Exceptional service EVEN ON VALENTINES DAY! This is rare. The selection of wine is impressive and the guidance of the sommelier was absolutely a necessary element. Food is on the WLV pricy side ( lobster lollipops) but delicious! The vibe is very chic!

First time here and blown away. Gorgeous space and incredible food. I didn't know how I'd feel about the do-it-yourself wine but I loved it. So fun to get up from the table and try new wines. People talked about how expensive it is but this is not like Maestros prices - value and portions are right on.

We came here to celebrate our friend passing the bar on the first try. The ambience, the food, the staff everyone was a wonderful experience. We will be coming back here again!

We Vino is more like what many Southern Europeans expect in a fine restaurant. Dinner should last 3 hours to be able to not rush, savour, and enjoy. It's quality, not quantity where many of us Americans are too used to supersized meals. There is an expectation of small portions so that one may experience more dishes to test the métier of the Chef de Cuisine and to experience varied gustatory sensations. If the portions are small, order more. We Vino really puts out well modulated, sophisticated cuisine if given the chance & our using the pocketbook. If one cheaps out, the experience will be inferior. The old adage "You get what you pay for." is true. (However, with so much misunderstandings on portion size in the reviews, perhaps there should be an American Super Size option.) The staff is AMAZING. So enthusiastic in presenting their expertise to enhance the guests' dining experience. I was floored by General Beverage Director Andrei, Sommelier Luca, Chef Ludo, Server Kendall whose hospitality and joie de vivre were orchestrated into a smooth flowing ballet de théatre. 1) Esperienza Buffala Casa Bianca: Dressed with evoo & sea salt. Milk from the water buffalo often found in Campagna when Bufala is mentioned. a) Cremotta: Richest, soft, triple cream-like, almost dairy sweet. Reminds me of Brillat-Savarin. Best b) Burrata di Bufala: Skin semi tough, watery yet creamy c) Mozzarella di Bufala: Soft skin, sour-musky, rough textured, d) Bocconcino di Bufala: Tough, bitter, watery, nutty, still retaining a half ball shape e) Affumicata: Tough, brown skin, more substantial texture, smoky BBQ scent from burning hay. 2) Lobster Corn Dog is a fun conceit. Sweet lobster mimicking the common hot dog. 1-2a) Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico: Bouquet of loquat, apricot, woody. Tart-sweet loquat flavor. Finish is similar to its taste. Special pairing by Andrei. Intermezzo: Foccacia & organic Sicilian EVOO #1 Lorenzo "Cerasuola" Bibenda 2023. Refreshingly bittersweet, white peppery, buttery, slight woody artichoke taste as noted by Andrei, beverage director. 3) Carpaccio di Wagyū Filetto: Tajima Wagyū (wah ghee yu) doesn't refer to a region in Japan, but it is the name of the black haired cow that is the progenitor to most other Wagyū all over the world. Extremely thinly cut, fatty, lush, plush, beefy. Lemon Garlic Aïoli (ah ee oh lee), Arrugula, Parmigiano Reggiano, and hyper thin chiffonade of fried leeks with concentrated essence of funky chives is unforgettable. 4) Barbabietola e Caprino: Sweet Golden beets, earthier Red-Purple beets glazed by sweet Moscato wine, fresh, tart red plums. Small ball of chevre/goat cheese coated with a chiffonade of dried herbs, sprinkling of micro basil. 3-4a) Pinot Noir, Bernadus, Santa Lucia Highlands, California: Brandied cherry, raspbery, light oak, earthy. 5) Polpette Brasate al Pomodoro: 60% beef, 40% pork. Meatball is fine textured, firm dressed in a cheesy, thick Sugo di Pomodoro. Topped with Cremotta & fried, green Basil leaf. Grilled Ciabatta bread. 6) Paccheri ai Tre Pomodori: Big, floppy big mouth tubular pasta al dente tucked with long, slow cooked tomato sauce of 3 tomato varietals. Single green Basil leaf and good scattering of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. 5-6a) Le Sabbie dell'Etna: "Sands of Mt. Etna" 2021. Scent of raspberry, strawberry, cherry, light oak. Red wine is sprightly, juicy, acidic, agrodolce/sour sweet, and the flavour continues. Nerello Mascalese is an awesome Sicilian varietal. 7) Tira-Cotta di Cuoco/Chef Brik: Clever hybrid of Panna Cotta "pudding" and Tiramisù. A thin layer of apricot Panna Cotta encircles a mound of Chocolate Mascarpone cheese Espuma, Chocolate Espresso Crémeux, scattering of crunchy Chocolate Coffee Sand, crunchy Mandarin. 7a) Moscato d'Asti: Softly effervescent, smooth, sweet, mildly acidic white wine with honey mead, pineapple. Astounding panoply of skillful, accomplished cooking with exemplary service that went above and beyond. And this was DineLA. I am now compelled to participate in their Menu Dégustation avec l'Association de Vins et Mets or its equivalent in Italian. 5+ Stelle/stars!!!

