Kualoa Ranch is a staple in Oahu and attracts so many visitors every day. The amount of different tours the ranch has to offer is amazing. My brother was visiting from Florida and loves Jurassic Park so I had thought it would be fitting to take him in the Jurassic Adventure Tour. We chose the bus option instead of UTVs because we wanted to relax and enjoy the sights but there is a UTV tour option as well. We were able to see a lot of the different movie sights and our guide was great at explaining and walking us through the history of the ranch and all the different movies and shows that have filmed there. Our guide even got it to the episode or scene for each show or movie, which was really cool. Once your tour is over there's still so much to do and see if you have time. There's a small farmers market store towards the front of the ranch as well as a visitors center that has a souvenir store as well. I can't wait to go back to do another tour and keep learning about the ranch and area.
We did the 2-hour UTV Raptor tour at Kualoa Ranch and bought our tickets online ahead of time. One of our friends ended up having to bail the day of, and they were nice enough to refund their ticket, which we really appreciated! The two hours went by SO fast. You make about three stops along the way and get around five minutes at each one to take pictures. Other than that, you're mostly riding through the ranch, but the views are absolutely beautiful and there's so much to see. I do wish we had a little more time to walk around and explore at some of the stops, but the ranch is huge, so I can see why the UTV is a good way to cover more of it. The staff was also super friendly and always willing to help take pictures for us. Such a beautiful place and a really fun way to see Kualoa Ranch. I couldn't believe how quickly the two hours passed!

