This is the Kroger that I always go too, mainly because its location compared to my work and home. They have excellent hours as well and are open really late, which is great for my lifestyle. I think the layout is a little weird but its nice inside. They have a decent wine and beer selection. There is usually some type of sale on wine as well, which is also great for my lifestyle. The meat selection is pretty weak sauce though and I don't go here to buy a lot of my meat. I tried the sushi from here once. Don't do that. It's gross. There is a decent bakery and produce section though. The staff has always been really friendly to me and courteous. Always answers my questions and helps in any way they can. Never again will I set foot in a Kroger. Never. Deceptive advertising abounds. I could give many examples but today only this one. Advertising a three day sale on Kroger Organic Product. I have always been a fan of this product. I bought 10 simple truth items. At checkout I questioned cashier, they did not appear to be ringing up correctly. Answer. We need to scan your card. I have a card so we scanned it. Then again I questioned. "Oh the prices will adjust at end" ok.... finished and no adjustment. By this time I have a line behind me and the cashier has no clue what the issue is. I go to customer service and nobody is there. I find a manager......the store is not busy.....he says go to customer service..... I go back and wait.....finally I get service. Answer to my problem is that "you have to download digital coupons to get the sale price! Really??? How would I know that? "It is on the sign." Ok....make an even longer story short!!! Take a look at my photos. The smallest print o the sign mentions a digital coupon. I am supposed to get down on my knees and read that??? And I have a Kroger card, I have the weekly ad, and now I need to download something? Don't even know where to start! Customer Service offers no "make it right" none. Repeats several times I have to download coupons. I say just refund everything. "Can't do that, we have to scan every item. No, zero, no, customer service at all. They truly, honestly don't care if you don't come back. Well I won't go back. There is no sense of satisfaction for me because they don't care!!!! They just don't care. This store is unclean. Aisles are crowded with floor displays such that 2 carts cannot manage to shop or pass each other safely. The shelves are often bare in areas and the pricing labels are not located appropriately. They are either not over/under the designated item. I was going to buy red grapes, but all the grapes available at the time were wrinkled...past their prime, not suitable for purchase. Sales items don't scan accurately...wasting my time and the clerks time to correct errors that would be found if there was any quality control in the pricing department. Not shopping here anymore...even though this store is the closest grocery store to my home. I suggest others go elsewhere as well. read more

If I could rate this location zero stars, I would. The produce is sickening (see the flys that cover the rotten red onion?!) and the organization of the store is laughable. Employees have generally been pleasant and I don't like to criticize a location that has good people trying to make a living, so I can only attribute the horrors of this location to the management. Milk and cheese is spread out among 3 different locations within the store making it very difficult to shop. If you might be interested in an organic product, you can not simply go to the isle that contains your category of interest ; instead you have to shop within the specific organic section that contains everything organic from pasta sauce to crackers which is frustrating and inconvenient to the point that I end up with fewer organic products that I might purchase otherwise. I hate this store. There is flour under the sign that says sugar, and sugar under the sign that says flour. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SWITCH THE SIGNS! The fresh ground peanut butter machine is often out of service or poorly stocked with containers or the machine is out of service. Since I've been trying out several markets, I need to give this one props. They are remodeling and this can be frustrating to find what you need OR you can reap the rewards with their clearance and mark downs they have from making tons of space in the store. I choose to horde the goods :) Most cashiers are very young, but the ones I've encountered were super nice and weren't mean if I mentioned price discrepancies. They were well trained to be customer service orientated and other Krogers aren't like that! I give four stars, because some meat selection is poor (fish prices were decent). Large cheese collection for the store size and they have okay supermarket sushi (not gross like sprouts, but not as good as a very large Krogers). read more

One of the poorest run Kroger stores I've experienced. Absentee and/or incompetent management. Never enough cashiers or sackers. I frequently have to wait in line while ten lanes remain un-staffed and bag my own groceries. Deli people are untrained and inattentive. They wait to stock shelves at their busiest times of the day, and busiest days of the week. Yesterday, their only two sackers were collecting carts in the parking lot, so ALL customers were having to bag their own groceries. Moreover, as I was putting groceries in my car, one of the sackers came over to me, stood there looking at me and waited for me to finish so she could take the cart. Unbelievable! Two stars is being nice! This is supposed to be a neighborhood grocery store, but sadly the store has some of the worst customer service as you're alway an inconvenience! I'm tired of fighting for a parking space, then going inside to encounter even worse service. As you walk in the Deli counter is typically my first stop as it's in the natural flow... if it's not backed up, they'll leave you waiting as they as their own work drama to discuss... I have yet to have a positive experience in the deli!! As you work your way to the produce section, I look for a larger selection of kombucha and iced coffee. Then you enter the meat section which is rather sad and if you're serious about your meat, go to Market Street! People can really make or break you, here the people don't impress me and their "fresh" products don't seem to be on par for other places in the area. This place is close so I do go here for last minute items but I go to other places as my go to and main grocery store! read more

