Krystal was my HMUA for my wedding. I met her through my planner Sushie (Menage A Trois). I admire Krystal's HMU skills and love her easy-going and positive attitude; she made it feel like I was getting ready with a friend. The longevity of the makeup and hair was obvious with my trial in April, after which I went to the rehearsal dinner for my childhood friends in SF. My makeup was still pristine at 2 am (after I accidentally fell asleep with it on and guiltily got up to wash it off). With a quick touch-up, my hair was still cute the next day, so I wore it to said couple's wedding on 4/20. I got married in May, on a gloomy, rainy day. Krystal very luckily had a rare opening to do my hair and makeup for my wedding when my original hair and makeup artist got sick a few days prior. My original artist recommended her and vouched that she is one of the best, and was not wrong! Even though it was super last minute, Krystal made time to do a trial run a couple days in advance even after a long work day, and even tried her best to find a time that worked well for me given the tight schedule before my wedding. During the trial, Krystal helped guide me to a hair and makeup look that would suit me best and feel comfortable for the day of. We tried some different styles (hair styles, layers of lashes, etc) and were able to give insight on what styles would suit me personally. In the end she left enough room for me to think on things and speak up about what I prefer, but also give her professional input.