From ulu to cacao, learn what is grown and then value added! You will be surprised! And visit the Kualoa Marketplace, honoring all Hawai'i grown and Hawai'i made. Even the beef, oysters, and fruits!
Our guide, Iven, did a great job! He was knowledgeable, personable, and helping us have a great experience. The scenery was breathtaking! I can see why this is a preferred site for so many tropical movies. No picture could capture the beauty of what we saw today. The speaker system on the UTV left much to be desired. We had difficulty hearing and understanding our guide while driving due to the muffled sound from the speaker, coupled with the sound of our car. We did not have issues understanding him when the car was stopped. The scheduling process was a nightmare with repeated unexplained cancellations before we were able to finally lock in the reservation. Customer Service did apologize repeatedly and gave us a 25% discount for our trouble. The on-site dining option was nice. We took advantage of eating lunch before our tour. This venue has the potential to be a five star visit. If the audio situation was fixed, and the upfront booking situation was fixed it would've been a five star experience.
Kualoa Ranch is a "must-do" when visiting O'ahu. We did the Jurassic Adventure tour and our tour guide was friendly, very helpful with taking pictures and very informative with so much knowledge. Had a great time!
Absolutely beautiful! Kualoa Ranch offers some of the most spectacular views on Oʻahu. I came for the scenery and left with hundreds of photos! Kualoa Ranch is even more beautiful in person than in pictures. The mountains are massive, the air feels fresh, and every view looks like a postcard. If you do only ONE thing while visiting Oahu then this should be the thing. Besides the beautiful views on the Ranch they have such a great history. You can do the standard movie tour and see the literally hundreds of movies and TV shows filmed there or explore a bit more on your own with their ATV tour or horseback tour. Everything is reasonably priced and our guide was fantastic. So much knowledge of history, filming, wildlife and lore. All done without a script in sight. There is a bunker built for WW2 that was never really used but now houses movie memorabilia from the many productions on the ranch. Staff everywhere was super friendly and be sure to check out ALL of the buildings as they offer food souvenirs and even a shop with meat and products from the ranch itself.
Did the full day package and was disappointed that many of the routes are all similar with same views. It is boring and misleading. On top of that, they are very stingy with the farm tour and only give you one tiny smaller than a quarter size portion of the fruit to taste. You can even get bigger samples at Chocolate stores. The tours were stingy, boring and they make so much money and yet they couldn't even be bothered to install outdoor ceiling fans at the buffet lunch area, or give us water bottles on the tour in case people overheat. It is very hot in Hawaii and definitely a concern that people can overheat. Yet no ceiling fans or AC, even inside the buffet area where flies gather because they're attracted to the heat. Definitely not worth it. Save your money at go Byodin Temple instead.
This place was very cute. We loved seeing the horses and seeing some of the scenery. We wish there was more free walking areas to see the animals as we really wanted to see the cows. The gift shop was nice.
I have seen the ranch several times but did not have a chance to visit until now. I am glad we got a chance to come. Jurassic Park has always had a place in my heart since the movie premiered and a big place in our family's heart since we started hanging out at Universal and taking the kids to see the Jurassic World movies. We love dinosaurs. So the Jurassic tour was the one I selected. There are so many tours to pick it was super had to narrow it down to just one which was a good thing because even being here half the day is a lot in the sun. Other tours that looked enticing were the movie tour, the ATV tour and zipline tour. Maybe we will do another one in the future. I love the beautiful ranch. There is so much land and so many photo opps. The tours are very popular, so when the site says they sell out, it is true, I made sure to book from home in advance and many of the times were gone, and most of the tours seemed to be at capacity. I also saw a comment about not picking people up from another customer. On the website they do have a spot to get picked up from certain areas. We were on the Waikiki beach strip and caught a ride from their bus both ways. I would suggest calling them direct, the were helpful in telling me the nearest spot since I had originally picked a farther stop and they helped me adjust it to the hotel next door, thank goodness! An overall nice time. They gave us plenty of time for photos. They helped by taking picture for guests, made silly and fun dino videos with a toy dino and pointed out all of the fun spots. I even got to pass the Skull Island bones even though we did not stop, but I had wanted to at least see it in person, goal accomplished. So many movies and shows I watch have been filed here, including Monarch and Lilo and Stitch, which I am also a fan of both. We loved both the nature and the movie magic of the area. I loved seeing their cattle and horses. Things that were a bit confusing. They told us to check in to certain areas. I would go talk to the people, give my name and check in then relax, only to be told right before the tour I did not check in the correct spot and that it was in the email. They literally sent seven emails, first of all, and second when I tried to check in why did you say I had to go to a different spot. It did not affect us in the end, but it was annoying. Then same with happened going home on the bus. I was told to check in with a lady. I gave her my name, she said okay and sat us down. When the bus arrived he said I had to see that same lady I check in with. She sent me literally to the end of the line to check in again! Why did she not tell me she did not check me in the first time? Don't know, it did not affect us in the end, but why so disorganized twice? Maybe a bit more communication or next time I will quadruple check that I am check in properly. I like that they had a lot of cold drinks that were not too much more than an ABC store, since it was very hot out there, but I feel like their food and souvenir game could be better. I know they are a ranch, but it is a missed opportunity to have more and better options. The souvenir shop had very cheap quality products. If I were them, I would have had a bigger shop, with higher quality material, separated into each type of tour, like a better dino area, a better movie area, etc...I did get one child some dino gummies and one wanted a sweatshirt and my husband found a hat, but we would have bought more if they had more ranch branded items. I also would have liked to have seen more little props for photo opps in the movie areas. Some places only had a tiny sign. Just a few more would have been great. Overall the trip was from about 7 AM to about 2 PM. So this is a great way to spend a half day on the island.
We had a GREAT time on our 2-Hour UTV Raptor Tour! Online booking is simple and day-of check in was a breeze. They ask you to get there an hour early, but once you're checked in you can explore a bit before getting your helmet and vehicle. Once on the ride, there's plenty of stops throughout for movie sites or to learn Hawaiian folklore. The views are incredible and the UTVs are a blast to drive. Absolutely recommend!
Amazing tours on kualoa ranch. This one was the 2hr ATV tour and for what it worth it wasn't to shabby. I enjoyed the service and hospitality. Would come Back for another tour they offer on property.
Our family had another FANTASTIC visit to Kualoa Ranch! We did the same activities as last time...horseback riding and UTV ride. Mine and my daughter's horseback riding guide was Swade! He was so friendly, knowledgeable and easy going. Our two hour ride flew by. I do recommend the early morning rides versus the late morning and afternoon ones. Also, each group of riders is no larger than seven people, not including your guide. In total, the ride is about seven miles. There were three different parties in our group and my daughter and I were the only ones who gave a tip to Swade. Please be sure to tip your guide. They really do appreciate it!

