The food was decent, lots of meats to choose from. Service was okay--we often had to flag people down to get anything done (change grill, refill water, etc.). The atmosphere was okay, too, pretty family friendly. All in all, a good experience albeit a very pricey one.

This place is great! They have all you can eat dim sum and bbq, including appetizers like Korean pancakes and shrimp balls. The meat tasted fresh. The 3 dipping sauces go great with the bbq meat. Orders some vegetable side dishes and salad and you're set!

This place is FANTASTIC! All you can eat Korean BBQ AND Dim Sum, yeah you read that right, and before you ask, YES it was ALL delicious! The incredibly diverse menu with every meat and seafood you can imagine, plus some of the absolute best dim sum I've had. The soup dumplings are amazing don't sleep on those! The service was fantastic and the staff was on top of EVERYTHING. They made suggestions and recommendations that were welcomed and appreciated! The ambiance was delightful. Perfect for a girls night out! We have a pescatarian in our group and she was also very happy! Is it cheap? No, is it worth every penny? YES!!

Came in during my late lunch hour to try it out as an Offline offer. Staff was super friendly and attentive. They do have a bento box menu but you have to request it. I got the bbq marbled beef, fried rice, spring roll, and pork dumplings box. Overall food was good. Beef could've been cooked a lil less and a lil more flavorful but all and all great experience. Will be back with friends to actually try the grill at the table experience

I went to Five Spice BBQ to celebrate a birthday, and it was a fantastic place to go out with a group of people! They really pull out all the stops by playing the happy birthday song over the intercom and bringing out a slice of cheesecake. On top of that, they offered a birthday special if you bring out a certain group size, the birthday person eats for free. This is an excellent All You Can Eat Korean BBQ style restaurant. You order different cuts of meat and cook it on the grill at the table. The menu is fairly extensive with beef, pork, and seafood. I particularly liked the beef cheeks and the shrimp here a lot! If you're looking for a break from meat, they have some dim sum options including rice rolls, turnip cake, and buns. It's solid, but nothing to write home about. Don't skip the fried Oreos and ice cream! I will rave about the service here. It was fantastic! Ordering on the iPad was so easy, and they were so quick to bring everything out and clear plates.I will definitely be back.

We came back again to celebrate another birthday, and were a little disappointed that a lot of the dinner items that were on the menu the last time we went (at least 3-4 items) were not on the menu this time . There was a soup even listed on the paper menu that we asked for and they said it wasn't available. Hopefully it will be more consistent going forward. I was looking forward to eating their custard bun for dessert and they didn't have it :/ Also, forgot to mention that they have different flavored ice creams as a dessert option as well

My kids took me tonight for belated birthday dinner. Korean bbq and dim sum. We tried most things of the beef selections, chicken, pork belly, shrimp, and veggies. Cooking at your table is fun and makes for some fun interactions. The staff were friendly and quick. All you can eat in two hours! Check this out!

I wish I could've gotten her name but we had the sweetest auntie waitress, she was so accommodating and checking in often, helping us cook when she didn't need to! The dim sum and really good and would come out steaming hot and fresh. Great selection of meats as well. Great atmosphere to chill and catch up with loved ones and friends.

This place is pretty great. It's $35/per adult for dinner prices. 12 years old and up are considered adults. Unlimited food for two hours. I really love the vibe with all the plants when you walk in, nothing like live plants and plant propagation to give a restaurant a lot of positive energy. You place your order on an iPad and within 2-3 minutes they usually bring everything out. My favorite is the beef fingers and head on garlic shrimp. Lamb, pork belly, cow tongue, brisket...all of it is good. The only thing I tried that I didn't like is the calamari but it's more of a texture and flavor thing. The staff isn't super knowledgeable about gluten-free options but basically anything that's not "BBQ" or marinaded is safe. Their three dipping sauces including their miso (which tastes like applesauce to me) is not gluten-free. I usually start with some crab rangoon and seaweed salad. The crab salad is made with imitation crab and has apples in it...it's different but not my favorite. Obviously you cook all of your own food with a hot plate in the. middle of the table. Foot room is very limited if you have mobility issues or like to move your feet around. You will be there for awhile, I usually spend 1h15m to 1h45m there. It takes awhile to cook all the food and the more people there the slower it will go. They will change out the tongs and hot plate anytime you ask, so if you're trying to do gluten free and someone cooks something that has allergens in it, they are happy to replace the items when you ask. Basically just order some meat and veggies and keep on ordering and cooking until you get the meat sweats lol. On your birthday you can eat for free but only with 5 other adults in your party paying full price. Cost for two people with two Thai tea's ($5 ea) plus tip is about $100. I've been here twice so far and the service and food was great both times. Will definitely be back in the future!

My favorite Korean BBQ spot in NC. I always come to Five Spice whenever I am craving Korean BBQ, it's the best! They offer many options to order from, including meats, veggies, apps, and much more. The service here is amazing! The staff here are very nice and welcoming to their guests, which I love, and the service is really quick as well. I always have a great time whenever I get to chance to go to Five Spice!

