This place is always late with their Kroger pick up orders. Why offer a time slot if you aren't going to be ready until two hours later? People plan recipes and dinner around picking up groceries on their way home from work and it's really inconvenient to have a plan to pick up at 5 am then at 415 be told it won't be ready until 7. read more

Well, another lovely Kroger experience. I went to get a balloon for my wife's birthday. I picked out the one I wanted, then went to floral to get it blown up. Nobody was there. I stood there several minutes. Then, I asked one of the guys at the front if he could call someone over and he did. I waited several more minutes and nobody came. When I went back to that same guy, he told me rather sternly "You have to wait. I told you to wait over there until someone comes." I told him I had been waiting, and he repeated that I had to wait. Well, turns out the floral department was closed for some reason. Thankfully, a nice woman asked if I needed help, and even though she didn't work in floral, she inflated the balloon. This Kroger badly needs to improve customer service. read more

This store is TERRIBLE!!! Is a scam I bought a gift card for 50 usd about 4-5 months ago. Such gift card was from KROGER. I finally got to use it about 2 days ago. It was defective. And wasn't able to use it. 2 employees tried to help me and couldn't called the manager. YVETTE terrible manners told me that it wasn't a scam it was defective and wasn't the store's responsibility that I should have kept the receipt from 5 MONTHS ago. Gave a number called. That number sent me to another number wasted like 45 min. And nothing. Sent me to a person to find the receipt but couldn't find it either. This is ridiculous. So now I am out 50 bucks a useless gift card and zero apologies. I am a single mother that I wanted to use that gift card to feed my kids. How is it my responsibility that kroger buys defective gift cards???? Someone needs to be accountable and shouldn't be the single mother that paid 50 usd for that gift card. read more

Bought a bouquet of flowers the day before Valentine's Day just to wake up and they were all dead. Called Kroger for replacement or a refund and was told they cannot do anything about it. I spent about 60 dollars on this bouquet to only last a few hours. Will be going elsewhere for flowers from now on as they are overpriced and there is no customer service or policy that protects your purchase. read more

never enough help or checkers. rarely do they collect the baskets from the parking lot and very few small baskets available. I was once told to go get my basket in the parking lot. they do seem to be trying to improve lately though. I still shop there because it's the closest to my home but the Kroger on 2499/1171 is much better. read more

Worst self checkout ever! Equipment doesn't scan well. The belt checkout kicks back everything about every fifth item. If the little Walmart near me would up their produce and floral game, I'd never step foot in the Kroger again. read more

This location is the less popular and pretty of the two sister stores in Flower Mound. There's no Starbucks here. The customer service desk has been closed down for quite some time. And, this store feels smaller and more cramped with some aisles being too narrow for two way traffic due to inconveniently placed displays taking up half the floor space. Otherwise, it's a decent place to find all the essentials plus some specialty items that other places like Walmart or Target wouldn't carry. Since this store does have potential I'm going to work my way backwards from 5 stars. They lose one star for not being "fresh for everyone" as their commercial says. Too many times to ignore, I have grabbed expired items from shelves that fortunately I was able to notice before paying. Other times, because it was less obvious in the store, I've brought home moldy fruit or chunky milk (that wasn't out of date). Furthermore, when I have taken these things back for a refund the employees have acknowledged that this is not an unusual occurrence. They lose another star because of the checkout process. If you read other reviews it seems to be a thorn in most people's sides here. Self checkouts are always open, yet apathetic employees who supervise these areas are often too distracted or simply uninterested in assisting in a timely manner. As a result, I always cross my fingers and hope to avoid the dreaded flashing light whenever I'm checking out. The alternative is to use a cashier but there are typically only 1 or 2 present at any given time, so they tend to have longer lines. For those who use the weekly ad to shop for items on sale, be aware that the prices aren't always exactly the same here as in the other Flower Mound store, despite the fact that they are roughly 3 miles apart. I figured that out pretty quickly after going there to buy things that were on sale but out of stock at this location. read more

The staff are mostly nice. This is the most humble looking grocery store in Flo Mo. Decent selection. What is absolutely aggravating about this store are the "save on your energy bill" sales people who pester shoppers. Generally speaking most people in Flo Mo want to shop without additional hassle. Would suggest driving the few extra minutes to the Bartonville location which is nicer, cleaner and has larger variety. read more

They have a great customer service. The store is open till midnight- great convenience in case you need something last minute. Produce are fresh, bakery have fresh baked in house assortment. Overall great store but the deli has had issues for over a year. Deli should not be closed at 6:20 p m on a Saturday. I have been numerous times only to find the deli closed early. read more

