Today, I came in early morning for some breakfast tacos prior to reporting to work. When I arrived, there was only one customer inside so I knew that I'd get my food rather quick, which is a bonus because who really wants to be late to work? I ordered two tacos, one bacon and egg and the other chorizo and egg. The chorizo taco was absolutely void of flavor. I used both the red and the green sauces that were given to me with my order which still did nothing for this taco. Because if this, I elected not to eat the other taco. While the service here is quick and friendly, the food is subpar. read more

I find it odd that my last review is no longer here/hidden...I know I wrote one as I save all of them to my PC along with every photo I take. Any Who round 2 ...the chips are crisp and fresh and salsas are good..Queso is ok, but enhanced with a few squirts of red salsa...I stuck with the same as last time the 4 mini tacos are very filling and very tasty..wife went with chicken flautas ..nice crunch, piping hot...Rice was fluffy and fresh..Now the first visit the wife had the enchiladas..very solid plate of food, good sauce and very friendly service both visits! Took some family here for some breakfast tacos (since they NEVER had them before). Breakfast tacos and salsas were amazing. We went here several times since, I have to say the overall menu has been scrumptious! I've been really happy with the overall flavor and portions served. I ordered pozole, caldo de res, one barbacoa taco and one fajita taco. The pozole was amazing, absolutely delicious! The barbacoa taco was also just perfect, meat was incredible! The fajita taco, ehh it was a basic fajita taco but still good. The extras they give you such as tortillas, cilantro, onions and radishes for the pozole are great! The salsa was just right, spicy but had a great flavor. My girlfriend got the caldo and it smelt amazing. This was a take out meal so the only picture I could get because it was so good was the pozole. The servings they give are plenty as well! Being from Mexico I can be biased when it comes to tacos but that being said this place was pretty tasty. The service was good and fast. Not my favorite by any means. My girlfriend and I went here for a quick meal that was close to home. We both ordered Nachos Especiales. Pros: they have a drive thru but they were incredibly slow. We thought that's ok there isn't a line and everything must be fresh, right? Cons: we live less than 3 minutes from this location and the food was cold by the time we got home. We started with the free chips and salsa, all very delicious! For our main course I had the Flautas player, very yummy and full of flavor. Flautas very crispy but not greasy. Very flavorful rice and beans. I also had the one pastor taco because I had to try it...not disappointed. Very yummy and flavorful. $40 and all we got was some tacos, chips and queso and rice for two people. Over $8.00 for the chips and queso and the bag of chips that they gave me was barely the size of my closed fist. Super great tacos I haven't had tripas this good since El Paso. The service was fairly quick for me, I went inside to wonder. They have a lot to select from, so something for everyone. The alpastor and barbacoa are pretty good but incredibly expensive, I usually order by the pound but they charge $20 for 1lbs of al pastor meat barbacoa is a little cheaper coming in at &16.50. The red salsa was very flavorful, the refried beans were flavorful and didn't taste like they were prepared in lard. Scrambled eggs were freshly cooked and tasted good. The potatoes were inedible because their texture was spongy (purely my opinion of taste - not a reflection of bad food or preparation). Overall good food. Not recommended. Today isn't my first bad experience, but it will definitely be my last. I called an order in for breakfast tacos at 6:50am today. When I showed up at approximately 7:12 I was told they did not have my order and she asked what number I called. I grabbed my phone and showed her : (512) 296-2834; the same one listed on yelp. She proceeded to tell me that is the owners number and not the number you call to order. I said ok, well that's the number on the door - what is the number for orders? I never got a clear answer on the "correct" number to call. I then re-dialed the number I had previously called and SHE answered the phone. Okay... I dug this place. This is the 2nd time eating their food, 1st time actually going in to sit down. 1st time, my bf brought home the tortilla soup and I freakin' LOVED it. It made me happy on a chilly evening. This time, we took the kiddos in and I had simple cheese enchiladas--the special with queso, and they were awesome. Totally hit the spot. My BF had some spicy shrimp dish with onions that was super yummy and super spicy. I'd definitely try that one again as well. And... my fav...they serve bean dip!!!
