I had the best experience at KS Lash! My lashes look absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier. The salon is connected to another spa and is a room within it. All of the staff at the spa are really kind and friendly even though I don't think they were affiliated with the lash service. It's nice to feel like where you're going doesn't push you to the side even though you aren't their customer. (But then again I'm not sure if they are or aren't connected!) The room is really nice and CLEAN. I am always so picky about where I go because they are using tools on your eyes and you wouldn't want a problem from dirty equipment! There was paper laid on top of the bed and blanket so each customer would have a new place to lay on. KS (not sure of his first name, sorry!!) was soooo nice and very accommodating! He sat down with me before my service and talked to me about length, curl, and what type of style. He suggested a few different styles that he thought would fit my eye. He custom made a set and shape incorporating a few different styles to make my eyes look the best they could! It was so nice to be able to talk about what I want rather than pointing to a drawing of an eye of what I think I want. He does lashes for a living and can tell what shape would look the best! If I were you I would definitely take his recommendation. I ended up doing a C curl lash with 8-10mm lashes. I like them to be short and natural, but full and that's exactly what I got! He also works so quickly which was really nice! I have laid in bed getting my lashes done for 3 1/2 hours before and it was absolutely horrible. He only took 1 hour to do an entire set! I have very sensitive eyes and so whoever I go to pro or not my eyes ALWAYS turn extremely red for about 2 days after my appointment. I suggest if you are like this as well to get eyedrops for redness and putting them in before and after your service. Also, make sure if the eye pad or tape is pulling too hard on your lower lashes to say something!! No matter what for me though it is always red so hopefully in the future I find a solution. In summary, I had a really pleasant experience and for first time clients you get a discount which was really awesome! He has probably one of the cheapest lash services in the city and is the BEST! I wanted this to be 5 stars SO BADLY! Let me start by saying my visit to the salon itself was lovely. They took the time to explain the different types, curls, and length of lashes. The application process was peaceful and relatively quick. The final result was GORGEOUS. However, it has been less than a week and almost ALL the lashes have fallen off. It's giving the chicken from Moana. Every time I turn around, a bunch of them are on my cheeks or in my eyes. I followed the aftercare instructions to a tee and this is not my first time getting extensions - I have never experienced lashes falling off this fast. KS Lash was highly recommend to me by my esthetician at Le Bon Skin Lab. They're a new lash extension business that's currently working with in Le Bon Skin Lab. This makes my whole trip more convenient since i can now get my facials and lashes done right after. I've gotten my lashes done before at other places and have always loved the right after result but hated the upkeep and how patchy my lashes would look a few weeks after. I normally will only get them done if i have an event coming up, but since I was here anyways, and KS Lash was having a grand opening promotion, i went for it! My lash technicians name was Kyle, he greated me and had me fill out a new client form. After, he sat down with me and did a quick consultant on what length, curl and style would work best for my eye shape. I had never had a professional consultant like this at any other place i got my lashes done, they normal just ask me what i want and if i didnt know they'll just tell me what they're going to put on me. No one ever explained to me the difference and why it would suit me. The procedure took about an hour, it was painless and the bed was really comfortable i feel asleep for a bit. I was really happy with the result, it looked alot fuller than what i normally get from cheaper deals on groupon and it didn't feel itchy or scratchy like some other places I've been to. I was hooked and was ready to book for a touch up appointment (assuming that it'll look crazy in a week or 2). Fast foward 3 weeks. I'm back for my touch up appointment, which i feel like i don't even need because these lashes lasted so well. I asked Kyle if it was because of the glue or the lashes they used, he proudly said its because of his skills, lol. Wanted to like this place as a returning/frequent customer. Visited multiple times and I would get what I wanted every other time. Besides the lashes falling out the same day because of the hard quality and the application. I had mink,silk and premium silk installation - honestly not sure if there is even a difference. You will be shedding all over the place. Two stars because the lashes look decent but don't get too close.
