If I could put a negative star I would. We will never come back to this location. We don't come often and every time we do, we regret it. The employees are extremely rude. My experience tonight was the absolute worst. The lady at the drive thru was not only disrespectful but she was also very unbothered about the fact that they sold me frozen/half cooked food. I ordered the 12 piece spicy wing meal with a strawberry Fanta. My fries were hot however my wings were warm to the touch but nothing like what they should've been if they were cooked fresh like I originally requested. I took a bite of my wing just to find the inside partially frozen as though the wings were fried fresh out the freezer!!! Customers can get sick consuming partially cooked meat which is why there's a serve safe training about food temps and food safety for a reason! I've managed a Fast Food Restaurant before so I'm familiar but when I politely asked the lady to remake my meal because it was partially frozen she took one bag and walked away. 10 mins later she comes back with one bag and it's my wings ONLY! I said, "ma'am, I asked for my whole order to be remade." Her response was, "why do I have to remake your fries too if they weren't cold" I don't know what type of training you all provide but that's not proper customer service. Who would want cold fries and hot wings?? I'm beyond upset. So we decided to finally go back to this location by us (next one is 25 mins away) after another unacceptable disgusting experience months ago. More on that later. We drove into the drive thru and waited about 20 mins to order. The service is always slow so no worries we thought. We order a simple order, a Pick 5 with 4 cheese Krystals and a small Sprite then another pick 5 4 Cheese Krystals no pickles and a small chili cheese fry. They read it back to me and it was right. We pulled forward got the receipt looked good. Get home and find we both got 3 Cheese Krystals only and mine had pickles. As well as just regular old fries. I am beyond upset. We have less food then we paid for and we are exhausted so this is unacceptable. Saddest part is nothing will be done about this or any of the other issues in the past we have had. Should we waste gas and time going back to try and get a refund we probably won't get. No we give up we will not return. So a brief history of the last issue that was disgusting. We ordered a steamer pack and I was told to pull forward in a parking spot. I sat there for about 15 mins and finally went in. The older man (who was there tonight and gave me cringes seeing) was packing my order with blood all over his arms. He didn't have bandaids or anything just bleeding actively as he worked our order. The burgers here usually taste like they've only been defrosted in a microwave, but not actually cooked on a flat top. Buns may be stale. Krystal used to smack! Used to live near one in TX where my food was always hot (re: cooked thoroughly) and FRESH. I don't know if it's because I typically go late night, if it's post-pandemic changes, or if the company is just trash now -- but just about every order I've got from this location has been mid af. I don't even look forward to it anymore the way I used to, even if I'm tipsy and nothing else is open. I feel like I'm always disappointed when I'm done vs. that feeling of satisfaction. If you've ever had the microwaveable White Castle sliders that you can get in the freezer aisle of a Walgreens or grocery store, they will probably taste better than the sliders they serve here. May as well save your money. IF they cook the chix sandwiches right (the last ones I had were hard/tough) those can be pretty good. I'm more likely to order those over the burgers, if it's late and nothing else is open anyway. I hope they get it together or have an overhaul. I miss the Krystal I grew up with real bad. Normally, I'd give Krystal 3 stars, but I'm bumping this location up to 4 because of the 2016-17 teardown and rebuild. This place used to look like a dump and that was a big reason why I never stepped foot inside. However, the new building, which opened in March 2017, looks great. It made me want to go inside and check it out. It was my first visit to a Krystal in years. The company is making an effort to keep up with the times and stepping up their fast food game. The new building looks sharp. It's got a stone facade and big windows. Inside, it's bright and clean with vaulted ceilings and modern furniture and design. It's not a big store. It's smaller than your average fast food restaurant like McDonald's and Chick-fil-A. However, I do think it looks nicer than most and that's largely because at this point in time, it's newer than most. Outside, the parking lot is smoothly paved, there's a well-marked crosswalk, and even the landscaping looks good. A coworker and I visited for a weekday lunch. Instead of ordering the popular Krystal burgers, I ordered the #8 3-pup combo for $6.29 plus tax ($6.67 total). How affordable. Krystal pups are miniature hot dogs. On the electronic display menu above the ordering counter, the picture shown for the #8 combo contained 3 different types of pups. I asked the Krystal employee if my #8 could come as shown on the menu and she said yes. I got a regular pup, a chili cheese pup, and a corn pup. All three pups were yummy. The regular pup was quite plain and the only condiments available were packets of ketchup of mustard. Both the chili cheese pup and the corn pup were tasty. If you like hot dogs and corn dogs, I recommend them both. The combo also came with standard-issue fast food fries and a Coke fountain product (poured behind the counter). My coworker ordered a #1 combo (4 original Krystals) and inhaled his meal. We dined in and the friendly staff brought our orders to our table. This Krystal has a drive-thru. Pro tip: If you're leaving and headed south towards the south 120 loop (South Marietta Parkway), exit out the back via Freys Gin Road. It's safer and less of a headache than turning left onto busy Cobb Parkway without a stoplight. read more

