The family that owns and operates this gem is Greek and they are not only amazing cooks, but they care about their community!! I have been there eating several times this winter and obviously homeless people would come to the door and be given water, hot soup, half a sandwich, etc. that just made me love this place more. Now to the food. First of all I had the meatball sub which was not only delicious but super filling. The meat was very well seasoned, and the fresh basil just made the marinara pop even more, add the freshly shaved Parmesan cheese and you've got something special. The homemade bread puts this thing into overdrive! Crispy on the outside, light, delicate but not falling apart and heavy enough to hold together all that deliciousness without being filling like you just ate a large pizza. Now to the ridiculous tomato basil soup. I love the clam chowder but the tomato basil is my favorite. Savory, full of flavor, smooth, creamy and not greasy. This in my opinion is the perfect pairing to the meatball sub. You're welcome! The customer service here is amazing too just like the owners and the food. You will always be greeted by a smiling face, and treated like family. You will not regret stopping here. I've eaten the Meatball sub, The Philly, the lasagna and The Gyro ( lamb and chicken) all have been 10 out of 10. The ambiance is like a neighborhood dinner with a small dining room. You will love it!

I ordered the BLT and had the chicken lemon soup The soup was very lemony and salty but I ate the whole bowl it was pretty good. The BLT had too much lettuce on it and a couple pieces of bacon but it was your standard white bread-mayo- bacon-lettuce-tomato. Prices not bad when the sandwiches come with soup or salad. Nice quaint family run local restaurant. I would try the Alfredo next time assuming they make the sauce in house?

So I do like Jersey Mikes and this is probably a one off incident but I don't know. I was enjoying…read moremy sub, set it down, and noticed a little bit of a glare back at me. It was like a little shimmer. I take my camera out with the flash on and sure enough it's reflecting that light back at me. I tear off the piece and closely inspect it and I'm positive that I had a little shard or metal baked into my bread crust. I'm not saying it'll bar me from ever going back but it did make me uneasy enough to be done eating an otherwise good sub.

My husband and I chose to pop in to this location for a quick meal between tournament baseball…read moregames because we have come to realize that the quality of the food at Jersy Mikes is consistently good and,,, reasonably priced. The store on Ulmerton Rd. In Largo, FL proved us correct. The store was orderly and clean and full of customers enjoying their meals. The welcoming atmosphere apparently encouraged them to find a seat and relax a while. We are creatures of habit... I always order the Italian with extra ham and no spicy ham, and a scoop of sweet peppers from the grill. My husband orders the Club, Mike's way, with extra onions and light mayo. The meal was very satisfying, but that wasn't only due to the quality ingredients. The two young men behind the counter, Ethan and Ollie were engaging and friendly, making the customers feel right at home. They knew the menu, skillfully prepared our orders, and were able to answer questions about a specialty sub, the hot ham. I am sure our experience was similar to others customers', and i hope the store owner/ manager finds a way to let her employees know how impressed we were

I had the Polar IPA to go with. It's super light crisp n bitter. Free parking, super friendly staff. Except the cute waitress who asked if we were Slush Cup parents! Now, my first culinary experience with this restaurant was a good one, their cheese burger with honey and whipped Brie?!?!?!?!?! Is a masterpiece disguised as a cheese burger the tater tots on the side? Meh! Nothing to see there. The most mind-binding, disrespectful thing I came across at this establishment is them calling a glorified Little Caesar's quality cheese bread with a side of dipping sauce a "Pizza" if it wasn't enough that this cheese bread was marketed as a "Pizza" which it is not but to call it a Detroit style Deep dish? Unforgivable! I wanted to love this pizza so badly but I cannot allow anyone else to spend $28.00 on a dried out, over cooked order of cheese bread. The service was good until I was given Diet Coke instead of Coke Zero. I swear service recovery is such a lost art. C-

The service was polite and prompt, several people working behind the counter making sandwiches as quickly as they could... our order of two sandwiches took about 15 minutes. They were both noticeably stacked with meat and plenty of toppings, piping hot from the oven! It was quite nice! I made it a point to pop my head over counter before we left and let them all know how good our sandwiches were and they immediately perked up with the accolades! Sometimes it's the little things that can make someone's work day! We don't make it to that side of town very often but I wouldn't hesitate to go back when we do! I also really liked seeing that they donated over $130k to Public Safety in Anchorage in January of this year!!

I asked them to check and was told their system updated and that was the actual price. I asked for a refund of the difference. No can do according to the 17yo manager. I returned the order for a full refund instead. Asked for a receipt on my credit and was told that was impossible. I asked how I could prove anything if my refund does not go through. Blank stares and finally told to fuck off when I refused to leave without a receipt. Incredible and ludicrous. Never ever go to Firehouse.
