I took it with me in the car and pulled over by the side of the road just to eat it. That's how good it was. So happy we found some good Thai food!!! I thought the portions were a good size and we even had a enough to take home - although it didn't last long. Most thai food I have had was underwhelming and typically tastes the same restaurant to restaurant but this food had just enough of the right spices without trying too hard. Very small restaurant with seating for about 20 people - maybe. The service is always great. I have never had any issues or problems with anyone who works there. EXCELLENT Green Curry!!! I go here at least once a month, sometimes more. The green curry is absolutely a must-try. They give a big scoop of sticky rice on the side with the curry and I always wait until I'm all done with the food and sop up the sauce with the gravy and the two together makes it taste like it's a dessert. Skip It: This place has gone down hill fast with respect to food quality. Prices are high too. The rumor mill in the shopping center says they are fighting with the landlord and will get kicked-out by the end of the year. TLDR: best Thai noodles in town, pad se ew or pad Thai are my favs! Try the Thai tea! We have two favorite Thai places in a very close proximity to one another and this is our place for Thai noodle dishes. Every order has perfect flavor! And the noodles have been cooked to perfection with a chew and texture that is simply divine. I usually order chicken pad Thai with extra veggies and the beef pad see ew with extra veggies (medium spice). We also order spring rolls (with meat) they are crunchy and have a rice noodle and meat filling. This is a smaller restaurant around 10 tables but the service is always really fast and kind. However the majority of the time we get it as take out & the food is still hot and perfect when we arrive at our destination. Highly recommend trying! There is a large parking lot and though it does get busy, you can always find a spot. read more

The seafood combustion soup didn't get finished due to the spiciness of my Drunken Shrimp Noodles. I must have had a lapse in judgement on my spicy level. There American Hot Spice Level and then there This Hot Spice Level. The drunken noodles were perfect cooked and every bit was a test of will power! Thai Spice can become a good healthy habit. Their entrees include fresh veggies and salad and traditional Thai cuisine including a choice of at least five curries and white rice. I've enjoyed their pad thai and also the yellow curry prepared with coconut milk, herbs and spices. This is a quaint place tucked into a corner of a shopping center south of Enterprise and McMullen-Booth Roads, across from Northwood Plaza, Clearwater with limited seating for about 25. I noticed many customers arriving to pickup take out orders. I get the feeling when dining at Thai Spice that you've been invited to a friends home for a heartwarming meal. I love the ambiance with authentic Thai music playing softly in the background and Thai artwork or Thai scenes tastefully adorning the walls. Servers are pleasant and service is quick. We hadn't been by for a while and decided to stop in. It has a very cramped but serene space. We started with bowls of Tom Kha Gai(chicken), Thai hot. The soup had a wonderfully unique flavor. My only suggestion would be to offer more than sriracha and red pepper flakes for their "spice tray". Chili infused oil and fish sauce with peppers would be a better way to spice up all of their food rather than just sprinkling red pepper flakes over everything(see photo). For appetizers, we ordered Fresh Rolls, Bangkok Fried Shrimp(see photo) and Chicken Satay. We really enjoyed this selection. The standout by far was their Satay. You rarely see chicken that it is amply marinated in coconut milk and yellow curry. We would readily order these three again. For entrees, we ordered the Drunken Noodles and the Pork with Basil Chili sauce, both Thai hot. Both dishes were nicely spicy and had a great variety of veggies interlaced into the dishes. Some other Thai places focus a bit too much on bell peppers. We would also order both of these dishes again, too. What a delightful find located on Enterprise near Mcmullen Booth Road. This small, intimate and nicely decorated eatery was exactly what I had in mind for a Friday date night. My girlfriend and I were enroute to P.F. Changs and we passed Thia Spice. I convinced her to turn around and skip the busyness of the mall and give this place a try. Immediately I could tell the difference between Thia Spice and other large restaurants. Ambiet lighting, asian decor, smells of different food being cooked to order. Thia Spice is small and only has a few tables in their dinning room with no outside seating. The menu had typical Thia entrees on it with some pictures. The servers were nice and helpful answering questions about thier dishes. We ordered a kettle of jasmine tea that came with two small cups and lemon wedges. The food we ordered were both off the kitchen special menu for 14.95. I ordered crab fried rice which was large and plentiful. Shreeded crab meat was on top of my fried rice entree and garnishs were around the rim of the plate including a slice of cucumber. The second entree a Chili flavored chicken dish was delicious. Several pieces of chewy skinned chicken and tender flanky meat with a nice sauce atop vegetables and a side of hearted shaped white rice. Our server asked if we wanted soy sauce and brought over a small circular tray with pepper, a hot sauce, and a tangy but savory soy sauce. With a 4.5 star review I thought I would try it. Got the lunch special drunken noodles because the waiter said he liked it better than Pad Thai and it was spicy. It was not at all spicy and I had to dig to find any rice noodles. I thought maybe I could doctor it up and make it spicy so I asked for some hot chili oil. He gave me fish sauce with peppers in it and siracha sauce. So I asked again and got crushed red peppers. I was done by this time. I took it to go asking for a quart container. I was given a styrofoam container. Asked again and received the pint container and, as you can see in the photo, it filled about 1/2 the pint container and I only ate about 4 bites of vegetables and a couple noodles . I asked for steamed noodles for $2 more and almost filled the pint container when added to the rest. Definitely a huge disappointment and will never go back read more