Kualoa Ranch is a 4,000-acre private nature reserve and working cattle ranch on Oahu, famous as a filming location for movies like Jumanji, Lost, Kong-Skull Island, Jurassic World, Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and my personal childhood favorite- Jurassic Park, earning it the nickname "Jurassic Valley". It offers numerous tours and activities, including ATV rides, horseback riding, ziplining, and movie site tours, set against a backdrop of lush valleys, cliffs, and beaches, while also serving as a significant cultural and agricultural site with ancient Hawaiian fishponds and sustainable farming. This was definitely one of the BIG highlights of our Hawaii trip. Our family enjoyed the jungle expedition from start to finish. Guides were knowledgeable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The photo ops and views were spectacular! Overall, we had a fun and engaging experience! This adventure tour is an absolute MUST if you're visiting Oahu. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some adventure! read more

We Came for the Ranch... and Never Saw It... While considering purchasing an Oahu Go City Pass, we noticed that several Kualoa Ranch activities were eligible for redemption. Because Kualoa Ranch has been on our Oahu bucket list for multiple visits, we decided to purchase the pass specifically so we could experience the Garden Tour. We booked the tour expecting to explore the iconic ranch grounds, gardens, and landscapes that make Kualoa so well known. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the expectations set by the website description. Kualoa's website describes the Garden Tour as: "Our Kualoa Grown Tour takes you on a journey through Hakipuʻu makai, where the past and present meet across working farms, cultural landscapes, and iconic film locations. Guests will explore lush tropical fruit and flower gardens, learn about modern sustainable practices at Kualoa, and see how the land continues to nourish our local community..." Based on this, we reasonably believed that the majority of the tour would take place on Kualoa Ranch's main property, with one offsite stop at Mōli'i Fishpond. Instead, not a single portion of the tour occurred on the actual ranch property. The entire experience took place at satellite garden locations, and we saw none of the iconic landscapes, film sites, or signature views we had anticipated. This mismatch between marketing and reality is what made the experience so disappointing. We specifically chose this tour -- and purchased the Go City Pass -- because of how the experience was represented. Had the website clearly stated that the tour is entirely offsite and does not include the main ranch grounds, we would have booked a different tour or likely skipped the Go City Pass altogether. After the tour, I politely shared this feedback at the counter, explaining that we were genuinely sad and felt misled. While the staff member was respectful in her words, her demeanor was noticeably dismissive, and there was no acknowledgment of our disappointment. We were simply told that we'd have to purchase another tour if we wanted to see the ranch -- essentially, that we were out of luck. A little empathy or acknowledgment would have gone a long way, especially for travelers who had carefully planned and budgeted for this experience. To be clear, the tour itself was pleasant for what it was: three stops, three small food samples, a comfortable and scenic trolley ride, and a guide who was kind and knowledgeable. Had we known upfront that the entire experience would be offsite, we likely would have enjoyed it more. Ultimately, the disappointment came from unmet expectations driven by unclear marketing, compounded by unempathetic customer service. Kualoa Ranch is such a highly regarded destination that we expected better clarity and guest care. read more

Kualoa Ranch is a beautiful place to visit, and I come here often whenever I'm on Oahu. I've done the ATV tours and the movie site tour, and my family has also tried the zipline and we've enjoyed every single one. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and truly reminds you that you're in paradise. The staff is always so friendly, makes you laugh, and adds to the overall fun. I always have a great time chatting with them. This is definitely a must visit because there are so many different experiences to choose from. I find something new to try almost every time I visit. It does get very busy, so be sure to arrive on time for your reservation. There's also a café if you get hungry and a gift shop with lots of fun items to take home as memories. It's an unforgettable experience and one of my favorite places on the island! read more