I really should be giving 1 star for this, but I really love Krystal, and I've been to the one on South Cobb numerous times with no issues, but today was different. I got a short terse voice over the drive thru intercom and then got asked "how are you doing" and then the total of my order ran right after "how are you doing". I don't even care if I get asked how am I doing, but don't ask and then not give a crap....that's more rude than not baring asked. THEN I watch her put my drink in a cup and walk off. Then a few minutes later a man brings me my food......never says a word....just opens the window, sticks my bag outside and then closes the window. I start to ask for my drink and he just keeps on walking. So I sit there for a few seconds....and two my horn....nothing.....sit for a minute and then beep my horn.....nothing.....then the woman walks to the window and grabs my drink, opens the window, hands it to me and says "sorry bout that" with no emotion, no eye contact and the window gets closed immediately. Ok-employees are pissed they gotta work during quarantine I guess but then I get home to eat my food and I have a soaking wet burger, cheese that isn't melted and dry, lukewarm fries. Unreal! This is the first Krystal I've ever been to in my life and I just placed my first order about an hour ago. The first impression was absolutely horrendous, customer service wise.. I ordered a single Krystal just to sample. The lady who took my order (it says Chrisma on my receipt) said "One cheese Krystal, anything else?" I definitely didn't say cheese, but I know how fast food up sells go, I suppose I wouldn't mind for my first time, sure. I pull up to the window and hand her exact change. She looks agitated, closes the window and walks away without a word. Um, ok? Another lady comes over and hands me my bag, I say thank you, she says you're welcome. Cool. I look inside the bag, the burger is there but no receipt. Problem. I collect all of my receipts for bookkeeping purposes and establishments are required to issue a receipt or at least offer, and this establishment did neither. No big deal. I'll wait for them to realize I'm still here and ask. Except I continued to wait to the point where it became obvious I was being ignored. There was a Hispanic guy who was standing in eyesight of the window and he literally just stood there looking ahead of him until it got awkward and he walked away. I continue to wait. Nothing. I put my car in park. Nothing. Wow, good thing I'm not in a rush or I would be quite irate.. A minute and a half passes of no one in sight of the window so I start eating the burger. About halfway through, Chrisma finally inches her way back to the window. She opens it and stares... I ask if I can please have my receipt. She says "A receipt?" I say yes. She pauses, rushes the window closed and slowly walks to the front counter as if slightly confused. She realizes where the receipts are printed and slowly walks back to the window to hand it to me. I say thank you as she slams the window closed and starts loudly talking to a coworker. Ok. So she's being a jerk on purpose. Got it... Well. I never get fancy here at Krystals. All I know about is the burger and fries, and I figured that's all I need to know. Fish bites, chicken tenders, breakfast?! Nah, I'm good. "Gimme 4 cheeseburgers, fries, and a medium Sprite, please!... Better yet, y'all have Ginger Ale?" Might be needing that Ginger Ale a little later... There's nothing like eating sinfully, even while knowing you'll pay for it later. These burgers are small squares of seasoned ground beef on a bun, served with mustard, unless you specify otherwise. Very good, unique taste. Nobody else tastes like them except.... well, I won't utter their name. We don't have them here in the South, so I can't even touch on that. Don't want to. Now, if you're like me (and my friends), you will suffer for eating this a couple hours later. Don't worry, this will pass. You will experience an intestines-cleaning like nobody's business, and you will be ok. That's why I save Krystals for late nights every blue moon. For a fast food joint, they have some good food. I know it isn't healthy but it isn't about that right now (not in this review). Their milkshakes are second to Steak and Shake's (fast food wise). This is the first time I've come to the new Krystal here that's close to the new Braves stadium. However nothing has changed except the building. The food is still so so. Only 3 people here at one table and me at another yet the dining area is awful. Dirty tables and floor and not cleaned just like before the building was rebuilt.
