Looking for good Thai? Don't pass on this small shop. Good food! Good Service ! The shop is small with very little parking, those are my only two "negative" points. The host was very friendly and helpful. He answered several questions about some ingredientes. I ordered the Som Tom ( green papaya salad ) and it was very tasty and fresh. We did order the salad hotter ( spicey ) than we expected and they adjusted the spice level of one of our main dishes. My main meal was the Pad Krapow and it was delicious! Do not pass on this place. I placed my order a day in advance specifically to give the staff enough time to prepare it. When I arrived at the scheduled pickup time, I was told they weren't even aware that my order had been placed. They couldn't find my ticket, despite it being clearly visible on their order board, which made it seem like the order had simply been overlooked. To make matters worse, after the confusion was sorted out, I was asked to wait while they prepared the order. Unfortunately, I had scheduled the pickup time for a reason and did not have extra time to spare. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. Advance orders should be organized and ready at the agreed-upon time, especially when customers make the effort to plan ahead. Arrived close to 8pm on Sunday night for a late dinner with a friend and they were super busy with takeout orders! Didn't stop the amazing service and the Thai hospitality. We appreciated the staff for explaining and recommending dishes on the menu. The Pad Thai was perfectly wet and seasoned deliciously. Reminded me of my trip to thailand! This resturant was recommended to us, so we stopped by for some dinner. Luckily we were ordering to go because it was pretty warm inside. We were greeting by a really nice lady that took our order. We waited outside but it wasn't too long before our food was ready. Customer service was top tier, she was very helpful and still had a smile even though she was very busy and it was super hot. Our food was good, not as spicy as we thought (level 5), if you can usually handle heat I would recommend at least a 7. The mango sticky rice was not our favorite, sesame seeds did not fit in and the mango was really mushy. I would return for the Chinese sausage fried rice because it was delicious. read more

This was my go to Thai spot on the area, but never coming back. The disrespect of coming home to cold garlic chicken wings. Had a 12 hour shift at the Harborfest in Chula Vista so i was excited for Thai food and ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Crab Fried Rice, and Garlic Chicken Wings for pick up. Got home ready to feast as I was super exhausted. Evrything was freshly made except the chicken wings. Colder than the heart who packed it and gave it to me. I tried to brush it off and take several bites but the middle part was colder than the outer skin layer. Mind that i live 5 minutes from here, so it shouldn't be that cold. I'd imagine if i drove 30 minutes away with AC blasting directly the bag, then i could see it being cold a bit. As a consumer, a person with the food manager's certificate, a person with common sense, a person who has eaten fried chicken, i know a cold fried chicken when i feel it. Anyhow, this is it... Fed up...I'm done going to establishments that take advantage of people's hard earned money. Mind that i spent nearly $50 plus with cash tip, and this was a pick up order. NOT COMING BACK ANY MORE! Ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and the dish turned out to be the most tasty plate of drunken noodles I've ever had. The noodles were coated with this tangy spicy sauce that was absolutely delicious and the noodles and shrimp were perfectly cooked as well. Would not hesitate to order this dish again. It was delicious. 5/5 Mixed Seafood Pad Thai - great combination of sourness and sweetness; its noodles is great. I wish there's more sauce because any leftover/to-go PadThai absorbs the sauce and becomes little dry. Also, squid is little rubbery/chewy. 3/5 Mango Sticky Rice - love the sweet gooey sticky rice with the coconut sauce but I guess it's not really mango season. This proverbial hole in a wall has become our go to Thai place in 2024. First it is way closer than going to Convoy or Hillcrest for our usual Thai fixes. Second the food has been worth multiple return trips. We have our favorites. Drunken Noodles. Pad see ew. Mock Duck Larb. Krua Thail does them exceptionally well. All bursting with flavor and well portioned for price. Another bonus is they serve E-sarn sausage which a few of our favorites stopped selling for whatever reason and we do love that dish. We have always done take out. We are always welcomed warmly and have never had issues with our orders. Phoned in an order chicken satay and brown rice. I was only on a 30 min lunch break and went i arrived to pick up order, i was informed that they don't have it. The lady was very apologetic however i didn't help that he didn't call me back. I asked what was something that was easy to make and she said fried rice.
