Came here for lunch on Valentine's Day. Was slow in the restaurant. Nice atmosphere and clean place. We ordered the sushi roll special to start which was good value for two rolls. Sushi was very good. I got a steak and shrimp hibachi entree. As it was $1 per shrimp to order the add on to the lunch. The hibachi was very bland and the steak was well done instead of medium as ordered. Waitress was kinda unattentive and never brought the sauce requested. Stopped here while I was in Lebanon for lunch and was surprised at how good the sushi is. The rolls were massive! The tropical inferno roll was great. Maybe we hit it on an off night considering the positive reviews... First impression- only one other table of diners with a few take-out orders; sticky menu; sticky floors; a fair amount of discarded food on the floor behind the sushi counter; temperature of the dining area on the warm side. Ordered spring rolls and they were frozen and soggy throughout. Returned them and the second order was hotter. Ordered four rolls. Impression: Tempera roll tasted like it was fried in "old" and rancid oil; salmon was not a robust color but on the paler side And slightly slimy to the touch; obviously replaced name brand soy sauce with much cheaper and saltier brand - so salty that you couldn't eat it. Sushi rolls had absolutely no flavor profile. It was bland despite layers of ingredients. I returned my rolls because I didn't want to get sick after my son told his friend where we were eating and he said he had food poisoning after eating there. I paid for two rolls the other person ate even though he didn't finish them because he didn't think they tasted fresh and the spring rolls plus tip and it was still $30 for a few half pieces of frozen spring rolls, a few pieces of sushi, and 2 waters. We still had to eat dinner when we left because we were hungry. Waitress apologized, but we knew they were talking about us in their native language and laughing. She offered a complimentary icecream dessert which was already melting on the plate from the kitchen to the dining room. I politely declined, paid for the bill, and left. When it comes to raw fish, I'm not taking my chances under the bevy of "red flags" I observed. I know it's a tough climate for restaurants, but cutting corners on safety isn't the way to do it. read more

Had a pickup order. I sat for over a half hour waiting for my food. Super disappointed.

Service was good. The appetizers were great especially the crab rangoon but the sushi was not that great. The rice was quite dry and really let the dishes down. The room was nice and the ambiance was enjoyable. read more

I pretty confident saying this is my favorite restaurant in Leb Town. The sushi is fresh and the service is fast.

Very clean and beautiful remodel of the old Coleman house. Seems to be either owned or affiliated with the Wasabe restaurant in Hershey which I've always had great experiences at. The temperature is a bit cold on the cold side. Service is excellent, very attentive and timely. Our entrees came out fast and beautifully plated. Food quality was exceptional. On the Philly Roll the Salmon quality is better than anywhere else you will get sushi in the county. The Eel cracker roll is a fantastic unique experience serves warm with a melody of sweet and slightly spicy. Easily one of my favorite rolls and quite filling on its own. Also had a Veggie Tempura Bento box. Again everything was fantastic. The ginger dressing on the salad is amazing. read more

The food is great but we have had very service the last couple times we went. The first time I brought my service dog and we were denied eating in because we had her. She has all her tags and her vest that clearly states she's a service dog. Today 1/19/2024 we didn't tip our waitress because she never smiled. We would say thank u and she wouldn't say anything back. By far shittiest waitress ever. We went out to our car and we didn't tip her the boss followed us to our car and paraded us about not tipping I told him I don't tip shitty service. Very un called for you dont follow someone to their car. The only reason I go back is for their food because it's actually good. Never will I eat in again . What a fun place. We visited last night (a group of 6 on a Saturday) and had a great time. The people were friendly, the food was very good, and the ambiance was beautiful. How nice to have this kind of Japanese food in Lebanon, PA. The full bar was a welcome addition for a lovely evening. Their drinks were wonderful- special drinks on the menu, beer, wine, spirits (my in-laws were particularly fond of the Saketinis). We had a variety of sushi, sashimi, and gourmet Bento Boxes. Take-out experience (dining room has been closed) Since moving to Lebanon, we have ordered the sushi/sashimi combination dinner from Misago twice; each time the food has been fresh and tasty! The fact that a line forms for the pickup window seems to be testament to the fact that the chef is a master of his/her trade. Each dinner has come with chopsticks, duck sauce, extra napkins and plenty of soy sauce. The staff has been very friendly both times. The restaurant appears to be a nice venue (seen through windows of the small front lobby). I cannot wait to experience their cuisine in their dining area. At the time of this review, the rest of the state is opening for business while Misago Bistro appears to be taking a more cautious return to normalcy. Without the dining room and facilities, I cannot say that they would be a 5-star rating a year from now. My feeling is that I'll be back to add the last star. read more

Misago is a welcomed addition to Lebanon, an area definitely lacking in good Asian food and Sushi specifically. The sushi here is definitely good, especially by the area standards. They give you large slices of sashimi and very intricate rolls, I'd say good value for money. The wasabi tuna roll was phenomenal.