This is NOT my usual Kroger but I was in the area, I should have checked reviews before going in. This store needs management that is more attentive and checkers that want to work!! 11am during the week with one checkout isle open is no way to run a business, especially when the lady checker clearly did not want to be there. Horrible customer service by unhappy and rude employees I finished shopping and attempted to perform "self"-checkout on items that included beer, but I could not proceed without approval. The one employee with the name badge "Peaches" was standing nearby and appeared to be socializing with a lady. I walked up, waiting for her to finish her conversation. She looked over at me and asked, "Can I help you?" I said yes in response to her question and began to explain my situation, only for her to cut me off mid-sentence, telling me I would have to wait because she was helping someone. When I attempted to explain that I was responding to her question, Peaches cut me off again. However, this time, I asked her not to interrupt me, but in response to my request, she turned her back on me and walked away. So I walked back to my items at the self-checkout terminal and waited for Peaches, or someone else, to help check out. Peaches finally made it over to me after making it clear that I was the least of her priorities after responding to other folks behind me in the queue. After putting in her code, I resumed checking my items to be met with the message "assistance needed." I notified Peaches that I still required her help to check out. She walked over, muttering something unpleasant, and proceeded to pull all the items I had already bagged and told me I would need to check everything out again. At this point, I walked away as I had had more than enough of Peaches and Kroger's poor customer service. read more

The older, petite blonde woman and younger, tall, guy are playing a contest of 'who helps the customer last' and have no customer focus when the light is blinking at self checkout. I am absolutely stunned by an awful experience with a cashier at this store. I picked up prescriptions last week and decided to pick up some items since the weather was nice. I am elderly and recovering from a nasty humerus break and self checkout was not an option. There was one lane opened by "Marie". I thanked her for checking and confided that I did not care for the self check (not wanting to air my personal health issues). Well, I was then treated to an unhinged rant by "Marie", who was abusive and snapped that 'I was having a great day - don't you ruin it for me!'. Ok - this is uncomfortable - so, I said 'wasn't it wonderful to wake up to cooler temps and a light rain this morning?'. Marie's reply was to go off on a Bible sermon to me, stating that she needed to 'mold' me, as 'every word out of my mouth is a complaint'. This person shamed and humiliated me to the point that I have been upset ever since. She refused to give me my receipt until she finished her unsolicited lecture. My frozen food thawed on her conveyor belt as she verbally assaulted me while other customers starting lining up. I do not know this person, nor does she know me - and I am not one to make complaints! However, I now know more about this woman than I would like! She regaled me with details of her life (age, years worked at Kroger, her religious views, her Mother, etc etc). Way too much! Does Kroger not manage their employees? I AM COMPLAINING NOW! No response from Kroger to this atrocity. read more

What is the point of employees and management at customer service here wearing masks if they wear them on their chin like a bib? Either wear one or don't. But having it pulled down on your chin while working is kind of like flipping off customers. If you are wearing it due to employee rules, then wear it. If you're wearing it for your protection then wear it correctly cause having it only on your chin makes you look careless and lazy and inconsiderate. It's a poor look and disrespectful as obviously there is some reason you put it on the the first place. This is not just 1 employee. I received the worst customer service ever from Kroger at The Pines in Flower Mound on 7/6/19 @815am. Only self check was open and I simply asked one of the cashiers that I've seen several times. From there, it went down hill. She yelled at me, muttered that she shouldn't have helped my husband and I, came across several aisles and laid her hand on me while she spoke. I asked her to call her manager and she refused. I asked another employee to call the manager, and when Ed Lopez came. The employee I was experiencing the issue with made a face and stuck her tongue out at me. Seriously, is this the behavior to tolerate? Ed Lopez took my number and never called to perform service recovery. I should be able to grocery shop without being accosted. This was an absolutely demeaning experience. read more

They have all but closed their checkout lanes. They usually only have self checkout open and the machine calls for the attendant constantly so you just stand there and wait. The line was 10 deep on a recent Saturday. Plus, there is nowhere to put your full basket of groceries while self checking, but if you remove an item from the tiny bagging area, the machine throws up an error. I didn't shop here to become a Kroger employee. I had an item with no barcode the other day and the Kroger employee told me to go find another items, while nearly a dozen customers waited behind me. I have watched this store deteriorate from a good store to the worst around. I am not sure why Kroger is letting that happen. Fortunately we have a really good Tom Thumb and Market street nearby. Takes 5-10 mins longer to get to, but it is now very worth the drive. read more