I loved going to this Kroger when I lived in lewisville. Although, I dropped my credit card as the gas station pumps one afternoon. I called Kroger in a panic asking someone to go outside and see if it was still there. After 30 min and no call back, I went back to Kroger to find my credit card in the ground, thankfully! This store has been my favorite but no more. It is poorly staffed and stocked. The stocking of store brands is horrible. The selection in produce and meat departments is seriously lacking. The girl manning the Customer service desk is rude and abrupt-if she even pays attention. Management needs to step it up! I stopped in to the store on 1171 and 2499 to see if it was a store issue or a Kroger issue. The Crosstimbers store was totally opposite in stocking and staffing. I will continue to use the pharmacy as the pharmacist on 3040 are the VERY BEST! Sad to see the decline in a store that should be way more than it is. read more

I don't review a lot of grocery stores..but this one needs it. The good- Nice shopping center. Spacious store. The bad- The folks who work there aren't friendly. There is clearly some kind of managment issue. I have trouble finding the products I want and the layout seems odd. Even though the other Kroger is further away from my house.. and in an older shopping center... I prefer it. That says a lot. This store has treated my wife rudely at least twice.. and while my experiences aren't horrible.. they aren't wonderful either. I will stick with Tom Thumb and the other Kroger instead. I am not impressed with the meat department. I have recently thrown out the ground beef patties that are made fresh in the butcher department because they were full of gristle. I purchased a 3.5 lb. chuck roast and cooked it on low in the crock pot for 6 hours. It was so full of gristle, we had to throw it away. I couldn't even cut through the roast due to the gristle. I will not be shopping at this store again. read more

I started shopping here because it is so much cheaper than Tom Thumb, but I guess you get what you pay for. The store is filthy and smelly, the produce is terrible, and they are constantly restocking no matter what time of day it is. I can't even walk through the store without dodging huge pallets of boxes in every aisle and scattered throughout the produce and meat areas. I have shopped at this store for over 4 years, until now. The store is infested with rats. I personally had one run across the aisle in front of me. When I spoke to store management, they informed me that they are aware of the problem but cannot set traps on the floor, only in the back stock room. When I asked if other customers had also seen rats, I was told that they were sometimes spotted running across the rafters!! I would think that they would shut the store down for a few days and get control of this problem... read more

This is my local Kroger. It's been ok but been noticing some frustrating things. The deli kiosk goes ignored. This was the third time I've been there where they were not busy and it took them 45 minutes to get to the order. I then had to bag 300 worth of groceries by myself because they didn't have a bagger and in my way out noticed the self help attendant stuffing her face with bread... Not professional and getting rapidly disillusioned. Also, they need to get rid of that stupid olive bar and put in a salad bar. They'd make a ton more money and it would be greatly appreciated by the patrons. read more

This is the worst managed and designed store in the metroplex. Employees seem angry-No sackers to assist the register operator-The aisles are cramped and often blocked-Displays throughout the store are in the wrong places creating difficulty to get around. Close to my house. Usually well-stocked with everything I need. Clean. Favorite is fresh, hot, flour tortillas. Employees are friendly and helpful. There is a nice variety of natural/organic from which to choose. Parking can be an issue for some depending on what time of time of day or week you go. Overall, this store meets most all my grocery needs with a bit of a small town flavor which is nice. read more

Bad store policy...late evenings to morning will only have self-service checkout per management. There is not an option. If you do not check out yourself, you cannot buy from this store. Do you remember the retail promises made when self service checkout stands first came out? Self-service was implemented with the promise the it is an added value (for people with one or two items who wish to check out quickly); meaning it will never be the required or standard form of checkout. Always insist on regular checkout. It is a waste of my time and yours to do their job for them when you do not see the savings in prices. If they refuse to check you out, find some place where customer service is a priority. We must insist or in another 5 years, having an associate check out your groceries will go the way of sackers who once carried your groceries to your car - extinction. read more

Purchased bread & cupcakes after I took it home the cupcakes were hard,dry & stale!! I noticed the exp date was the next day, tried to return it after talking to the manager he said that's why the priced was reduced...NO EXCUSE! Poor manager.
