We were seated at the hibachi and thoroughly enjoyed the chef's shenanigans and agility in techniques. It's always a showstopper when they do the fire tricks. The food was well prepared and very flavorful. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I ordered the chicken hibachi from the lunch menu which included a soup or salad. I selected the salad. Tonight we went a little wild with the menu and ordered the Spicy Crab Roll, TNT Roll, New Century Roll, Emmons Roll, and New York Roll and every single one was a hit. The TNT and New Century rolls especially? Chef's kiss. We placed our order for takeout and everything was ready in about 30 minutes, perfectly packed and still restaurant-quality by the time we dug in. My family always goes here for birthday dinners which includes 6-8 people. today, 4/1, we went with 8 people. three FOH people, one sushi chef, and one hibachi chef. service was good but the singular hibachi chef cooked for two grills at the same time (16 people). not to mention 8 more people came in like 20 minutes after we got seated. the FOH was then very slow to give boxes, refill waters, or even give checks without being asked. that cook needs to be given a raise or at least tell the FOH staff to tell the customers that they're short staffed and things may take WAY longer than usual. read more

This place is a joke, i called to support local business and they told me the wait would be an hour. after 2 hrs and 10 mins I called asking where is my food or my refund I was told , it's just being packed how in the world do you make someone wait so long ? Why not be honest and tell them it's a 2 to 3 hours wait. I will never in my life support this business . Truly straight garbage. Stopped in for lunch. Ordered a Bay Ridge Roll (Eel, cream cheese, fried) for 8.95 and Philly roll (salmon, cream cheese for 4.50. ) Food: Both rolls were very heavy on cream cheese. The might as well not have even been there on the Bay Ridge and the fried tempora was very light. I was hoping for this to be served hot but it was not. I've had similar roll from other places and this would fall on the low end in comparison. The Philly roll was ok, Salon was a little gummy, everything else was fresh and had a nice snap to it. Experience and service: I sure felt as though I was nothing the staff coming here for lunch. Considering I was the only customer at the time the seems far more engaged in what they were watching on their tablet. This was a second time returning to this establishment and it will definitely be our last! We arrived around 5pm for dinner. We opted to sit at a table and not the grill. Our waiter took our order and we were very precise with 3 or the 5 orders that we did not want mushroom (two for dislike and one for allergies). The clear soup tasted like dishwater. Very bland and no flavor. The salad dressing is so so - not the beat. The main meal was a complete disaster. The 3 meals that shouldn't have mushroom did. The steak was ordered has medium and came out too well - almost burnt and inedible. We asked for extra yum yum sauce and we got salad dressing. The waiter had no idea what he was doing and tried to avoid eye contact once he knew he screwed up the order. We finally got his attention and told him about the screw up. He didn't seem to care too much. The 'manager' came over and re-stated what was wrong and said he would fix it. However the other meals were getting cold while waiting on others to be prepared. While waiting, we overheard the table in front had their order screwed up. We waited for a total of 30 minutes and still no food. Our waiter was more concerned about the private room party than the little tables in the restaurant. We finally waved him down and told him that we just wanted to pay for what we had and to cancel our order & he nodded. No more than 5 minutes later, he came back with the food. We politely declined the food and asked again for the bill. For 2 sushi rolls, egg rolls, 5 drinks, miso soup, 4 fried rice and 1 fried noodles - total bill $50. We left in such disgust of the lack of service. Whatever you do, don't go here. If you want Japanese food, take the drive to Hershey. We wish we did. We ended up at another establishment and had a blast with quality food. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting with no soap or paper towels. I live in Philadelphia and eat sushi frequently, so I'm a bit of a snob. When I found out that a sushi place opened in Lebanon (where my mom lives) I was obviously skeptical. However, I've been here about 4 times over the past number of years and haven't been let down once by the food. There are some things that bother me, like the fact that they don't really differentiate between sushi, sashimi, and maki on the menu very well (my mom ordered vegetable sushi and what came out was both sushi and maki). It also bothered me that on my most recent visit a waitress spilled some water on my leg and there was also no little dish for me to put my soy sauce and wasabi in - so I had to go to a different table and take theirs. That being said, the food is great. Yesterday I got a spicy tuna roll, and it came out with breadcrumbs in it. I've never seen that before and I was kind of like, "WTF?" but it worked really well. The crunch in the roll was good. I really wanted a Philly roll, but on their menu the Philly roll is salmon, cream cheese, and cucumber - and I'm used to the cucumber being avocado here, so I didn't really want that. Instead I ordered a TNT roll, which was salmon, cream cheese, and avocado (like I wanted) but it was lightly fried and served atop spicy mayo and what I think may have been hoison sauce, I'm not sure. It was sweet and spicy, though. And it was super super super good. Seriously. I'll be going back just to get that roll again. I also don't understand why this place has a three $ rating. They're CHEAP!!! A regular roll is like 5.50 and the special rolls are under 10 bucks! That's a serious bargain. Anyway, this is a gem in an awful town. read more

My friend started me off easy with a few rolls to share. We had salmon, spicy tuna and a California roll as a 3-roll lunch special and he also ordered a spider roll. I was not a fan of the texture of the raw fish in the salmon roll but I loved everything else. I've been back numerous times now, usually ordering a California roll and then something new each time. I tend to prefer the cooked fish and shellfish. (It's a texture thing.) It's a typical teppanyaki restaurant with decent sushi. I'm not really a fan of the show, but that's more because I've been to so many. I can pretty much tell you what tricks they'll do and in what order. They ARE entertaining to the newbies. The chefs do a good job of preparing your meal...which is most important to me. *side story* One time while I was dining there with my family, I caught the funniest thing. When the chef was tossing food (attempting to) into people's mouths, he missed and a piece a broccoli disappeared into this one lady's cleavage...LOL. I don't think anyone except for my wife and I noticed it. She excused herself from the table a few mins later =) ...funniest dining moment ever! The sushi is the best you'll get in Lebanon, but they win this by default. There really is no alternative. It's comparable to any sushi bar in Harrisburg, but definitely not the best I've had. Of course, I've had sushi at some amazing restaurants on the west coast. I have to give them credit for making use of what they little resources are available in this town. The prices are a little on the high end for what you're getting, but this is typical for any teppanyaki restaurant. The best feature is probably the BYOB. We were in a group of 12 and pretty much everyone but me ordered some kind of hibachi. I ordered the Spicy Combination sushi which was good. Although not a big fan of hibachi - I did try some shrimp and chicken from my mom's plate and they were actually really good. They never cease to disappoint. The service is, bar none, the worst ive ever experienced. Tonight we get sat. Hangin out. Figured out what we wanted. Minutes go by... No one comes to our table. A 2 is sat right next to us and another 2 at the hibachi on the other side of them. Im talking 10-15 minutes in we had nothing. No drinks and hadnt even spoken to our server. The 4 people that came in after had tea etc, salads and soup. When i mentioned to the server that sat us what was going on she said she wasnt our server. But she took our drink order.... Apparently our server was helping the 2 that came in after we did that sat at the hibachi.... Well kugo, im done. Too many bad experiences. We spend 70+ bucks and tip 20+% every time we eat out. My husband loves to eat sushi and this restaurant serves very good sushi comparable to the high end sushi bar/restaurant in Tokyo, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
