Hidden gem for sure! At this little shopping center lies a wonderful little Cantina. This restaurant and staff were killing it! They even had the World Cup soccer games on all TV's. They have this beautiful bar and its big enough for drinks and a meal. The drinks were well made and balanced. The food was excellent! I ordered the ceviche and taco tasters. 3 different ceviche, 5 different street tacos, and the 3 piece street elote. Everything was delicious. My favorite part about my experience is that this restaurant was play the freshest House Lounge music Not loud, but at just the right volume to hear it, groove a little, and still have a conversation. Okay, back to the review. Bathroom was clean. There were a few celebs in and out at dinner. My favorite was Forrest Frank, Amen! Great job staff. I wish I had names for my waiter and 2 other staff helpers. The staff was fast and so so good. The staff got our food out in a timely manner. I will definitely be back for more amazing food, and that House Lounge vibe!

Had to stop by my favorite margarita and Mexican food spot in Malibu while I was driving through. Alex and Kevin are great bartenders who not only make great drinks but provide great service. Food is great love the quesabirria tacos but the menu has so many options everyone can find something they enjoy. Must try spot if you're in Malibu!!

Nachos, cheese enchiladas, taco and chips and excellent salsa

Stopped in at La Nena over the weekend for dinner. Had the hard shrimp tacos. Very tasty, loved the garnish, great combination of flavors. Wife had the carne asada fajitas. We were in a rush and let the server know that we're in a hurry, food came out timely, we ate and were on our way. We didn't stay long but did take in the restaurant and the environment, nicely done. It was later in the evening, people were still coming in. So it must be a popular spot.

Such great quality food for a great price! Came across them gem after Zumba hike and ordered the ceviche de pescada which was the perfect balance of fish and lime! we also got the guac that we didn't know came with a while presentation! That was a pleasant surprise The ambiance was casual fancy & the interior was beautiful! We came from a hike and were sat down quickly without a reservation

This was literally the best salad I have ever eaten in my life. Seared tuna salad + aquilita drink. Wow.

Grilled & fried fish tacos! Delicious!

Absolutely delicious! Loved the ambience and decor! The service from Rafael at the bar was top notch! He was friendly & knowledgeable of the menu! First time here on a busy Sunday evening & happy to have found two seats at the bar! The fish, mole, Chile relleno & carnitas tacos were absolutely tasty! We enjoyed every bite! My Paloma was perfectly delicious too! A week later I made reservations & we returned with our best friends! They loved it just as much! Definitely my new favorite!

Would go back again for my next meal! We loved our waiter, Efrain ... gave us excellent menu recommendations. Give the Michelada a go & if you like heat, go for the Pozole!

It's high time Malibu got a good sports bar and this is a good one…read more Sparky's is the biggest little sports bar in Malibu. Almost a speakeasy in a way because you can't really see it in the daytime but at night when it's all lit up from the inside and the neon sign it's kind of like that Nighthawks painting. It's clean and well-lighted and they have a good selection of beer and wine and are working on a liquor license. One giant screen TV for watching the World Champion San Francisco Football 49ers beat everyone and then four little screens to the side for everything from lacrosse to poker. The three gals behind the bar - also known as the Sparkettes - are lovely inside and out. But maybe the best thing about it is the bar food that's available next door at Prince Street Pizza in Irv's Burger's. Prince Street takes their pizza very seriously and it's Rated X for hot, juicy, saucy, sassy. Irvs Burgers offers a five dollar hamburger so take a date and do your Vincent Vega shtick: "Is that a five dollah burger?" If there's any complaint about Sparky's it's too small and they need more comfortable chairs but they're working on that. If I had any friends I would tell them all about Sparky's.

People were standing around waiting to be helped, and I heard multiple customers complaining because no one was there to serve drinks or answer questions. The entire place felt neglected. The tables were sticky, the trash cans were overflowing to the point that trash was spilling onto the floor, and the smell inside was awful. It honestly made me question when anything had last been cleaned. To make matters worse, it was unbearably hot inside. Between the heat, the smell, and the complete lack of service, I simply couldn't stay any longer. I ended up leaving because the experience was so unpleasant. As someone who appreciates good customer service, I was shocked by how poorly this place seemed to be run. I truly hope management addresses these issues because no customer should have this kind of experience. I had just come from Whole Foods and bought myself a small meal, thinking I could sit inside and eat while having a drink, but that was not possible because of the condition of the place. Management should be embarrassed.

We brought our puppy so got to sit outside at a shared table. That was a nice setting and people are friendly. I had a taster of beer and tried to get some of their more award-winning brews. I would say there was nothing substantially great or substantially bad about them, kind of run-of-the-mill beers. For food, we got the Southwest salad, which I would say was big enough to serve the entire shared table of about six people. We also got the seared Ahi tuna sandwich, which I would say was delicious but I suspect it may have been the culprit of about three days of stomach issues. I also had the sweet potato fries with a couple of different dipping sauces. So either the tuna or the dipping sauces definitely carried some bacteria that caused issues for a couple of days. I sincerely hope it wasn't the ahi tuna sandwich because it was tasty. Overall, I have some mixed emotions on this place, but it was pretty good so I am willing to give it another chance.

It's almost like a farm setting and sorta lit up like Christmas it's very beautiful with all the lights. We stopped to grab a coffee at the coffee shop there and it was honestly not that great, they were very sweet the girl working there I do remember that. But their coffee was not that great. The dinner we had was nice but it was outside and it was freezing. So we were all shivering and by the time our food came out everything was pretty cold. The entire hotel was not busy there wasn't that many people there. Kind of a shame since you think it would be since it is beautiful there. The rooms were interesting and across from each other, however I loved the little fire pit they had in the middle of the outside area going back and forth to the rooms. The kids had a blast though they had fun running back and forth and they do leave a lot of yummy snacks around which was really nice. The customer service was not bad not the best but not bad! Everyone was nice but things took extra long when it shouldn't when no one was really there. I hope next time we visit this hotel it will be busier. But it's a very unique kind of a hotel and very gorgeous. At least check it out once. Have a really beautiful day :) Be kind to everyone - Aloha

But an Italian style restaurant with perhaps the most UNINSPIRED spaghetti and meatball entree you won't find anywhere outside a can of Chef Boyardee! My gosh, I guess I forget every couple years... and get a hankering for a good, comfort pasta exactly like a spaghetti and meatball... I come here and... blah. Some spaghetti with some kind of incredibly BLAND flavorless tomato sauce/paste with less flavor than the cheapest over the counter spaghetti sauce you'll ever taste. Sprinkle a few flecks of greenery on the bowl, 2 "kinda pleasant" but really boring beef meatballs? And voila... an uninspired spaghetti that maybe could challenge a 7th grade home economics class. Maybe. And all for the premium price tag of $24. Come ahhhhhn, Spruzzo. I SO wanna put you into heavy rotation, with perhaps what should be THE #1 go-to entree of anyplace remotely Italian. But this offering!? It's an insult to any palate. Spazzatura. Generally, it's a nice waitstaff here (although, last night-- a late, slow Monday night... played out very sluggish!) and the atmosphere is generally inviting too. But I, once again, left very unhappy, even letting my server know (and the server agreed!) ... with only the warm bread being the ONLY satisfying part of my meal. PLEASE Spruzzo, change the recipe.
