Visited on Dec 23 around 6:05 pm. The place was packed, but we managed to snag seats at the bar, which was a nice save given how busy it was. We ordered:    *   Classic cheeseburger    *   Lobster & shrimp burger    *   Fries Because the kitchen was slammed, the wait time was about 50 minutes, which is understandable given the holiday crowd but still worth noting. The good: The cheeseburger was excellent -- juicy, flavorful, and absolutely lived up to the hype. This alone made the visit worthwhile and is what I'd come back for. The not-so-good: The lobster & shrimp burger was a miss. It didn't taste like a burger at all, lacked balance, and honestly was disappointing. I would not recommend this item. The fries were just okay nothing memorable, but not bad either. Overall: If you're coming here, stick to the cheeseburger. It's the clear winner. Skip the lobster & shrimp burger and don't expect much from the fries. Crowded, lively atmosphere, but next time I'd plan for a longer wait or come at an off-peak hour. Would return but with a much more focused order. read more

This was the best Caesar salad I've ever had! The Wagyu Beef Croquettes were amazing also. We didn't have reservations but were staying at the attached hotel so we were immediately sat. Great location in the middle of everything. read more

Last time I came here was 3 years ago when I last visited London. The ladies at the front are the rudest I've encountered. And I've lived in the US for years. Not sure what the rudeness was even about honestly, but the fact that open table had a free table and she kept telling us that's not true. But not in a nice way, like I'm sorry the system sucks can you come back in 30 mins I'll have a table for you. The food is overpriced. Our server didn't know what the plant based burger was made out of. She spoke to me like I was crazy. Like you know there are infinite plants it can be made out of, I wanted to know if it was a bean burger or not. The lobster roll was just ok. The plant based burger was quite good. And the fries yummy. The service was quick. But the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I don't recommend. read more

Stopped by here on a rec from a friend. Lobster burger was 23 gbp. Burger was on the smaller side. Overall quality of the burger was solid. Lobster on top was a nice add on, but it was a little dry. Reason I'm not giving this place 4 stars, was that the burger ended up being a bit tall, and was in the end pretty messy to eat.. Lobster didn't make the burger too. So overall this place comes across a little pricy. Ambiance was pretty good, and service was solid. This place is two stories, so we had to go up a windy stair case to get seated. read more

Second time around and still poppin!!! Lobster and burgers, who's the genius that thought of that? Give that guy or woman a medal. My only knock was the melted butter tasted like melted plastic. We found this location next to our Hotel at Canary Wharf. We liked it so much we ate their twice (we usually try to hit as many local, unique places while in a new city). Here is my 2 cents... High Level 1. Usually do not recommend any starters, but if your into shell fish, please try the Lobster Croquettes, these are great and the sauces are amazing. 2. MAKE RESERVATIONS if eating dinner at any of their London locations. 3. The bar staff is great and if you want something not on their drink menu, they will do their best to facilitate your request. 4. They have great options if you have specific food needs or Allergies First stop in was at their Leicester Square location for snacks and drinks, that is where we discovered the lobster croquettes. Drinks were great, staff was friendly and seating was comfy. We met 2 locals having dinner is the lounge area who said you gotta try their food. Second stop- I had their lobster roll and my wife had original burger. The lobster roll was one of the best. The lobster is served cold (cooked prior) with sauce on the side. The roll was crisp and buttery which played well with the lobster meat. My wife's burger was massive, we could have shared the burger and been full, but let's face it, LOBSTER ROLLS!!!!!! Her Burger was cooked to order and the sauces played well with the taste of the burger ingredients. Staff - I was seeing a theme in London, the wait staff seem to be laid back and this place was no exception. Being on vacation it was nice not to feel rushed, but with all of the dining out over the past 2 weeks, the team at these restaurants seemed to gel very well and worked efficiently. In conclusion - I would not be upset if Lobster and Burger wanted to open a location in Las Vegas (HINT HINT) read more

Found this place in one of my travel books and we found out later it was a chain. So yeah we know they paid to be in the book. I had high hopes for this place but it was pretty disappointing. My bf and I split the B&L combo that came with a pound of lobster and 5 oz burger, and got a side of lobster mac n cheese. Our friend also just got a regular burger and a side of fries. A pound of lobster isn't that much if you include the shell. We got it grilled and it wasn't super flavorful. That's where the butter comes in. The burger was a little small to share for two. It tasted like a normal burger. I don't remember if fries came with it or we had to order a side of it. Fries were fine also. They didn't seem super hot or fresh. Lobster mac n cheese was also fine. It wasn't particularly cheesy or tasty. It had some lobster in it but I would've wanted slightly bigger chunks. It ended being about 70 pounds (or 90 USD) for dinner. The chain is right next to china town and it is connected to W hotel. We got the Classic roll, and Singapore chili roll and shared it between two people. Both rolls were really good. You get a good amount of lobster in each roll but the roll is tiny. If you are trying it for the first time and have to pick one I would suggest stay with the classic. I will say the price is pretty expensive for the amount of food you got because I left the place still hungry :( Only recommend it for the experience. read more

Yes! Even us yanks who have been in many of Boston's Lobster Roll joints recommend this. We rolled in close to 11PM on a Saturday after a show. With 15 minutes until official closing time they were very nice to us and they were still quite busy. I had seen this chain show up during our research and I thought we might not get to one with sooo many other options available, plus we eat a lobster roll per day each time in Boston, so why? But with all the crazy going on outside, coming across this location was like finding a gem. Our waitress was the most personable server we had in all of London. She is Portuguese and we had a nice conversation about the differences in lobsters from FL to MA to Portugal. They get their live lobsters from Canada and Norway, flown in to a tank in Heathrow, and still live in the tanks at the restaurant. She even asked us about Luke's Lobsters in Boston, stating that she has always wanted to go there- and it just so happens those are pretty much our top favorite. We had the Panko Prawn appetizer, which is fairly large battered shrimp (not quite a prawn) but the seasoning and sauces were brilliant! Then main was the Lobster Burger (which has a lot of sauce, getting everywhere on our napkins and fortunately not on our blazers, and well worth it) and the Singapore Chile Roll. This roll is something you have to try- not too spicy, but a different flavor than we've had in the USA. Also, I didn't expect such authentic bread, but it was. Made locally, fresh and proper form. I have to say again, that being a yank this was not at the top of our list considering our travels right to the source, but this was more comforting than anything else we ate in London.
