I placed an order at 7:50 PM and I called back at 7:51 PM exactly 60 seconds later trying to cancel my order and the lady told me that my sushi had already been made and that I had to come and pick it up and pay for it. When proceeding to hang up the phone, she said to come pick up my food in 15 minutes. Why did she say 15 minutes if my sushi was already ready? I will never be going here again. Also they close at 9 PM but they lock their door at 8:40 PM. Terrible business. Sushi was not bad but they are rude and overpriced. read more

First time customer and not a fan. 2 Takeout orders of Teriyaki Chicken were very large and enough for 2 meals each however the breading was excessive , had a very gummy texture and taste was very bland. read more

This restaurant is very cute inside, and the sushi is fresh. I like the Triple Color for a nice variety of different fish. The salad and soup are pretty standard as compared with other sushi places in the area, but are both good! read more

I came here on my lunch break and it was completely empty. The waitress was very attentive and provided good service. They give you free miso soup and unlimited spicy mayo which is great. The only problem is that I ordered a CA roll and spicy crab roll and they are very small! If they were bigger, I would've gave them a full 5 stars. read more

RUDE! Absolutely worst ordering food experience. The people on the phone took my order at 650p, I call them at 745, food no where in site, they said they are busy and it's on the way. 15 min later, still nothing so I call again. They apparently brought the order to the wrong house and then tried to tell me someone took it, they asked 12 times if I was sure no one else took it, as if I was lying. They literally also hung up the phone on me annoyed that I tried to tell them I never got the food. Just hearing back and forth yelling at each other in Japanese. Finally they brought the food at 830, ridiculous service. If you want to order here, you better pick up! They didn't even offer a discount and the girl on the phone seemed to be laughing at my getting upset on the phone. read more

So I'm like the first to review....like going first in speech class. There are fewer charmless malls than the Golden Horseshoe. If hell has a mall, it's going to look like the GS with the world worst supermarket, an awful Chinese restaurant and an odd lot of assorted businesses to serve the needs of this community. Against that backdrop, Sakura really isn't bad, in fact the food is quite good if you are looking for decent sushi without trucking to Dobbs Ferry or those condescending people next to the Hartsdale train station. As far as a restaurant experience goes, eh, not here. It's sort of like eating in the post office. The wine used to come in airplane bottles. Escaping traffic from New York City to Connecticut, we used Yelp to help us find this sushi spot tucked into a shopping center. Because we were there at 3pm, we literally had the place to ourselves and were delighted to find delicious food at a great price (courtesy of their lunch specials)! My son had the 3 roll special; and the spice asparagus roll was a particular favorite. I had the Tempura Udon which was generous, hot and deliciously comforting on a cold, wet day.
