Korean Corn Dogs - Cheese & Hot Dog Potato
    Bethany K.

Located inside of H-Mart along with many other great spots. The food court is on the right when you first enter. I don't like American corn dogs but these are amazing! You can get them plain but they normally come sprinkled with sugar and drizzled with ketchup and honey mustard. The potato one is my favorite. Really good quality cheese and dogs. Out of everything in the food court Ktown and Chicken Bee are probably the most kid friendly if you have a picky eater. If you have never had Korean corn dogs it's definitely a must try. I've had them at other places but this is the best so far.

This is located inside the H-Mart and let me tell you, you don't want to miss out on this place. We had the mixed Korean Corn Dog and the kimchi ramen and edamame...Everything was amazing! I am a K Corn Dog freak and this was the best one I have ever had. The Kimchi ramen was so fresh and full of flavor! Don't let the fact that this food court is inside a grocery store fool you. It's amazing quality!

First time having KBBQ in North Carolina and WOW!!!. I don't know why I didn't come here sooner!…read moreThe food was great, not out of this world but good for AYCE. Lots of different options, my favorite was the different pork bellies and the LA Galbi was great as well. Also really enjoyed the little side dishes (반찬). I really love the interior, they seem to have a good ventilation system for each table with a grill, there's a bar and the tables are fairly huge. Not super loud either, each table is spaced apart thoughtfully. Now, I have to praise the staff here for their AWESOME customer service. If I could give a 100/5 for customer service alone, I would. This was like Michelin-level elite service. They refilled my drink, changed my grill for clean one, brought over sauces, Really loved the energy and personality of all the staff that I interacted with :). Also my main hostess, Samantha I think was her name, was next level service like better than some of the Michelin star restaurants that I have been to. She assisted in grilling some of the meats whenever she brought them over and it was outstanding, I was just awestruck by the service provided this evening.

From check in to being seated, the experience was seamless we only waited about five minutes. Our server, Talaya, was incredible and provided outstanding hospitality throughout our visit. While the food was delicious, what stood out most was the teamwork among the staff. My water glass never sat empty, and sauces/sides were always replenished without us having to ask. The ambiance was relaxing, welcoming, and perfect for a casual meal. It's also very kid friendly, which I appreciated. I can't wait to bring my little one on our next visit. Looking forward to coming back!

Grabbed lunch from here recently and enjoyed myself!…read more The staff were polite and helpful throughout the meal. My wife and I ended up splitting the kimchi pancake as an appetizer, and we both got the beef bibimbap for our entrees. We didn't end up getting any interesting beverages this time, but there were a few draft and bottled beers available as well as soju, sake, and other variations of alcohol :) Anyway, our kimchi pancake arrived pretty quickly, and it was very tasty! I liked how the green onion was integrated throughout, and the dipping sauce was very flavorful. It looked like it may be a bit spicy but in fact was sweet-ish :) Our bibimbaps arrived soon after, served in hot stone bowls. In addition, they provided six different small side dishes, all of which were very tasty! I really enjoyed the variety, as they ranged from pasta salad to kimchi. Honestly, the bibimbap was maybe my least favorite part of the meal, which surprised me. It wasn't bad at all, with plenty of tasty veggies included, but it didn't blow me away. Maybe I should have added more of the bottled sauce they provided :) Overall, we both really enjoyed our lunch at Okja and would definitely come back!

Water and menus were brought out and orders for appetizers were taken. As soon as the appetizers were out our entree orders were taken. Everyone had a mix of appetizers and they were all so good. I personally had the steamed edamame. I could've used a little more salt but still good. My main entree was the chicken bibimbap. They provided a few complementary sides for the table. Fish cakes, kimchi, apple salad, cucumbers and 2 others (not sure of the exact dish names. First time having fish cakes and apple salad DELICIOUS. I need it every time I come back now lol. It was a calm day, not too many people in. The space is nice and clean. The waiter was welcoming and nice. We let them know there was a birthday and they bought out a piece of cake and sang happy birthday. I paid for myself and my partner but wanted it on one check to prevent my card from being swiped twice. There's a slight language barrier so I don't think what I was saying was conveyed due to my card being swiped twice. Not a huge issue. Overall experience was great. We will be going back and maybe even trying out the karaoke room they have.

Love that there's a restaurant conveniently inside a market…read more For the restaurant, don't expect table service. There's a place to grab your own utensils and complimentary water/tea. I was good with that because the food was delicious and such good value. Shared 3 dishes between 3 people: seafood stew, ddeokboki, and spicy LA galbi. Loved all of the dishes, all delicious with substantial quantity and amount of veggies. Perhaps what stood out the most was the ddeokboki since that's the best value dish I've ever seen at any restaurant--large in quantity that doesn't shy away in the amount of mix-ins (fishcake, cabbage, green onions, etc). Definitely will be keeping this place in mind for the next time I'm in the area.

While the selection is limited, especially if you're looking for hard to find fresh produce, the restaurant has you covered for standard Asian products. Our go-to (only order) is the Korean fried chicken. The restaurant serves a whole cut-up chicken for approximately $20. If you've not experienced Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) previously, you're in for a treat. We typically order plain, as we've found (KFC) can veer too sweet for our palate - but we are definitely in the minority. The crunch factor is hard to beat. On this particular occasion we mixed, original with a flavored option. I love original/plain but did find the plain to be under seasoned and the chicken weirdly cut up. At any rate, it was still delicious and would recommend. We've tried KFC prior and would order here again, but there is a chain restaurant on radar. KFC: 3.8

I was trying to find places in the area that did dim sum and ended up seeing this place that did both dim sum AND kbbq, which I was intrigued by. You mostly order everything via tablet, and everything gets sent over pretty fast. (Shout-out to the kind and very efficient servers!) They had a great assortment of different cuts, meats, and seasonings for the kbbq and all the classic dim sum dishes. The one dish I would personally pass on is the xiao long bao (soup dumplings), only because I think the filling needed a little salt/seasoning. And the ones I would absolutely order again are the seafood pancake, curry chicken, and BBQ short rib... Actually, I would reorder just about everything we had plus some more that we missed out on! For the cherry on top, they had little ice cream cups to finish the meal. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will be returning!