We made reservations for Saturday night and it was a fabulous girls night out. Our party was a total of 3 ladies and we ordered 4 drinks, 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 desserts to share. The total with tip was $467. The level of service Jay (GM), Mia (in dept menu knowledge), and Andrei (beverage director) provided at various moments during our meal added value to the fine dining experience. The ambience & decor is very cool so date night, business meeting, and/or girls night out is very fitting. The menu had some unique culinary innovations like the wagyu tartare presentation, lobster corndogs, truffle options, and specialities of the night that make this place standout. I noticed that a dress code was not enforced and I like that you can come in and be comfortable. Also, the option to get up from your table and select your own wine at the wine kiosks makes the process casual and fun. That being said, this place combines a formal dining experience with more casual options. You can valet your car or self park. Lots of options depending on your mood for the evening. I'll definitely come back and bring more friends to try out the wines and other bites I didn't get to try. Look at the photos and description for all the food we had. You'll be happy to check it out.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience celebrating an anniversary dinner here! We were well taken care of by Kendall and Gabo. The filet mignon was amazing. Also strongly recommend the Caesar and the Pistachio Dubai dessert!

Oh myyy...I'm so glad I got the chance and to come here. A bit away from where I live, but definitely worth the drive. The food and drinks were amazing! Couldn't get over the lobster corn dogs. Colton our waiter was super sweet and very informative. Gave us the rundown of the menu. Loved the layout here and fancy bar:

Love the ambiance. Great concept, great staff, tasty food. Far preferred husband's mushroom fettuccine to my delicately one note truffle pasta. Cesar is awesome, giant prawns pretty good. Excellent place to meet friends, excellent wines! Luca is a treasure. They heavily overbooked and that is the only caution I had, the overbooking had many tells in care. Obviously no fault to service.

The interior design and overall vibes were immaculate. Though the music choice was questionable at certain points (e.g. techno rave-like music). Got the DineLA menu at $45 which included a cheese tasting to share, a salad, pasta, and dessert. - Tricolore (+$4): strong taste of cheese and arugula. blood oranges was a nice touch (though could use more than the 3 thin slices it had). - Penne alla vodka de chef brik (+$4): was way drier than I would've liked... it was like eating pasta with ever so subtle flavor. - Lobster corndog (+$6): Whilst unique, it was alright. Fluffy breading, and tender lobster in the center. I would've liked there to be a bit more lemon aioli, but the lemon slice was sufficient - Tira-Cotta de chef brik: unique and flavorful - I liked how the fruity tartness of the crunchy mandarin balanced the sweetness of the apricot panna cotta and chocolate creme. Coffee sand was also a nice touch! A waiter came by to ask if we'd like crushed pepper in a "tell us when to stop" fashion. This was unique, as I'm used to italian restaurants bringing a block of cheese to shave instead of pepper... and when one of my friends had asked for a cheese instead, they instead brought it on the side and charged for it (which isn't a big deal, but I wish they'd mention there'd be a charge at time of "ordering") Service, albeit very nice people, was pretty slow and unorganized. We had a reservation at 7pm on a Friday. Ended up getting seated at least 30 minutes later, and our orders taken another 20 min after (7:50PM). Salads came out first at around 8pm, for all except one person in our party. We waited another 10-15 min for hers to come out so we could eat together. Pasta came out at 8:45PM. At this point, we had suspected that the cheese tasting board had been forgotten about. After reminding the waiter, this came out shortly after. Lobster corndog came about 20 min after, than dessert at 9:40pm, 20 min before closing. We didn't expect to be here as long as we did, but it is what it is. Pasta and lobster corn dog portions were tiiiiiiiny. They looked sad.. relative to how large the plate was. Maybe downsizing the plate could be an option, but regardless we left unsatisfied. I hope this place works out its kinks because there's definitely potential... Love the idea of fresh ingredients brought from Italy every week hence the price point. Very unique premise with the key card to try the various wines. Won't be coming back, but if you're a wine connoisseur, this is right up your alley. Forced valet parking at $7. Not really much street parking around.

We had a lovely dinner at We Vino, a beautifully decorated restaurant. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. They have mandatory valet parking. Although we waited about 45 minutes for our table, the experience started on a positive note thanks to Jay, the manager, who was very kind and attentive, he even comped us a drink while we waited, which we appreciated. The ambience is truly the highlight, chic and inviting As for the food:    *   The carpaccio and wagyu tartare were delicious fresh, and nicely presented.    *   Our spicy margaritas had just the right kick.    *   The ribeye was good, though I personally didn't feel it justified the price point.    *   The cacio e pepe was underwhelming, and the pasta portions in general were surprisingly small. Overall, it was a good experience, especially for the atmosphere and starters.

