Really enjoy the restaurant every time we visit. Known for their burgers and they don't disappoint. Fries are tasty and served in little cups. Chili cheese fries are amazing. However, as a breakfast fan I tend to order the pancakes when possible. Plus it comes with free coffee!!

This looks like a pile of salad...but the burger hidden under that avocado was gooogeous!

Natsukashiii! This used to be my favourite burger joint in Namba, Osaka...so I was chuffed to see it come to London, but didn't really expect it to be as good. It's more like a cheap, happy fast food stall than a restaurant...but that is the kind of atmosphere I like with burgers. Yay! The burger itself was juicy, a little pink in the middle and gorgeous. I looved the huge onion, juicy tomato and perfectly squishy avocado that came with it, but I couldn't quite get my mouth around everything!! This burger requires some epic mouth exercise to work your way into the first bite! ...and then I tried the sweet potato fries. I really, really like sweet potato fries! These ones were crunchy on the outside, squishy in the middle and just perfect! Omnomnom they take the whole kua 'aina experience to burger heaven.

I was about to head home after an event when a particularly lovely bunch of yelpers said they were going to try and get a late food stop here. I've been meaning to try it for a while so FOMO struck and I decided to tag along! It's a fun place for a burger stop - bright and colourful, in decor and staff uniforms. I was chuffed to spot the Pineapple Burger on the menu as I have a lot of love for this humble fruit - in curries, as fritters, on pizza, you name it! The only unforeseen issue was that the extra centimetre thickness of pineapple in the burger made it juuuust too tall to fit in my mouth. I ended up taking it out and munching it separately between bites of the burger. I don't regret the choice though - the patty had a lovely medium pink tinge and I liked the taste the grilled onion added. Crucially for me though the burger held its structure as I ate without turning into a wet sloppy mess - an underrated but oh-so-important quality! It was already later than usual when we arrived so I wasn't quite as hungry as I might've been - luckily I had two willing volunteers to share my favourite side - sweet potato fries of course - which were delicious as expected. I also quite wanted to try a hard shake but couldn't manage a whole one - so we shared a choc and bourbon shake too! We couldn't taste the booze in it at first (clearly hardened drinkers that we are) but it got stronger about halfway through. I think others at the table seemed to be enjoying their avo burgers and salads too. The food and drink then were as tasty as I'd been led to believe - but there were a few let-downs that kept this out of 5-star territory for me. The servers were v friendly but had a fail at the very start, as a miscommunication meant another group were seated in the downstairs alcove that another waiter had earmarked for us. Instead we found ourselves a little squished around a smaller table, which I didn't mind were it not for the guy sat at the next table who backed his chair out into my ribs a couple of times because I was sitting right at the end of the bench. The cutlery that was plonked in the middle of the table also wasn't very clean, though I think people got involved with fingers anyway. I do like the vibe here though and the food was tasty, so peer pressure turned out to be a good thing for me! I'd visit again, probably in a smaller group next time - it's pretty good value for money for the area too.

I love kua'aina!!! It's like Hawaiian thing awesomeness! I went to this branch recently for pancakes and I'm not gonna lie I wasn't sure how they would be!! Well, let me assure they were fantastic! The blueberries and banana were baked inside the pancakes, so were pretty cool to look at and tasted amazing! Service is really good and the staff are so friendly! Can't really recommend visiting enough! Have to say, if you come for lunch/ dinner et the sweet potato fries, no matter what else you order. They are simply phenomenal!!

A little hole in the wall. Amazing burgers and milkshakes. Fast service and really friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Only negative side was that they switched the doneness of the meat of my friend and I (on two different burgers...) and that they were both overly cooked in general (a medium which was by far well-done and a medium-rare cooked medium). I would give 3.5 stars.