That makes our diner experience very pleasant. The cozy interior deco is a plus. It is good for couples or to impress your date for a casual and affordable dinner. Since this was our first visit, we ordered basic dishes. Their food is decent. Not authentic Thai though but the ingredients are fresh and very good quality. We tried their green curry with chicken. The sweetness of the dish really helped to calm down the spice. I think I have given up looking for authentic Asian food here. After all, I am the minority and the one need to adapt to the new environment. As long as the restaurant try the best to provide good quality food and service, it won't be hard for me to like it. I'm so glad to have found Thai Spice! I'm very picky when it comes to Pad Thai because most places are too sweet and some are too runny and not enough meat, but Thai Spice's pad thai is just perfect. I usually get chicken with my entrees and there's always tons of chicken that on occasion I've had to leave some meat behind. Dishes I've tried that were delicious: curry puffs, tom yum, yellow curry, pad thai, pad se-ew, drunken noodles and thai spice fried rice. The place is much smaller than other Thai restaurants and the decor isn't Thai-like but it's nicely decorated and clean. Large parties should call ahead. read more

For only having Thai food a few times, I forgot how good it was. The staff here is super sweet, food was out in no time, and the portions were generous! We started off with the Curry Puffs and they were awesome. The perfect amount of appetizer for 2 people and definitely 3 if we had another guest. Sauces that came with it were comparable to a duck sauce. I got the chicken and rice soup that was included with my entree and it was a very light soup, but delicious! My sister opted for the side salad, which was just a regular salad and dressing of your choice. When our main dishes came out, I was amazed how big the portions were. I ordered the Pad Se-Ew and I was so glad I did! It's a noodle dish, and since I chose beef, it was almost comparable to a beef and broccoli but with a thicker sauce, almost gravy like. Lots of flavor and I definitely needed a to go box. My sister opted for the Lad-Na with chicken and it was more on the soupy side. Still tasteful, but if you don't want a soup-like dish, this isn't for you. She was disappointed with the texture, but it was still great! (She was just expecting something else) I had a bite..ok..multiple bites and it was sooo good. Little spice-kick to it. Don't forget the $3 house wine and $2 beer happy hour. We have been eating there for years. We always get the amazing chicken. It is peanut butter based sauce.The service is always good. Unfortunately when we eat there through the week, around 6 o'clock, it is not very busy. I am glad that they have been able to survive all the issues over the years. I ordered the chicken drunken noodle tonight, medium spicy, for carryout. It was absolutely delicious, some of the best Thai food that I have had. It was ready very quickly, about 10 minutes. Good combination of vegetables including mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, peppers, and onions. The spice level was perfect. I like my food spicy but not too spicy so I usually go down one level from what I would prefer and supplement with sriracha sauce or chili oil when I get home, but this was just right and I did not need to add anything. read more
