiters act as though you should be serving them and it usually takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes for someone to arrive at your table. Meals are drawn out due to the lack of service. The front desk hostess' could not be more unpleasant, dismissive, and rude. Also, the food is simply OK, nothing special, and priced exceptionally high for what it is. In terms of ambiance, the furniture is stained, mildewy, and terribly kept. The large dining room remains empty throughout the day since they don't allow computers, and everyone is crammed into a small area where "computers are allowed". Also the employees take up one of the best (more private) tables in the house with their computers and coffee (stunned by this). I spoke to a once prominent member who also canceled his membership for these same reasons. It's truly so sad to see a place with such potential, lack such basic needs.
