The taste was great, but not happy with the portion size and the price? I always hesitate to buy their food. Servers not friendly.

But for the same price, we can get so much more at places like Oriental Market and just as delicious to satisfy our craving for Filipino food. Parking was easy with plenty of spaces out front, service was great and friendly. Seating space? Extremely limited, especially if you have a party of 5 or more. Best to order for takeout food which brings me to my main point - if I have to order Filipino takeout because of extremely limited seating, I'd rather simply get a la carte elsewhere and pay a lot less or hit up Rocklin area where there are restaurants that serve fantastic boba drinks with fantastic Filipino dishes for much more affordable prices! Is the food incredible? Yes! Will it satisfy your craving for Filipino food? Absolutely! Would I return? No, I wouldn't, to be perfectly honest. Regardless, I feel it's worth a try if you haven't yet but just be mindful of the highs and lows. It's not all great, but it's not all bad. Mediocre and average, at the very least, given all factors. Do I have high expectations of Filipino restaurants? You bet I do!

They offer different silogs, noodles, lumpia, bobas, and more. We got the pancit, pork lumpia, and halo halo. Food took a while to come out. But it was worth the wait. The pancit tasted just like the ones my aunties made. Loved that it came with a lemon wedge instead of a lemon juice packet. There was a good amount of meat where most places put way too many vegetables. The lumpia was crispy and filling was fresh. The halo-halo was spot on with all the best stuff in it. Service was a little chaotic. The staff were all in the back busy working so there wasn't anyone in the front if you needed anything. But someone did come out if you needed help. There was one auntie calling loudly for an uncle to come out from the back when someone needed help. Reminded me so much of home!

Not fancy, not trying to be trendy... just home-style food prepared with care and ready when hunger hits. The teriyaki chicken bowl was delicious with a savory sauce that wasn't overly heavy or too sweet, but honestly the standout for me was the Filipino food menu. The lechon, chicken adobo, and pancit really make this place feel extra special and local. The food has that comforting homemade feeling that reminds you why smaller family style spots are usually the hidden gems. And of course... I couldn't leave without getting the halo-halo. I went with the avocado version because honestly... green dessert for the green T-Rex just made sense. Instant happiness. This is the kind of place that may not look fancy on the outside, but the food brings that comforting home-cooked feeling that keeps people loyal. I didn't get to explore it much today, but the hot food counter is right when you walk in. I was instantly greeted and felt very welcome; the lady at the counter was extremely helpful. I wanted a plate with pancit, adobo, and lechon, and she said they had all of it. I also wanted to grab some lumpia and longanisa, but I decided to save that for my second trip. This massive plate, easily enough for two meals, came out to just under $13, which is insane. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes with hot food in hand. In terms of value, time, and service, this place is already killing it. But is the food good? It was perfect and exactly what I wanted today. Filipino cuisine isn't the healthiest, admittedly, just like one of my own cuisines, Mexican food. Probably best in moderation, but I digress. Sometimes you just want to indulge, and that's okay. From my limited knowledge, Filipino food is very meat-heavy, so come prepared for really flavorful, fatty, and meaty dishes. Now, onto the plate. The lechon, one of my all-time favorites, was perfectly crispy, juicy, and succulent. It was amazing dipped in what I believe is a liver-based sauce called "sarsa." It isn't really liver-y or gravy-like in flavor. Only the texture is gravy-like. The taste is sweet, tangy, and slightly acidic. Honestly, one of the most balanced sauce-to-meat combos ever. Perfect. The pork adobo was really good, too. I usually prefer chicken adobo, but pork is customary. It was definitely richer than the lechon, still delicious, but a lot to finish in one sitting. I always love the stewed texture and aromatic flavors of adobo. The pancit was a little different from what I'm used to. It seemed like it was cooked with a sauce and had a thicker noodle mixed in with the more familiar glass noodles, but it was still delicious. I loved that there were lots of veggies and even pieces of pork in it. This is a great place to stop by and indulge. They are serving excellent food and portions at a very commendable price point. I will definitely be back to try more, especially some of their baked goods like señorita bread. Awesome experience. I've said in other reviews how much I love traditional grocery stores that also serve hot food. Very fortunate to have so many to explore in the North Highlands area.