We've known so many people who recommend visiting Kualoa Ranch so we made it a must visit for our trip. We booked the tours on the website easily. We showed up and checked in for 1st tour, the movie site tour. The Movie Site and Ranch tour is 90 minutes long and website says suitable for all ages. We rode in an open air bus and saw some amazing views. We visited different filming locations through out the ranch, from Lost, 50 First Dates, Kong Skull Island, Finding Ohana, and more. Each spot had a poster indicating which movie. You also learn some history about the WWII army bunker which was really interesting. The ride gest bumpy at times but not horrible. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny, and very friendly. At the bone site stop, he gladly took pictures for us. We also did the ocean voyage tour, which you board a bus to take you to the pond. The boat takes you around Moli'i fishpond and then to Secret Island. Then from secret island you take a catamaran into Kaneohe Bay. The fishpond tour gets very hot depending on the time of day, and you're just sitting in the sun. I recommend lots of sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. The ocean catamaran tour was great with beautiful views of the island. Be mindful that it can get really, really choppy. We were lucky enough to see some turtles too. The tour guide was also amazing and hilarious. She also took some great pics of us. Staff are also kind and helpful. There's a gift shop too with lots of stupendous, and a quick service food available. Highly recommend visiting Kualoa Ranch. It's beautiful just walking around and every tour has something to offer. read more
Kualoa Ranch was such a unique experience. The mountain peaks and valley views were breathtaking, coupled with its historical significance to O'ahu, made it a must-visit destination. The ranch is famously known as a filming location for iconic movies like Jurassic Park, King Kong, and Jumanji, just to name a few. Kualoa Ranch provides a variety of activities and tours to suit different interests. My husband booked us a 2-Hour UTV Raptor Tour. Upon checking in, we were provided with helmets, goggles, and a scarf to protect us from the dust. Our knowledgeable guides, Shaydan and Ava, shared great insights about each location along our tour. They even offered to take our pictures and didn't rush us along the way. My husband and I took turns driving the UTV, switching at each site. While 2 hours may seem like a short time, it was more than enough to explore and experience everything our tour had to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure and highly recommend Kualoa Ranch to anyone seeking a memorable and authentic experience! read more
If you're in Hawaii, this is one tour you have to take outstanding views an history of films that were film filmed there, hundreds of them Jumanji skull Island Jurassic Park just a few. Have different tours as you can take bus tours horseback riding ATV tours zip lining you name it they have it well worth the price. It is a working ranch so you will see animals. read more