KROGER CORPORATE TAKE NOTICE Management needs training!! For some reason they cannot get employee schedules out until the day before the new week. This leaves no time for employees to plan for anything like dr appt or dental appt. They NEVER know what day they have off!!! This is a constant at the Cross Timbers store in Flower Mound. It's even been so bad the schedule in the back of the store isn't even the same as the one up front!! KROGER CORPORATE this needs to change. Parking. There is never any. I always wonder if this is because the employees park in the customer spots. I am not sure but it does not seem to matter what time you go parking is always awkward. They have implemented the new order ahead and that is great. However, I like to pick my own produce and meat. The cheese bar is nice but they don't really change it up. This is also true for the ready-to-eat foods like chicken and grab-n-go deli sandwiches. It would be great when hoping in for something quick if a tad more variety were offered. The produce is usually kept fresh but the selection is limited. No leeks, no loose mushrooms. Think, the basics. The meat department is good but no aged beef or daily catches. The pharmacy is fast and reasonably priced. The service is always friendly. read more

This Kroger is well-stocked. It's clean. But the employees at the self-checkout are awful. They're rude and seem inconvenienced when they have to do anything. Tonight we encountered Tabitha, who takes the cake. We had coupons and after she saw that we needed help and the register announced it, she looked at us and looked away. She slowly took off her jacket and stood there. Another customer came over to ask her a question. Then she stood there some more. When she came to help she put her code in and told my husband to scan the coupons, and then she held her hand out for them. It was odd; every other employee does the coupons. She wanted to do as little as possible, as slowly as possible and was obviously annoyed having to do work. read more

We stopped coming here a while back because of the lack of checkers and their lousy attitudes and complete lack of management. Stopped in today to get 1 item (beer) thinking "how bad can it be? I'll self check and go." This is how bad it can be. 1 checker with a line and all self check lines full. I finally got to one and scanned my card and beer. They need to check my ID - OK fine - "help is on the way" sign lights up and I wait...and wait...meanwhile two ladies in front of me are also waiting for the ONE person running the self check to mosey over and do their job. One lady asked another checker in the area to help her so she could complete her purchase but he said it wasn't his job and pointed to J.D. (yes I got his name) who started yelling at me and giving me the hard stare when I asked the other checker to just please check my ID ( I'm 63) so I can take my ONE item and go. I found a manager who did approve my purchase but said nothing to her out of control employee. This review is going straight to corporate for all the good it will do. Come on HEB and put this sorry excuse for a grocery store out of business for good. Oh, and J.D. (and the other employees who don't give a damn) - where ya gonna work then? HEB won't hire anybody with a bad attitude and no clue about customer service. If you like Kroger, go to the one on 1171 and 2499. The difference is like night and day. read more

I would like to register a complaint: 1-week before Christmas 2018 I went to the Flower Mound, TX Kroger located off Gerault and Flower Mound in Flower Mound, TX to write a check for cash. I have been a customer of Kroger for over 50-years. As per usual, I went to Customer Service and handed my personal check to the person on duty, Ryan Johnston. Ryan without hesitation, said I can't cash that. I said why not, I come here all the time and have never had an issue. He stated it's against company policy. I asked, since when and he said always. I stated that I am an avid shopper and I have earned the privilege to do so. Mind you, I was on my lunch hour. He said, he has to call his manager. I was fine with that because I was sure the manager would have great customer service skills and be more understanding. INSTEAD, Brandon Miller comes up with this cocky, I'm the manager, I run this store and I'm not going to do it, it's against company policy attitude. I started to explain that I have been a customer for years and this was never a problem. He was very defensive, did not display the attitude or actions of a well-trained and skilled manager in a crisis...... especially in person. When I try and explain, he immediately out of nowhere says, DO NOT yell at me, I wasn't, oh my gosh. I was a little frustrated at him shooting me down in front of everyone and chose the opportunity to say don't yell at him, as a defense as to why he did not have a legit reason to not cash my check. He then told me ma'am you need to call Corporate at 1/800 Kroger and they will tell you the same. He thought that I was going to call them later, instead I called while I was in the store. The representative, stated YES SHE CAN WRITE A CHECK FOR $100, I placed my phone on speaker so he could hear her and ask any questions for himself. After, she verified it to Brandon Miller as a YES again, and we hung up, he had the audacity to say well I'm still not going to do it. What kind of game is he playing as a professional, with a loyal customer. He told me to call corporate for verification and I did. His name is not Kroger nor does he own Kroger, he is simply an employee with the title manager. I feel because I am African American, he was being a real jerk and stereotyping. I would have written this earlier but due to my frustration, and disappointment and the holiday's I chose to enjoy my family. On Wednesday, 12/19/18 @4:50p.m. Brandon Miller called my work phone and stated he wanted to apologize about the situation. Only because he knew it would probably escalate to him being reported. You know the apology is easy when you are behind closed doors and no-one is around to hear you say it. But he was going so hard and rude in front of his fellow employees and customers that I felt like and ended up looking like a crook or fool. NOT COOL and uncalled for. He needs customer service coaching and get rid of the cocky, I'm in charge let me show you attitude. read more