Ok seriously a GEM of Westlake village. I'm obsessed with this place. More so for a wine night vs dinner. The wine experience is to die for and such a fun time! The bar is gorgeous and the interior designing is chefs kiss. The restaurant portion look like you are inside of a wine barrel. So clever! I love that you can taste wines from America to Europe. We had a great time. Service was great! Only complaint was that we were told the braised short rib has 7oz of protein when it barely had 2 lol. Otherwise, fabulous experience. The steak tartar was 10/10 and so were all the other appetizers. Entrees are meh but still a great experience. Cocktails are really good too.

I'm going to say that the service was really nice and the staff was really attentive. There wasn't many other people there, which is not great to see because they deserve more attention! They got nice modern comfortable decor and wide open spaces. We tried the tasting menu for each of us as well as an additional dish of steak. Champagne and sake were our choice of alcohol. The tasting itself was $88 and it serves 9 courses. I recommend having it if you aren't sure what to eat. All the dishes were presented nicely and tasted wonderful. We had an additional tasting after for round 2. Haha not because it didn't fill us up, but because we had to invite more people. The tasting is enough to make sure you're full. Plentiful parking in the lot attached. The location is a bit buried inside where the neighborhood is quiet, but it is definitely worth a try. They have sister restaurants called Omaniku in the 626 area as well. I recommend anyone to come try for anniversary, birthdays, date nights, celebrations, or get togethers! You'll impress them with the taste.

Ken is now running FOH, and he's a real pro. They have two new FOH servers who show their newbieness but they definitely have promise. I do appreciate they remember how I like my meat...and I trust they will get their consistency place which will move them from excellent now to GREAT. The menu is mostly the same (for those that loved their original menu - the chawanmushi egg custard and chicken wings are still there, though the chicken wings lost a little of their unique and beguiling crispness, which I hope they will find again. They flavours are still off the hook...The shishito peppers and whole squid seem to be missing) They also added a tasting menu which, for those unfamiliar with Charcoal Niku's style of modern Asian fusion cuisine, is a great introduction. At $88 for 9 courses ($118 for a one serving sake and wine pairing) the price is actually quite reasonable for the quality of the ingredients, prep, and presentation. All in all, I am very glad they are back, and if you haven't tried them, I could not recommend Charcoal Niku more. So much so I have friends from LA, 30-45 minutes away, who are constantly asking me, "When are we going back?" 'Nuf said.

We've been a loyal customer of Nonna's for over a decade, and it's easy to see why. Their…read moreworld-class customer service and authentic Italian dishes are simply irresistible. Let's start with their FRITTO MISTO, a mouthwatering combination of fried calamari and shrimp. The addictive sauce that accompanies it is a must-order, and we often find ourselves ordering extra! For a hearty side, try their grandmother Nonna's meatballs, POLPETTE DELLA NONNA. They're incredibly tasty and a great way to start your meal. If you're a fan of zucchini blossoms, you'll absolutely love their FIORI DI ZUCCA RIPIENI. It's a delightful dish that's sure to impress. One of my favorite salads is their INSALATA DELLA CASA, which is a refreshing and healthy option. Adding grilled shrimp takes it to the next level. Now, let's talk about their main courses. Their seafood and pasta dishes are all mouthwatering, but here are our favorites: 1) CACIO E PEPE: This dish is incredibly delicious and goes to another level when you add their grilled shrimp and truffle. 2) BRANZINO: Their seafood is cooked perfectly every time, and they often have HALIBUT as a special dish, which we love as a great alternative. 3) BOLOGNESE: Our son absolutely devours this dish, and it's a great option for kids. 4) STROZZAPRETI: This pasta dish is another great choice, filled with a lot of flavor. 5) LASAGNA: It used to be our number one dish until we started exploring their menu. 6) BRASATO DI MANZI: This is an ultra-delicious bone-in slow-braised beef short rib dish that's out of this world! And finally, let's talk about dessert. Their NONNA'S CAKE is the best butter cake ever! It's their grandmother's own recipe, and it's a must-try. Try to save room or split it with a partner, because you'll want to savor every bite of this magical treat!

We ordered carbonara with shaved fresh black truffles, Caesar salad, braised short rib and tiramisu. For my daughter's birthday, they gave her complementary vanilla bean panna cotta. We Loved everything! Only thing I'm not a fan of and it happens all the time, they always have three hostesses. Whenever I walk in, they're in their own little group chatting, looking at their phone's, laughing. They never look who walks through the door until I walk up and say hi then they turn around. They should always be attentive. Especially during a busy dinner time.