Kualoa Ranch is gorgeous so be prepared to take lots of pics haha. The view of the mountain and oceans is amazing. The UTV Raptor tour was the highlight of my trip! Highly recommend visiting Kualoa Ranch and doing this popular tour! The land is ginormous and offer sooo many different tours. I'll def come back and book one of the tour activities for horseback riding and zip-lining. The UTV tour is two hours long and you can either self-drive the UTV or book one with the tour guide. Each UTV has enough room for up to 6 people I believe. We paid $162.79 per person. They make you arrive 45 min beforehand but we showed up 25 mins beforehand and it was fine. You check in with the folks behind the counter and then they'll lead you to the area with the numbered table benches. They still made us wait for the group before us to leave before we even could line up by those tables. Once you check in, they give you a neck scarf (which you can keep) and try on helmets and goggles. You can bring your own goggles or wear sunglasses too. They make you sign waivers and also check your IDs if you're driving. Each time slot has up to 10 groups and you drive in a line, stopping at about 3-4 stops. Our tour guides were awesome and very knowledgeable in telling us facts about the different film stops. I'm a big movie/ TV show fan so it was really cool seeing some of these places in person! They had infamous sets from Jurassic World, Jumanji, King Kong, etc. They gave us plenty of time to check out some of the stops and take pictures. They're also really nice and offered to take multiple pics for us, including one with a big dinosaur in the background (they carry a dinosaur toy for these pics lol). Make sure you book in advance because they fill up the time slots quick! You will get dirty from the UTV drive so I recommend wearing something that you don't mind getting messy. Also bring a mask or wear their neck scarf so you don't breathe in the dust. At the beginning of the tour, they take your picture and then sell printed copy as a souvenir at the end for $20. They have a food court, gift shop, and bathrooms inside. There's also plenty of parking which is a plus! read more
Welcome to....Jurass.... Kualoa Ranch! It's much more than visiting movie sites! There's an Ocean Voyage Tour, farm tour, Secret Island Beach activities, horseback tour, e-bike, UTV, and zip lining. Living in Oahu, this was my first time partaking in Kualoa Ranch activities. There was a special 30% discount for Kama'aina last month, which was great! The regular discount is 15%. I recommend purchasing tickets online and also look for special promo codes. Kualoa Ranch is located in Ka'a'awa along Kamehameha Hwy. It's about an hour drive from town. Parking is aplenty! The gift shop was nice with many items, including a special 175th Anniversary Aloha Shirt. There was also a food court to grab a bite to eat. Through the gift shop, you can head over to the ticket counter purchase tickets or check in (show your local ID if applicable). From there, you'll be directed to where you need to go for your tour to check in again. We did the zip lining tour (also a first for me). It's one of the more pricier options, but well worth it. 7 zip lines with the longest of a quarter mile. Tour starts with a 20 minute bus ride to the zip line starting point. You pass by many landmarks, former military sites, and movie locations. That's already like a tour in itself as the driver was explaining everything in detail. I never knew this ranch was used as a temporary military base after the Pearl Harbor attack and the Kualoa Beach Park was used as an airfield. When you reach the base camp, you'll be introduced to your guides and geared up! Yes, the helmet and harness can reek of sweat, which is kinda gross. Bring some Lysol! They do spray it down after it's worn, but might need something stronger. The first zip line is the shortest, but it's definitely a nice introduction for first timers. After the 2nd and 3rd, you're more comfortable. Then it's already time for the longest line lol, which was fun! Our guides were awesome, DJ, Ha'o, and Kaulana. Their directions were clear and easy to understand. Professional, upbeat, good energy, a hilarious, and just make it a fun experience. Trying to get the Kukui nut into the bucket was fun. Need to brush up on my physics lol. Overall, an amazing experience. Our guides and all the staff that assisted us were very friendly. Everything was very well taken care of. The zip line station and cables all looked very sturdy and safe. I'll definitely come back to do other tours. And I wouldn't mind zip lining again! read more

Would definitely recommend doing the first ziplining time slot - not many people did it and our group basically got a private tour, same with UTV - since the experiences last about 2-3 hours. Kualoa Ranch was absolutely amazing! We did three tours and each one was such a great experience. Exploring the movie set locations was so cool, the jungle expedition was exciting, and the garden tour was beautiful and relaxing. All of our tour guides were fun, engaging, and had great personalities, which made the experience even better. You can really tell they love what they do. So much passion!! I would highly recommend Kualoa Ranch to anyone visiting Hawaiʻi. One tip: it can rain randomly, so be prepared with a poncho or umbrella just in case. Totally worth it and unforgettable! Our tour guides were Sam, Anna Marie and Shellsey and Laka! I'll definitely be coming back one day! read more
We did a UTV tour and it was so fun. This ranch was so big with beautiful history and views. I appreciated how they kept nature how it is and preserved it. We really loved our tour guides, they were so knowledgeable and made the tour so fun. This place is huge and it's perfect with friends or family to visit. Beautiful beautiful place. Kualoa Ranch is a private nature reserve owned and managed by descendants of Dr. Gerritt P. Judd, a physician and missionary to the Kingdom of Hawaii. It spans 4,000 and contains 600 head of cattle, 120 horses, and 200 sheep. It gained its notoriety from popular movies from the Jurassic Park series, 50 First Dates, Hawaii Five-O, and many more. They have many tour offerings here including e-bike tours, movie sites tour, zipline tours, horseback tours, and others. We went on the UTV raptor tour which lasted two hours. We wore dust masks and helmets and a tour guide led us through the ranch. We stopped a couple times to take pictures and learn more about the history of the land and the ranch. Some of the roads were bumpy but fun to drive over. We learned so much and had a ton of fun from our tour guides Malohi and Mahulia (sp?). If you plan on driving you should bring your driver's license. On site is a cafe and a souvenir shop. No matter which tour you do I recommend buying your tickets in advance. The scenery was beautiful and although we got a little messy, it was worth it. read more
We booked a UTV Raptor tour which is a 2hr long activity where you drive a vehicle with no windshield, side or back windows. It's $326 for 2 people, quite expensive in my opinion. It was pouring the entire time we were on the UTA tour even though the weather forecast said there wouldn't be any rain. Seems like the weather forecast is very undependable. The roof of the UTV has a rim that accumulates water and pours it onto your lap every 5 seconds. My goggles were so wet that I couldn't see the road through it so I had to take them off. But then the rain keeps on getting into my eyes making it hard to drive. The wind blows the rain sideways through the window onto your body and legs. Every single piece of clothing I had was soaking wet. The worse part - I had to endure this for 2 hours with nowhere to hide. read more