I really don't understand all of the negative comments. I've been using this store since they opened and I've always been satisfied. I've found their prices to be at least competitive. If you want customer NO service, you came to the right place! My pick-up order is incorrect. I received someone else's refrigerated groceries. I called the store to resolve - no answer. I used the link in the email for feedback - no response. Guess who gets to resolve this mess? Moi. So much for the ease of pick-up. Glad I wasn't depending on my pick-up order for dinner. If you're going to provide a service, Kroger, provide the appropriate means to resolve issues. Tear a page out of the Walmart playbook. Provide easy to navigate returns and issue resolution via the app. Might just help in retaining market share. read more

We have been loyal Kroger customers since they opened the store at The Pines in Flower Mound, TX. In the last year the self checkout lines have increased and the open cashier checkout lines have decreased in quantity and hours of service. We are disheartened to see Kroger take the direction of low customer service. I envision it will someday look similar to the Walmart in Lewisville, which is now fully self checkout. The loss of customer service is another casualty of greedy corporations. It's frustrating and time consuming to check out and bag my groceries when this service was previously provided by paid employees of Kroger. Multiple times an attendant is needed to assist with some issue with checkout which takes even more time and frustration. Purchasing a typical large basket of groceries in this manner is not customer friendly. If you go to this location, I suggest to keep your shopping list short. read more

What a clean and organized store! The parking situation here is not the best, however I think it's worth the walk and the wait because of the organization and cleanliness of thr store inside! Prices are reasonable and they are always having all kinds of deals. We are picky with the way we like things bagged so the self check-out is ideal. :) No need to worry about the customer service, though we have not had any issues with the staff. All the items in the deli area, meat, and fish always look fresh. We will most definitely make this our regular grocery spot! It's worth it even if it's a little further of a drive. read more

Been going to this store for years because it's so close to where we live. Not anymore. I've finally had enough of the LAZY staff (most would rather hide out and play on their phones), very limited selection of groceries, poor quality of overpriced rotting fruit, higher prices than other grocery stores, etc., etc. Also tired of them shutting off a majority of their lights in the store by 9pm when the store doesn't close until midnight? Why are they shutting the lights off to save money on electricity and we have to use flashlights to see the products and expiration dates (which you need to pay attention to at this store). Aren't they making enough money off of us that they could at least leave the normal lights on until the store closes??? Cashiers stopped bagging a long time ago and the one or two cashiers they have during the day disappear after 7pm. Poorly staffed. Not enough workers that actually do any work. There's this one "worker" that weighs 300lbs and hides out sitting on the handicap scooter over by the lottery ticket machine playing on his phone most evenings...really?...don't you know that looks bad for the company? Oh that's right, you don't care. This place sucks. read more

Just a quick complaint about the gas station on the premises: the attendant who was working on July 3 2016 at 10:15, completely ignored me. We were getting gas and I went up to the clerk booth.for lack of a better term, to buy some drinks. He JUST walked into the booth so I assumed that was a good time to go up there. I said hello a few times, waited. Nothing. Then after fueling up I went back and tried calling out Hello a few times, lifting the little pay window, but to no avail. Whoever the "man" is that is working there at this time/date clearly does not want to work. Fire him, hire someone who needs the job and wants to work. The one star is generous for the gas station. Other than that, I love Kroger and shop there 99% of the time! read more

Not laid out as well as the Kroger on Cross Timers but pretty much the same items. The shopping center this Kroger is in is nicer than the store on Cross Timbers with the "dancing fountains" and Starbucks. Their 3 for $10 Bay Bridge label makes for a great option when cracking open that second (or third) bottle. read more

DISHONEST store this location. I feel absolutely cheated at this store. I clicked for cash back at the self checkout register, but forgot to collect it. It should have gone back in the machine. But it didn't. There was supervisor present on the spot. But still the money is gone. Just disappeared. So DISHONEST. And the customer service refuses to help. Zero care for customer's money. I hate this kind of dishonesty. Other stores are much better at customer service and handling returns as well as providing good care in case of such problems especially money-related. Need to stay away from this store. Instead will be shopping at Tom Thumbs , Walmart or Target . read more

This Kroger was in terrible condition when I first saw it about a year ago. It was filthy, unorganized and very small. However, the did major expansion and reconstruction last year, and it is double the size of what it was. It looks a lot cleaner and a lot more organized. Some of the people who work at the cash registers used to be major a holes, but I don't see them working there anymore. All in all, great progress! read more

Greats deals on meat but the meat isn't very good. Got their ribeye special. The meat was very tough. Everything else is like every other Kroger. Good, fresh produce. Decent selection of cheese. I shop here because it's convenient. read more