Order off the iPad. Love that.

I need a few more visits before I can add that elusive 5th star. But wow, this place is a gem. To find dim sum at an ayce Korean bbq restaurant is quite wild. Meats and sides are good quality. I love that you order from an app. It's the best way to order from a Korean bbq restaurant. The food arrives at your pace and you never feel pressure to order when a server comes over. The vibes are cool and the ambiance is typical bbq. Parking is abundant. Not the best for groups but you can split into groups of 6 if you so desire. I like it a lot...

Came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and had a great experience! There was no wait for lunch on a Thursday; we got to choose between the AYCE lunch menu & dinner menu (the latter seemed to have more options for meat, but tbh we didn't feel like we were missing anything by going with the lunch menu, which was cheaper). In addition to a variety of plain & marinated meats, seafood, and vegetables that you can grill, there's a ton of appetizers (seafood pancake, coconut shrimp, dumplings, etc), banchan (side dishes like kimchi & cucumber salad), and fried desserts (fried milk, sesame balls, etc) to choose from. You order using an iPad, which is convenient. Safe to say, we were more than satisfied after our meal here. We were also so pleasantly surprised when our waitress brought out a slice of cheesecake for my mom! They do have a deal where the birthday person gets their meal for free if you have a party of 5 people or more. Ambiance is nice: lots of seating. Service was great: our server changed our grill without us even asking. Plenty of parking available. 10/10 would recommend!

I would rate this place 7/10 as this place isn't too bad for all you can eat KBBQ for $35. The waiters were very attentive which was appreciated however when we ordered our apps, our edamame and kimchi came out after we finished eating so not really sure what happened. I wouldn't really consider this KBBQ as they didn't have any banchan which are a must when going to KBBQ spots. Overall not terrible but debating if I would go again. Would recommend getting coconut shrimp, spicy calamari, pork belly, and beef belly if you ever were to visit!

So, of course, I ordered one. A minute or two later, it was in front of me - a goblet filled to the salty brim with a well balanced blend of tequila, lime juice, triple sec and ice. Everyone else at the table followed suit, but the service wasn't so instant. More on this later. We were a group of 9, with reservations. The table was nicely located and not off in a corner. There were 2- and 4-tops all around us. Another long table, this one bar height, butted the end of our regular height table. The servers soon separated them for easier access. Goji y Agave is the product of a partnership between a Mexican chef and an Asian one. There are two menus for food, but you can mix and match between them. Several of us ordered a little from each. Few of us could finish our entrees, the portions were so plentiful! An early snag was placing an order for nine drinks at once - the bar was overloaded, and the servers couldn't get them out together. This created a bottleneck where we could see them on the bar, but could not get to them. Folks were thirsty! This repeated when bringing out food. Once the food arrived, it was amazing, but it was a long wait getting all the orders for a large party together and out at once. Fortunately, it was early on a non-weekend night. Sadly, things were still delayed. But I still recommend going, just maybe don't take the whole gang at once!

I was actually a little nervous going in because certain Chinese dishes tend to upset my stomach, so I tried to avoid some of the heavier noodle and chicken dishes that normally do that to me. Honestly, I think that was the best decision because I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and felt completely fine afterwards. I started with the crab rangoons, which were perfectly creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside -- absolutely delicious. Then I tried the pork-filled bao buns, which was my first time ever having them, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them too. Everyone else at our table seemed to really enjoy their food as well. I genuinely didn't hear a single complaint. We also ordered some drinks that were delicious, and both our server and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic and very welcoming throughout the night. The atmosphere and vibes inside are honestly one of the coolest parts of the experience. It somehow feels like a mix between a brewery, a florist, a bookstore, and a Chinese restaurant all at once. It's such an interesting and unique space that doesn't really feel like anywhere else. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would absolutely come back to try more items on the menu.

The seafood dumplings were second best, stuffed full. The soup based was amazing and it also came with some bread for dipping in the leftover sauce. The pork and chive shumai were my favorite! A little bit bigger than bit sized but worth the mouth full! Absolutely would recommend. I'll 100% be back for more food. The bar side looked to be more casual, the dinning room was full of high tea attire so I did feel a little under dressed, thought it would be slightly more casual. The oysters were fresh, perfectly briny, and disappeared embarrassingly fast. From there, we added a few appetizers: Fried Calamari, Polynesian Pork Belly, and the Hamachi Jalapeño. Every single dish came out quickly and tasted phenomenal. The calamari was crispy, the pork belly had that perfect sweet-savory balance, and the hamachi? Melt-in-your-mouth good with just the right kick. We wrapped things up with mochi ice cream because apparently self-control was not on the menu that evening. Huge shoutout to our gorgeous waitress, Ania, who was incredibly attentive the entire evening without ever hovering. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good!