Lyon, our tour guide was super nice! This was literally the best part of my stay here in Oahu! It was raining when we went there and my whole family loved it! You get to drive out in rugged rainforest terrain and your tour guide will talk about the history of the mountains. I recommend getting the 3 hour deluxe utv tour and get a guide to drive you so you can enjoy the sights. If you prefer a more wild experience you can try driving yourself but I recommend just taking in the scenery. Amazing! read more
We stopped through and saw the mountain and the gift shop. The landscape was gorgeous with a beach across the street. The gift shop was half shop and half cafe. The shop felt almost entirely related to Jurassic Park. If I were to come back I think I would try one of the tours. It seems like a vast space and I imagine there's a tour for everyone. We saw Jurassic Park, movies (such as 50 First Dates), zip lining, and ATV. We've never seen Jurassic Park and that seemed to be the big pull so we didn't prioritize a tour. read more
I truly enjoyed my walking horseback riding tour at the Kualoa Ranch! It was a little too slow paced but the views were astonishing. The tour goes into the lush Ka'a'awa Valley. We passed through green forests, on dirt trails between lush green pastures, under the shadow of the dramatic Kualoa Mountains! I saw so many glimpses of the ocean. Also, the terrain has been used in many films such as Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Jumanji and more! You can't bring your selfie stick, but you can still bring your phone and take lots of pictures and videos. The horses are very gentle. The most beginner friendly horses you'll ever meet! As I said before, the tour is very, VERY slow and designed for complete beginners. Just so you know, they will weigh you and closed-toe shoes required. A must-do if you're vacationing on Oahu! We had so much fun on our UTV Raptor Tour would recommend it to anyone in the area. We saw such beautiful sights throughout and a lot of interesting filming locations to see. You get plenty of time to drive the UTVs around and it's a ton of fun. Our guides, Kai and Mike, were amazing and made the whole experience even better. They were our photographers and hilarious guides who helped us feel safe and informed during the excursion. We had a really great time, I'd say it was one of the best things we did while on vacation. read more

