1st time to dine in at Kue's Cafe last evening and we were both disappointed not only for the value but just so so food as well. For the price it was China King take out quality. The food presentation was non existent, Taste was just average. We ordered a glass of wine and they did not have what we requested, a simple house chardonnay and took the substitute and at $8.50 per small glass was we felt very overpriced. The ambiance was cold and no character. Too many bright ceiling light. If you want good food with this kind of quality I would suggest you go to take out. Food and service top notch. I had Thai fried rice with combo meat and companion had Thai fried rice with seafood combo. Portion was generous on both dishes and I requested Thai hot #5 (goes to 10) and it was made to perfection. Server on his game and will not hesitate in returning soon! Compliments to the chef! We ate at Kue's yesterday and it was awesome. Everything was fresh, even the little wontons to put in the soup were made in-house and NOT STALE! What a difference it makes. We couldn't find one thing to be critical about, except maybe (LOL) the owner coming by the table so often to make sure we were happy. He was so concerned it made the whole lunch a true pleasure. We'll be going back often to try new dishes. We tried curry rice, Mongolian beef, fresh rolls, and cream cheese wontons. Even the egg-drop soup was delicious and had a LOT of egg drops in it, much more than any other restaurant we've ever been to. read more

I have been searching for quite some time for good Chinese food in the area and this one fit the bill. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the interior was not nice at all. This place is inside of an old Pizza Hut. Our server was super sweet, friendly and very attentive. My boyfriend had the fried rice with beef and pork, and I had chicken lo mein. Both meals were very tasty and they reminded me of the Chinese food we used to get as kids. We also had the crab Rangoon, which was delicious. My first time visit at 11:15 am on a Wednesday with a friend. The entrance was quite far from the handicapped parking although our waiter said that will be rectified. We both order fried rice with pork, but one was Chinese style (with soy sauce) and the other Thai style. We had egg drop soup (excellent) and a cup of fried flat noodles to share. Our waiter Mike brought some duck sauce for dipping. We both enjoyed our dishes and brought plenty home for another meal. The place was really filling up by the time we left. We ordered the mongolian beef and the General Tso's chicken and both were top qaulity, in both ingredients, presentation and taste. Our server, Mike was both attentive and thoughtful, checking on us frequently enough and helping me have a great meal, working around my egg alergy. Stopped in for lunch. Sat in a corner booth. By the time we left there was about 7 tables that had come and gone. I ordered the Mongolian beef hot. He ordered the orange chicken and they made his hot as well. It was nice that they added spice to dishes that do not traditionally have spice. Everything was delicious. The egg drop soup was great. The hot tea was very very good. It was clean and neat inside. Very friendly staff. Prices are fair, especially for lunch (have not had evening meals so don't know what size the portions are.) The food was on the fresh and savory side and not the sweet/salty stuff you get at every other chances place around here. Will definitely return. read more

I was a regular at their Michigan restaurant and have been to the new restaurant in Dunedin, Florida 3 times. I have tried every dish through the years and I have loved them all. Specifically, I love the Tom Ka, Tom Yum and Chinese Hot and Sour soups. My favorite stir fry dishes are Basil w/chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan and Broccoli with chicken. I love their Pad Sew noodle dish as it's flavorful and just the right amount of garlic. A new recipe added recently is Tom Yum fried rice and it's very flavorful. This is a family owned and operated business and the service is always friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated with Asian decor. What stands out for me and makes this my favorite restaurant is it is family owned and they take pride in their dishes, the sauces are hand made using their family's recipes and that dishes can be made as hot or as mild as you would like them. They know how to use herbs and spices to enhance every dish. Highly recommend! read more

It was the lunch special so we got egg drop soup but we don't eat egg but we were told by our dining companions that it was fantastic! No substitutions so there's that.
