Chicken Pad Thai with bok Choy added

Authentic Thai food - service was kind and everything came out fast - the lighting in the main room was very cozy- I can't say enough how fantastic all our food was. If you know Thai, you know this is the real deal- drinks were lovely also! Traditional Thai veggies the carrots were nice and crunchy everything was fresh and perfection! Definitely will be coming back thank you Krua Khun

Can't remember the name of this. It's egg, mixed veggies with glass noodle. Delicious!

We happened to be in New Philly and wanted some Thai. I was surprised to find a place with such good reviews. We ordered our food and waited in the car while it was being prepared. The owner brought it out and we hurried home (about a 30 minute drive). Once home, we unpacked everything and it was still very hot. The Tom Kha was delicious. Full of fresh vegetables and chicken in a creamy, savory broth. The spring rolls were very good. It's hard to find a place that makes them this good. Then on to the main dishes. I was already satisfied after having about 1/3 of the soup and the spring rolls. I managed to get a few bites it though and hubby allowed a bite of his Pad Thai for this review. Nothing was spicy which was good. Hubby doesn't like spice and I'm always happy to add my own heat level to my meal. We had dinner, then dinner the next night and I still have enough noodles with veggies for another meal or two. We will definitely go back here. It's worth the drive! FYI, this place is takeout only.

I am back in town for vacation, and someone told me that there was a Thai food place in New Phila. I'm living in Houston, so I have tried many different Thai places down there, and many are pretty good. Naturally, I was intrigued by the idea of Thai food back at home. I grabbed a friend and we went over. I ordered the Pad Ka Pow, he ordered the Pad Thai. Wow. Unbelievable. It was the best Thai food I've ever had, and I've lived in three different cities. I don't know what else to say. The ingredients were fresh, the spice level was just right... The menu is a bit daunting, but if you haven't had Thai before, just do a little googling before hand and you'll be alright. I would only imagine that anything that you order is going to be good.

Why did I wait so long to try this place. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and spring rolls. The pad Thai is probably the best that I have ever had. It was packed full of chicken that was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The spring rolls were also amazing. I can't wait to try something else.

This place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! Delicious!!! I was very surprised to find a real Thai place in the area and hope many people support it because it is fantastic. The owner, Pim, cooks each dish to order and can be made spicy or mild. I will eat here every time I am back in the area. A huge menu too!

It was cute inside with some fun decor that you had to walk around and enjoy. We were here as a group having a catered lunch so again no idea what to expect. Their coffee specials looked good. We had four wrap options and two salad options to choose from. They also put out a tray of four different desserts. I chose the ham and Swiss wrap and the Italian. Both of them were surprisingly tasty. I never order wraps so I was happy to enjoy them. I had the pear salad with a balsamic dressing that was good. The desserts on the other hand were ok at best. For a place with so much hype around cupcakes I was surprised they weren't on the tray. Instead we had a choice between lemon bars, a strawberry shortcake, s'mores bar or buckeye bar. I tried both the strawberry shortcake which seemed to be a bit too dry and didn't have enough strawberry flavor and the lemon bar which my friend enjoyed but I thought was ok. Just didn't have enough lemon flavor or the lemon gooeyness that I'm used to. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I'm leaving this review to warn others to stay away. Rarely do I never find anything redeemable…read moreabout a restaurant, but there the only thing I can compliment on was the service which was prompt and she had a nice demeanor. I was hoping the coloring in the pictures was just off, but the cheese on the pizza and lasagna is indeed American cheese not mozzarella. I don't know if this is a regional thing or what as the restaurant has a large following, but my husband and I were in complete disbelief when the food was set in front of us. My lasagna was absolutely inedible. Not only did the sauce taste like it was literally poured from a hunts can, but there was no additional flavor whatsoever. They didn't even try to add any Italian flavoring, no garlic, nothing. The noodles were so overcooked they were just balls of gumminess mushing in my mouth. Not only was the flavor repulsive, but the mouth feel created an effect of repulsion. When ny husband asked how it was, I replied "I cant talk about it" as I forced down as many bites as possible before I stopped as I was feeling nauseous. He had the same complaints about the taste except that his pizza crust appeared to be literal heels of loaves of bread which was smothered with bland sauce, sprinkled with pepperoni then had the yellow cheese dropped randomly on his "pizza". This sad offering resembled a situation where your friend's mother offers to make you Italian food, but they scrounge around with what they have and do their best. We felt we would insult the restaurant with complaints as unfortunately this is their actual product, not a one off. We didn't read reviews or look at pictures before arriving and wish we had. The photos are exactly what you get. And the food tastes as bland and off as it appears in the pics. Save yourself and don't come here. I have no idea why this place has a following at all. The food is disappointing and not good at all. Maybe this is a regional thing or fans don't know any better. We ate a little then took everything to go and threw it in the trash as we didn't want confrontation. My feelings are mixed between feeling insulted for being served this and feeling sorry for the cooks who think they are producing a quality product.
