I was always so curious about this grocery store, so if you're like me and were nervous about going in and not knowing anything, just go anyway! There are prepackaged desserts in the fridge, but the owners let us know there are freshly made desserts and samosas by the cash register. We walked around and there were veggies in the front, dried ingredients, cooking utensils, savory snacks, cookies, and ice cream. We got some fresh gulab jamun and a similar colorful dessert with cream in the middle (this was my favorite) and a third dessert that was shaped like a funnel cake. They're also selling homemade Dubai Chocolate for $20.99 with their own packaging, which I thought was pretty cool.

I'm so excited to have a legit Indian market in Hercules. I saw it a few days ago and today the Hubs wanted a "fun" lunch. KS Indian Grocery immediately came to mind. After my sons morning walk, this was the obvious spot to stop and make Hubs wishes come true! First, the heavenly incense...sandalwood! So relaxing and something to come back to purchase at another time. I knew what I wanted and headed to the freezer section. Everything was there. I'm posting a picture of everything I bought for our lunch. Service is courteous. The store looks clean and bright. Everything is easily accessible and visible. I really like this shop and I hope they do extremely well. Easy to find and lots of free parking.

I stumbled upon this place when I dropped something off the UPS store a few doors down. It's in the same complex as Home Depot. I decided to go in because I wanted to see if they carried Rasmalai (they do!). I've been here at least 3 times in the past couple of weeks. My coworker who went with me once even commented how the store was so organized and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly as well.

    Perfect great store

So not as many grocery items. The veggies looked fresh. The line for food isn't too long of a wait. I watched as they packed the food to see if they pack as much as the other location. The lady who assisted me packed generously to the people she helped ahead of me. So of course I'm here thinking they do pack as much as the other location. But when it came to me, it wasn't even close. The palabok was packed where the container actually closed with ease. Same with the Kare Kare and Laing. The bihon pancit barely overflowing. If you check out the other photos of other reviewers, you'll know what I mean. And that's how the people ahead of me had their orders packed. I guess that server just picks and chooses who she wants to overpack for. I find that unfair. She looked the youngest out of the four ladies working. I spent practically $60 for what I got. Guess I'm better off going to Suisun city since I've never had been shaded on. The only good customer service I experienced was the sweet lady at the register who rung me up. She was pleasant and convinced to grab dessert. She's pretty much the reason I'm giving at least three stars for this review. The food was good, but probably would taste better if my experience was more positive. Only thing was the noodles in the palabok was a little overcooked. Good thing I got dessert cause the maja was exactly what I was expecting and enjoyed every bite. Other than that, I don't think I'll be wasting my time heading out to this location anytime soon. Took almost an hour to get here to begin with and had that experience as a first impression. I'd rather drive another ten miles to Suisun city.

Super pillowy steamed bun with ube halaya/jam in the center! Great cozy snack. I also tried the chicken asado one; eh, it was alright as the chicken filling was a little too gloopy for my liking. Anyway, yes this mart is ***fantastic*** if you're looking for hard-to-find Asian food goodies. This mart advertises the ability of customers to request specific items to be sold here, and the owners evidently are receptive to such requests (I mean, there's a freezer corner just dedicated to fruit-shaped ice cream lol). Also, I appreciate that interior-wise it's just an old-school bodega-style mart lol nothing overly trendy like j-pop/k-pop blaring in the store. Good shopping experience for me. :p No fuss with lot parking at all when I visited on an early afternoon Sunday.

Most recently, we had a 10% off coupon that stated in large writing it expired in 7 days, only to be told there was a different expiration date hidden in much smaller print. We were only a few hours past the cutoff, and instead of offering any understanding or trying to help, the staff argued about it. Most companies with decent customer service would honor something like that. As someone with 15+ years in customer service, it's disappointing to see an establishment with so much potential fall so short in this area. The staff comes across as cold, monotone, and uninterested in helping customers. To make matters worse, there seems to be little to no manager or lead support available to assist with bigger issues. Unfortunately, the customer service here has been a zero every time I've visited.
