After moving back to the area several years ago. I have been to this Krystal on many occasions. I can see why the reviews are so bad. The amount of times they have been out of ingredients is countless. Check your order before leaving as there has been times the order was incorrect. Food quality varies. One day the burger is edible. The next it's a wet mess. Drive thru moves at a decent pace when there's no more than 3 vehicles. Mobile ordering is useless. Even if you paid in advance and select Drive Thru for pick up. They require that you come into the lobby. Two times this has happened. Reached out to corporate about an issue at this location and have yet to receive a response. read more

The manager that we dealt with last night should be fired for his attitude and behavior towards me and my fiancé. After spending a great amount of time in St. Augustine at a dealership, we did a mobile order on the app and got there, sat in the drive thru for quite some time at the speaker and nobody didn't acknowledge us. So I pulled around to the window. Finally when it was our turn, the guy abruptly opens the window and says their system is down, but my fiancé showed his phone to him and said we had a mobile order. This guy was blatantly rude for no reason whatsoever and then tells us he's the manager. I don't know what his deal was but we just wanted our food so we can get home. When he gives us the bag, my fiancé said "what about our drinks??" He's like your order didn't come with drinks. Yeah.. okay!! Whoever this guy was being a complete A** and shouldn't be working there. We will be in touch with the DM sometime today to file a report. There is something always going on at the location. Either their Co2 is out, ran out of items, or have no soda. The staff is rude as hell, 0% customer service. I went today to grab some breakfast and after seating in the driv-thru for 10 minutes honked my horny just to be told they weren't open, even though their website and google said they were open. Was told rudely "We're not open" repeatedly. I drove up to the window to ask when they would be open and plenty of works say me and said nothing after five minutes I drop off. Then I watched the employees scrape the onions and pickles of my order. I guess it inconvenience the cook to much to make something someone orders and pays for. What can I say. I'm a sucker for some Krystals. You might get some cold fries, old fries, or no fries. You are literally rolling the dice when you go. You might get a burger with cheese, no cheese, or no meat. You might get cussed out by an employee. (that's never happened but I wouldn't be surprised). Open super late. We made a munchies run @ 3am and everything was closed except for Krystals. Maybe it was the beer talking, but my boy said the food was the best thing ever. It was his 2nd time. We don't do fast food often, but since we did--this place hit the spot. My boy loved with his meal of 5 Krystal cheese burgers combo with chili cheese fries & a drink for $7 and some change. The fries are insane. The buns were fluffy and delicious. He was in the kitchen making nom nom sounds as it was all going down. Lol! :) The service here was super duper fast & totally friendly even at three o'clock in the morning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for late night snacks with a drive-thru. P.S. If you're from the west coast and not familiar with Krystal burgers--onion, pickle & mustard is standard in a Krystal burger and is perfect as is. My boy added ketchup, but I'll forgive him. P.S.S. Don't ask them to change the "standard" because they will never get it right and not really necessary. Trust me. Literally sent my boyfriend to get me two breakfast biscuits And he told me he did tell them that two different times and even corrected the order at the window just to come back with two soggy sandwiches with sausage egg and cheese in the bread they use for their regular sandwiche... How is this location even still in business!?! We have came to this location several times and get turned around because they're "closed" well before their closing time. Came through tonight and the whole staff was in the parking lot on what appeared to be a smoke break. One of the guys waved us off in what I will take as "we're done". I'm not sure how I never knew about these spicy wings but now that I do, I need to pace myself! I've seen Krystal's before but never been interested in trying anything. My mom stopped to pick up a snack for me and got the wings. They are amazing!! The location is rather disorganized. The staff was more interested in gossip than customer service although when you got their attention, they were friendly. Special attention should be made to customers during the morning hours (5-8am) in the drive thru. Most people are headed to work and pressed for time. Not that it's your responsibility to make sure people are on time for work. But it should be your responsibility,as a fast food restaurant, to assure your customers are served with fast and good service. I ordered a bacon scrambler with extra bacon and a coke. Waited for the 4 cars in front of me. Get to the window and paid. He closed the window and came back about 2 mins later and handed me a bag. No thank you or have a nice day. Then closes the window. I placed an order through Uber Eats, but had missing my items. I went through all the channels and received a partial refund. I then placed another order for the items I didn't receive. When I got the second order, I saw items I hadn't ordered. I realized that what I was given with the second order was the actual food I was missing from the first order. Everything was ice cold! Not only does the drive through cashier not wear a mask, you are liable to not get everything you paid for. This Krystal location takes an incredibly long time to get through drive through and then does not give you your complete order. When attempting to call back to the store, they don't answer the phone. If there was a way to put them on a black list, I would. If I could give it negative stars I would. I understand it's not some high priced resteraunt and errors happen occasionally. Well not here, they happen EVERYTIME. Today was the last time I will ever waste my time and money going there and usually driving back to get the food I actually ordered and paid for, but with a screaming 5 month old that wasn't an option today.