Kualoa Ranch was an amazing experience on our trip. I had booked 2 tours while we were there - the UTV tour & the Kualoa Grown Tour, with round trip transportation from Waikiki. We were picked up just a few blocks from our Hotel and taken to Kualoa. We were able to bypass the lines as we had prior reservations and were on the round trip transportation - they bring your paper tickets to you when you arrive. We had some time once we arrived before we had to check in for our UTV tour. We got some grab & go in the cafe & browsed in the gift shop. We ate at the tables just outside the cafe where we had wild chickens roaming near us. Our UTV tour was first - we checked in and got our safety gear and were sent to numbered tables to wait for our tour start and our safety instructions. The UTV tour was roughly 2 hours of driving a UTV through out the many many acres at Kualoa. First stop...Jurassic Valley. We were able to get some really great photos in Jurassic Valley, one of our tour guides Kay, took an epic Jurassic photo with hand puppet T-Rex. It was such a great experience driving through the various movie sets and beautiful scenery at Kualoa. There was roughly an hour between the end of the UTV tour and the start of our Kualoa Grown Tour, where we were able to check out the little museum, check items into a locker and make some souvenir purchases. For the Kualoa grown tour, you start by boarding an open air trolly type of bus that takes you down the road to Kualoa ranch's gardens. We saw their fish ponds, taro fields, cacao trees, among flowers, and other edible plants. We tried raw cacao that we opened on the tour and were told about the fermentation process and how it is turned into chocolate. Overall, Kualoa was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend taking a tour or two if you are thinking about it. We hope to be able to do their horse back riding tour next time around. read more
The ranch was a super cool experience to see more than just the beaches in Hawaii. The green mountains are so pretty and I don't think I'll get over how green it is on the side of the island. We did the ATV tour and our tour guide? Austin was very social chatted with us about his own experience and told some stories about the island the people in the culture which I really enjoyed learning. It rains a lot more on the side of the island to make sure you bring a poncho or a rain jacket just in case it rained only a little bit when we were there at the very beginning. You can do multiple kinds of tours there's horseback riding there's a big truck and ATVs and maybe more highly recommend to do this at least once, but I feel like once you've done it once it's not something you would go back and do all the time. read more
We did the UTV Raptor tour at Kualoa Ranch and honestly had the BEST time. The scenery was absolutely magical, like straight out of a movie (literally, because they film so many movies there). Riding the UTVs was such a fun way to explore it all. Dusty, bumpy, and 100% worth it. Our guides were amazing, super friendly, full of good energy, and really made the experience even better. They were generous about stopping for photos and helping out with shots, which we really appreciated. You can tell they love what they do, thank you Kai and Mike for such a fun experience. The tour was long enough to feel like you really got your money's worth, and we left feeling like we had a full adventure. 100% recommend this if you're in Oahu, it was a highlight for sure! read more
We chose the full day package for our group. That package included the Hollywood Movie Sites, Jungle expedition and the Kualoa grown tour. Our favorite was the Hollywood Movie sites because I love Elvis and my sister loves 50 First Dates. I hadn't realized how many movies and t.v. Shows have been filmed here. Kualoa grown was educational. You learn about the agriculture and aquaculture on the ranch. Each of our three tour guides were incredible!! Without their knowledge, expertise, driving skills and glowing personalities these tours could get boring, pointless and dangerous real quick. Don't get me wrong the views are remarkable and we could stare at them for days but you're on limited time and access. Strip away the stories and jokes and you're left with $$$ spent driving on private property. It's the guides that bring the experiences to life and make it more memorable. Bring cash for tips and if you can't then take the time to leave them a review. Scan the bar codes on their vehicles. It was raining on and off during our tours and you will get wet so if your tour date calls for rain, pack a rain poncho and umbrella. I would not want to do a self driven ATV/Bike tour in the rain. You'll get soaked and muddy. We also got to experience the buffet. It was a hearty meal. I thought we'd experience more made from scratch items because of the Kualoa grown tour. I believe the proteins were locally sourced but the cookies seemed store bought. At the time of our visit the buffet offered salad bar, chicken, ribs and white rice and fountain drinks. We visited the cafeteria the morning of our tour and had pancakes and breakfast sandwiches. Prices were reasonable and portion sizes were good. Overall it was a day well spent with my large family learning and seeing parts of Hawaii you can't see anywhere else. read more
We took the movie tour( bus ride) and the boat ride from their private beach. They had a 15% discount for military or locals. The bus tour ride was interesting, but it was super hot and uncomfortable. We went during the summer. I wouldn't do the bus tour again, they have lots of other options like e-bike, UTV & horse, that looked less hot and more fun. The kids were too young for those options. The boat ride was the best part, it wasn't hot and it was fun. We saw turtles, dolphins, China man hat and the beautiful coast. The private beach was beautiful, they have a day pass option to go there but I looked into it and it was pricey. We had already spent enough on the tour. Maybe next time. read more

This was one of the best tours I've ever been on. It was the ultra E bike tour at Kualoa ranch. Our guides Tony and RK were the best. Tony gave us a on hands on tour of beautiful areas and information on the land. The ride itself was brutal after a rain but it was well worth it if I could afford it I would go again. I took my 3 sons and my husband and we had a blast. We were filthy. It's not for the week you need to be experience riders on a E bike. read more
This is place is soooo big and soooo busy.... You have to have reservations... and they are booked out at least two weeks in advance especially July.... We walked around, but we didn't get to take any tours... the tours run around $150.00 a person... Parking is free but not a lot of spaces... they have buses that pick up at other locations... read more