In an attempt not to scare people off from trying this place out, I'm going to go ahead and say 4 stars for now...and here is why..... My work colleagues and I headed over to BOBO Social during it's first lunch seating. Advertising its small plates and innovative burgers, there is also a special to have a takeaway burger and fries for a 10-er, attracting some of the media types in the area who may not be able to break away from their desk and have a sit down lunch. Food: As I wasn't in much of a burger mood, I shared a bunch of small plates with one of my colleagues. These are definitely small plates and probably my biggest disappointment with the meal. Though the servers encourage you to have about 3 plates per person - I would recommend having more than that - though at 8 quid a pop for some of the smaller plates, this may be pushing it for a lunchtime meal. Other spots in the neighborhood with a similar small plate menu leave you feeling much more full at the end of the meal. The food itself was quite good: The steak strips, watermelon, tomato and feta, & Crispy squid among my favourites. I'll definitely look to go back to at least try one of their signature burgers - the peanut butter burger with bacon sounds like it could be a delight. Venue: This is probably the best part of the spot. There is an upstairs with good lighting and a small seating area and also a downstairs to the venue. The downstairs can be rented out for events, private larger bookings or parties, and as an intimate feel with little cave-like seating areas in the back and private bar. I'd definitely encourage a try and to provide the helpful staff with feedback on the meal as they get up and running. This could potentially be a great addition to the Charlotte Street restaurant scene.

The choice of decor is a mix between industrial and old world which makes it a pleasant environment. The staff were very attentive and pleasant which makes a very nice change in Central London. I opted to have their special this month, and being that the 2014 World Cup is on, it was a football themed burger - The Ronaldo. This was one hell of a big feast, there's no need for any side dishes if you have the Ronaldo. The burger comprised of two patties, American cheese, bacon, butter fried onions and crispy onions, all served in one of their brioche buns. The meat was good quality and perfectly cooked to medium; nice and pink in the middle. The toppings were generous and perfectly arranged. It made of a hell of a challenge to eat, there's no way to get a bit out of it, so I did have to do a bit of deconstructing, but that just added to the experience! The perfectly cooked burger is placed on a soft bun, with a minimum of condiments. I ordered the "Chilli", which came with green chilli, American cheese, shredded iceberg and chipotle mayonnaise. For sides, you can get traditional French fries, UK-style chips, onion rings, cole slaw or macaroni and cheese. It was a decent burger (I was sort of surprised not to be asked how I wanted it cooked) that was dressed properly with lettuce (what we Americans call Bibb lettuce, I'm not sure how it's called here) and a tomato that was proper and red without core. And a good thick mushroom with bleu cheese that had melted in the heat. There is no way this burger's being picked up and eaten, but I'll admit that I did at least try to take one bite before falling back to a knife and fork. For a stateside equivalent, I saw Ultimate as a Red Robin, and while Red Robin makes some great burgers, I'd much prefer a local place. Off the bat it was a mixed bag. While the selection was impressive in terms of breadth and uniqueness and the prices reasonable, service was quite slow even though it wasn't overly crowded. However, when the food arrived all notions of a negative review went right out the window. Primarily, my Smokey Mountain Barbeque Burger was absolutely massive, and I soon realized (as had those around me) that at Ultimate Burger a fork and knife are key. The ingredients used appeared as though they were quite fresh and the burger was cooked just right. One thing I will say is that the burger itself wasn't overly flavourful, but the various compliments made it enjoyable. Additionally, while only a coin over a pound each, my sides of chips and chili con carne were a bit on the mediocre end of the scale. All in all, I stepped out of Ultimate Burger having eaten an absolutely massive burger, two sides, and 500ml of bottled water for under £15, and while it doesn't come close to South Kensington's Byron, who still wear the crown of Best Burger in London, Ultimate was a good experience. So if you're in the area and absolutely must have a burger, Ultimate Burger is a great value and a good experience. However, the strip of Tottenham Court Road surrounding the Warren Street Station is packed with amazing dining options of all cuisine's, so strongly consider those before resorting to a chain.