Such an amazing experience with beautiful views and friendly tour guides. The ATV option is pricey but kamaina rate knocks 15% off the top. The tour books up quickly so plan in advance and book online else a surcharge is added on if you call for a reservation and speak to a live person. Prior to the tour I called for information about the length and ride..the person assisting me was a little rude and possibly tired of answering the same questions. After booking the tour for six people we had issues with times and so I called for assistance...again not helpful and rude...I guess they have so many bookings they don't care if you book or not. However, despite poor phone and also had issues with the admin people checking us in...the guides themselves are wonderful. Fun with great stories! Highly suggest doing the ATV tour as you visit many of the movie and television sites. We saw the sets and props for Lost, Jurassic 1 and 2, Kong, and some other shows I have never heard of but filmed in Hawaii. The views of the ocean, wind, sun, mountains, greenery were spectacular. Nice to be reminded we live in a beautiful state with so many natural visual treasures. Probably one of the coolest parts of the tour was seeing the oyster farms. Great destination to visit. Guides were great. Phone and window staff...not so much. read more

The zipline experience at Kualoa Ranch is definitely worth trying. This one was not scary at all, so great for beginners. After each line, you may do a small few minute walk to get to the next line. The views are great and the guides make it very interactive. Highly recommend read more

I have been to the ranch four different times now with friends who have visited the island. I've done the ATV tour three times, and I just completed my first horseback ride there. I must say I was very impressed. The horseback riding was epic! Our tour guide, Belinda, was so kind and helpful. read more

You should be able to get 2 UTVs. Each fits 3-4. You'll just have to book the self drive tours with a guide. Worth it! We had fun and didn't have to share a UTV since we had 3.
Debating on Jurassic adventure tour and 2 hour UTV raptor tour. Are they both similar stops and photo opportunities or ultimately the same? Or would it be recommended to maybe even do both if there are multiple differences?

I believe you could do both if you schedule first thing in the morning and the other early afternoon. It does make for a very full day, but would be worth it.
How do you get back to Wakiki if lyft/uber isn't avalible on the way back?
I think I saw a few buses on my way there from Waikiki. Not sure how often they run

I get bouts of motion sickness occasionally and I had no issues, plus there are 4-5 stops along the tour where you get out and walk around for 10-15 minutes.…

For the secret island how many other families are there during the same time on average?
When I went around 12:00 pm, it wasn't as crowded as Waikiki but there were a few families there but plenty of open space.
What is the difference between the Jurassic Adventure Tour ($139.99) and the Best of Kualoa Experience Package ($149.99) aside from the cost?

Trying to choose between the 2.5 hour jurassic tour or best of tour. We want to take pictures with the Jurassic park sites and kong sites. Is that possible with the 2.5 or movie sites tour? We don't mind spending the day here

Does the 2.5 hour jurassic tour also take you by the kong stuff?
Jurassic expedition is more time in the ATVs, and you only visit Jurassic Park filming sites. You briefly pass other movie sites while driving (Pearl Harbor, etc.) but don't learn anything about them or get out of the vehicle.

Would I be able to see the cafe from 50 first dates starting Adam sandler?
If I'm not mistaken, the cafe was built near the Secret beach area and it was removed after the film. We did the Ocean Voyage tour, and they mentioned it.
Who drives for the 2 hour ATV tour if there is no one over 21 in our group?
If you book the tour, you can talk to the ticket office to see if your guide can drive for you. We have done it before and I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. If anything, call to book and explain you'd want a guide to drive for you if possible. 🤙🏻
I will purchase the Hawaii Go Pass which includes the 1/2 day at the secret beach? While there, I would like to book ATV raptor for our family of 5. What is best way to do both? Do beach first? How do they handle "half day" use?
We only did the secret island beach but I have to tell you that the words "1/2 day" are a misnomer. We got 2.5 hours on the beach and it goes really fast. The secret island was great but I would not equate 2.5 hours to half a day.

I did the ebike tour and I LOVED every minute of the tour!! Yes, you can off the bike and take pictures!!!
What time of day is the best time to go?
In the morning so you beat the crowds there and heading to lunch spots after.
